The place is great. They fixed an electrical problem with one of my trucks. They did it for $120! That's unheard of. I've taken maybe cars and trucks to a shop, the price is never that low. These guys will definitely have my continued business with all my trucks!

Dishonest. Don't waste your money. They told me my brake pads were almost gone and a number of other things needed replacing only for me to take a look and see my pads looked almost brand new still (I had replaced them about 6 months ago) and so did most everything else.

Had a surprise flat tire, sadly couldn't be fixed. They had a used tire to get me by and out the door for a killer price. Fantastic employees as well very helpful and friendly.

Had a control arm fixed. Mechanic didn't tighten bolts all the way tire almost came off driving down the street. If it were to come loose on the expressway could have been dangerous for me or anyone around me. I will not be going back

Brought 2 trailer tires in to get mounted to be able to use my trailer over 4th of July weekend. I left the tires with the shop over night n picked them up the next day. However upon putting the tires onto my trailer and towing it upnorth after the first night one tire was completely flat. Okay put the spare on n be on my way nope Low and behold it took the other tire that they mounted another night to go completely flat these were brand new tires also I only replaced the old ones because I was worried about dry rot, well with me not having two spare tires I had to leave my trailer upnorth on family property because I could not tow it home. I was really excited to have thought I found a good shop based on reviews however personal experience has taught me otherwiseService: Tires

I ve been taking my vehicles to Tim s Auto for years now. They are straight shooters and my vehicle always runs and drives better when I leave than I expected. I recently had some work done that I didn t know I was going to have to do. Tony told me straight up what needed to happen, how much it was going to cost and when the work would be done. The work was done on time, the estimate was accurate and the vehicle performed better than expected. They have consistently earned my business.So I went back today for another issue. These folks were very good to me. I pulled off the highway as my car was in the process of dying and pulled into their garage. They were busy, but were kind enough to take 10 minutes to look at my car, evaluate it, and give me some suggestions so that I could make some plans about when/how to get the car fixed. They also put some oil in it in that 10 minutes, even though it was time out of their day, and they only charged me for the oil, not for any labor or inspection fee. (I even offered to tip them and they said no.) They were also good enough to answer my many questions, and helped me to evaluate the safety of driving the car. I felt very respected by them and lucky to have found them. I would return to them again and recommend others to them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

This place is great , would highly recommend. The mechanic matt was very professional and knowledgeable. They immediately put my vehicle on the lift to see why my truck was shaking . I had loose bolts on my lower control arms , the mechanic matt tightened them all up for free of charge . Overall great staff and very fast service . I will definitely be back !

Tim s shop is the pinnacle definition of what small town businesses are about. We had a flat tire on the way to cedar point. Tim s crew had it patched up and ready to go in 15 minutes. They even performed their services free of charge. Just told us to have fun in cedar point. I highly recommend their business. Great people, great business!

I was having major issues with my tires and needed work done asap! Basically all 4 of my busted, old and worn out tires taken off and needed the 4 replacements put back on. I had called several places and they ALL wanted an arm & a leg (some wanted me to leave my car over night!) But after speaking with Tim, he quoted me an amazing and pretty decent price. Said he could get everything done same day - really just a matter of hours! I dropped my car off, he called a few hours later, I picked my car up and everything with my tires was great. Tim was a nice and friendly guy, and my car drives alot better now!

I had to take my car in recently and ended up having to have another engine put in my car. Tony found a great used engine for me with only 17,000 miles on it and had my car repaired in less than a week after he was able to get the engine. The total cost was extremely reasonable and he provided great quality service. I was very pleased with everything that they did, him explaining everything that they found during the diagnosis and his utmost professionalism throughout the entire process with keeping me up to date on everything that he was doing. I've taken my vehicle here a couple times, no complaints. Great communication and speedy service. Has after hour drop off option. No real waiting room so you may want to find something to do while you wait.

Had previously taken my truck to the big tire store to have a slow leak patched in a tire. I was told leak couldn t be patched so it would be four new tires as well as both front control arms we re going bad. Tony and the guys at Tim s auto were able to patch my tire as well as verify that both control arms had no issue. This five star rating is for honesty, speed of service, and fair prices. Every time I ve brought vehicles to Tim s auto I have received great service! Highly recommended!

Have dealt with Tim's Auto Service on several occasions and have NEVER been disappointed or surprised. Tony and staff are personable, polite and take the time to explain the issues. We WILL continue to let Tim's Auto perform all of our vehicle maintenance services. I had my truck in for a brake job and while they were polite and courteous,when I got my truck back the parking brake no longer worked and all of a sudden that was my fault and I was expected to pay over four hundred dollars to fix it. Tony was very helpful and knowledgeable, I took my car in to get repaired and he got back to me within a few hours to let me know the problem and fixed it. All around great people and great prices! Great, never had any issues with Tim's. Been there many times with different cars. Always get an honest answer. Even when the answer is your car is probably better off running into the ground than repairing. Prices are fair and the service is quick enough. I appreciate the honesty and the effort they put in every time. Never does anything without the go ahead from you. Dealt with far worse places in the past. Best shop in Milan.

I ve been coming to Tony for my car repairs for many years now. He s always been very prompt and professional with work I ve needed done. I just recently had a lot of work done on my vehicle and it was a quick turnaround and I couldn t be happier with the way my car drives now. I'm from Cleveland and work as an expedited driver. My transmission blew on the highway right by Milan MI. Tim's Auto was the only place I could limp my van to. I was afraid that being out of town I could easily get ripped off based on my circumstances. Tim's Auto got me a new transmission and installed it for a better price than what I was finding online. They were extremely nice and professional. I could not have broke down near a better auto shop than them. They are good people who did a great job getting me back on the road. I sincerely appreciate the fact that there are still people out there who are more about good service than their bottom line. Thanks you to everyone at Tim's Auto for getting me back on the road and back to work.

Had a tire emergency as I was traveling south on 23. I was 2 hours from home. They stepped up and went above and beyond to get me back on the road! I've been going to (Lincoln Street Garage) Tim's Auto for over 15 years. I won't go anywhere else. Tony (new owner) is outstanding and doesn't try to rob people like some other garages. Great service, great pricing, and quality work.

Fair pricing and fast service! My radiator had a leak and was causing my car to overheat when we were traveling through Charlotte late at night on a Saturday. We left it at Tim s, left them a message and found alternate transportation home (an hour and a half away). They called us first thing Monday to let us know they were very busy and would take a look as soon as they could, which ended up being that afternoon. Once they determined it needed a new radiator they had it fixed by Wednesday. They were able to find the time to look at and fix our car within 3 days during a busy time right before the 4th of July! Absolutely awesome guys!

Tim's was fantastic! The would have had my car back to me on the same day I brought it in, had I brought them the right part, and they were really understanding and patient with having to wait for me to order the right part. When I did get the right part to them, they had my car done within 2 hours! I definitely recommend them!!!!!

Tony is a skilled and honest mechanic. He fixes what is broke, nothing more and nothing less. He always works to find the most affordable way to keep your vehicle moving. I have followed him and his crew from Lincoln Street Garage since he opened shop in Ypsilanti. Best auto repair shop, from simple oil changes to entire engine replacement.

I was recommended to this place by a friend. I got a new alternator and battery and they even went above and beyond to fix another issue for me! I d highly recommend and going forward they ll be the first place I consider for future repairs.

I moved recently to Milan and needed some work done on my truck. After meeting the owner, Tony I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle in his hands. When I got my vehicle back the result was better than I expected. low cost with quality work. He has a customer for life from me.
