Worst auto place. Have tried a few times and each and every time it's a disappointment. They are extremely slow, never answer a phone. You'll wait forever before they even see you there. Overcharge you for services that are already paid for. Often refuse to do the work(literally have had to take my own tires off in the parking lot, how safe is that? ) can never use the system correctly, can take them an hour to find your order. Can't even find your ordered tires sitting on the shelf. Rude and don't know how to perform simple tasks. Was told not to bring my vehicle back because changing tires was too difficult for them.Go elsewhere or drive to a different location.

Always great service and prices. I only go to this Walmart for my car services and they even offer free tire rotation when you buy tires through any Walmart. They take pride in their work and it shows. It's a busy place and I can see why.

They will find the smallest reasons to deny performing services on your vehicle. Don t bother wasting your time unless your vehicle is brand new, even then, they will probably find a reason to not service your vehicle.

Called to see if they could fix a stem leak in my tires. Auto dept guy said bring the tires in. I arrive and another guy tells me they cant do it without an Appointment. I told him what the guy on the phone said . Ended up talking to another guy who said they can not do the job for another hour. So i left the car . After about 30 minutes they call and say they can fix the stem leak in the 18 in tire in my truck but not the 16 in outside duels on the truck cuz they were too big. Fast forward to pick up. They are empty no customers at all. Doing legit nothing. I go in to square up, young guy behind the counter says yea we only dont usually work on duels cuz they are harder to get off. Basically told me on the phone they can do duels then in person say they are too lazy to take the tire off. If i could give them 0 stars i would. They dont even deserve one. They are the laziest workers and ill never return or recommend them for any auto related job

*DO NOT*and I mean *DO NOT*get any tires installed from here. they cause rim leaks and valve leaks then going to charge again to fix what they caused. They do not have workers who know what there doing. *DO NOT* buy road hazard as well.they'll claim "the system don't show that you have purchased it" until I showed them the receipt with it on there. could only tell me "oh" so I got my refund after finding out other things like then especially if you live on dirt roads don't get it either. they will not cover any problems if you are. they'll claim "it looks like the vehicle went off road. Void Road Hazard if customers has it" it will even say it on your receipt. i suggest goSomewhere else, if you insist on going to Walmart. Midlands location Is not the one u want. Go to mtp instead and hope they Will have you right unlike midland they'll send you on your way with more problems or a half A$S did job Nor will they talk about cost with you b4 they start the job.

Although they are slower than most other tire and battery places, it's the best value if you have the time.

Made an appointment and the guy didn't even ask what kind of tires I needed. I asked if he wanted to know he was like, "oh yeah! That'd be great." When I told him, he reassured me that they had 9 in stock. When I arrived for my appointment, the guy told me I was 17 minutes early and went and did other stuff before waiting on me. When he finally came back, he started asking me all about my car. I told him I had already ordered tires. He looked up the tires and said he only had 3 available. Never once did he ask for my name. I have no idea if they set those tires aside for me. I left. Got the same tires for the same price at Discount Tire.

I bought four new tires on 08/01/2022. On 06/30/2023, I discovered a screw in the middle of a rear tire, and took my SUV to my local service center for repair (according to the terms of my Road Hazard Warranty). At that time, my tires had 14,424 miles since I purchased them 10 months ago. I expected there to be a cost related to repairs for the tire with a screw in it. Imagine my disappointment when Timothy, Car care Manager, told me that according to Department of Transportation LAW required me to replace all four tires because my vehicle is 4WD. I demanded to see a copy of the referenced law, and after a rather nasty verbal exchange, refused to replace tires with 14,424 miles on them. It s a known fact that scare tactics are used in an attempt to sell tires. I can t prove that this was what they were attempting to do, but I am an older woman, and they were quoting a DOT law that DOES NOT EXIST. It concerns me that this tactic is being used on the elderly population, which is a very poor way of doing business. They did plug the tire free of charge, and sent me on my way. In conclusion, BUYER BEWARE. Do not tolerate hard pressure sale tactics. When a law is referenced, ask to see a copy, or use the internet to verify that a law actually exists. I was told that my tire had a ring of death caused by driving on under inflated tires. My Ford Explorer is equipped with a tire sensor system. I NEVER drive on tires that are under the recommended PSI. I m including a picture of the tire that allegedly bore the ring of death .Service: Tires

We own a delivery business so we buy tires frequently. I purchased tires for 3 vehicles on one order online. So I should have had 12 tires. I made appointments for one vehicle at a time to get the tires put on because I can t drive more than one vehicle at a time. When I arrived for my first appointment, they couldn t figure out how to dispense just 4 tires. The guy kept telling me I ordered 16 tires. I looked at my order and I only ordered 12. I told them I could not keep driving this vehicle without new tires because I had already had a flat. So they did agree to put the 4 tires on the vehicle and I asked for an oil change while they had it back there. They called 10 minutes later to tell me they couldn t get the lug nuts off. So I said fine, just do the oil change and I will take the tires with me.Two days later, I went to get tires put on another vehicle. Again, they couldn t figure out how to dispense the tires for just that vehicle. So I said just give me all 8. Then they tried telling me I ordered the wrong size tires for the suburban. Which I did not. I asked for an oil change on that vehicle while it was back there also, which they did not do even though it took over 2 hours to get the tires changed.I will not be going back here for tires or anything else ever again. This was a nightmare experience.Services: Tires, Oil change

I have a tail light out and went in to see if they could change it. They were clearly busy, so I parked my car and walked in. The man at the register said his techs were tied up until 4pm (they close at 7pm). I asked if I could leave my car and he said no, they're too busy. I clearly had a look on my face because the man said, "Look, I understand you're not getting this." I replied I understood he's understaffed and had a lot of business. I asked if I could come back in Sunday and he said yes. I asked if I could make an appointment and he said, "we don't do appointments." Clearly bases on other reviews they do appointments. I'm not sure if his behavior was because I'm a woman. I'm sure a lot is because he was feeling overwhelmed. Either way, we won't be bringing any of our cars here again. Go to Midland Ford. They got me in and have excellent customer service.

Not a Good Idea! Drove home on a flat tire.New tires last year at this time. Paid for Road Side etc. This year 1 Tire loosing air, going flat, they ended up putting new tire on, cost me $47.62, got in the car drove 13 miles home and the tire is once again FLAT. Called they told me to put a spare on it and bring it in tomorrow, but the girl I spoke with said You have the wrong size rims on that car. Sounded to me like they were Not going to warranty any of the others or if it happened again. They put the Tires on. Why didn't someone say something when there was NO issue? But my son and I could have died on the way home from Walmart, but sounds like they really don't care anyways. She told me to go to the Junk Yard and get the Right size Rims. Are they going to FIX my tire? Find out tomorrow. What a JOKE. Next Day took back in, they were trying to fix the tire I drove home on that was flat. I could have DIED. If I would have taken a sharp turn or Drove on US10, what a joke. I learned my lesson Don't buy Tires at Walmart because you think your getting a DEAL. Not only that the Technician told me to " go to the Junk yard and get the Original rims for the car which are 18's." She was wrong they were 17s only we went with a width size larger, 10 years ago. Jokes on her. She obviously doesn't know how to put a New Tire on and that was my mistake not asking to see the old one.

I got the feeling that they were all new at their jobs. They put my tires on, took an hour. Then they had to put a TPMS sensor in, I asked for this when I checked in. That took another hour. They blamed it on computer problems.

Never bring your car to this place. Even when I had excellent business relationship in the past at the Streetsboro Ohio facility, the employees at the Midland Michigan Walmart Auto Care Center are the worst. First experience for me at this place, and as always in Midland Walmart, they never have what you need. They didn't have my car tires Size . The Auto Care employees are disgusting, disrespectful, and with a terrible attitude. It would take an essay to describe the list of things that make them a customer unfriendly business. I had the opportunity to take my car for alignment later, to the Belle Tires right in front of them, because Walmart won't do it, and the experience was the inverse reciprocate.

My son needed 4 new tires and when he called to schedule the appt they said he could get them the next day. So we dropped the car off but when they were supposed to do the work they called and said that the tires magically disappeared. Won't be going back. Had to go to a more reliable place that could do the job.

Took 5 minutes to pickup new tires, sales associate was very helpful as well. I also bought a few emergency items to.keep.in my 16 yr old daughters car for winter emergencies, the associate was great with answering my questions and helping me find exactly what I was looking for. He also shared personal experiences with me to help my make decisions on my items and their usefulness. Highly recommend, will absolutely return.

The staff there absolutely lied to my wife about the condition of our tires. We recently bought two new tires there. The two that we were keeping on our vehicle they told her were dry rotting and needed to be replaced. They claimed they were doing her a favor even by letting her leave with them in the condition they were. The thing is I bought those tires 13 months ago. They're still under warranty. I took the car to Belle Tire and asked them about the condition of the tires, and they said they were in perfect shape still. I only went to Walmart because the corporation bought the rights to the specific Tire that I needed to buy to have a match set. This situation just guarantees that I will never use Walmart's Auto Care center ever again. And frankly at this point I'm not all that sure that I'll ever want to shop there in the rest of the store either. The whole corporation is just shady AF.

I got 4 new tires on my wives car. They wrote on the outside of the wheel the position of the wheel. Most places write that on the inside of wheel. Who wants writing on their aluminum wheels? A few days later they all were showing low on the dash. We made a appointment the following Saturday and I talked to manager and told him they shouldn't write on the outside of people s wheels and told him they were leaking air. I asked him if they used bead sealer on the tires. He said they should of but didn't know forsure. That's all he said. I asked if they can put bead sealer on and he walked away and went out in garage. He never said one more word to me.Then the cashier told us they were running 2hrs behind. So we spent our Saturday on a holiday weekend because of their mistake waiting for our car.The cashier was very nice but the manager was very short and rude. I guess they busted tires off and put bead sealer on. Aluminum wheels need bead sealer or they will leak around the bead. They wrote on the outside of the wheels again!! We will see if they hold air but never going back. They have alot of unqualified people working in their garage in my opinion. They never did tell us where they were leaking and what they did. Go to a real tire shop like bell tire.Stay away from this place. It's not worth saving a few bucks .Service: Tires

Always came to Walmart auto center for tires. Called and inquired on an appointment for simply one tire changed. Was told by guy on phone he was leaving and the other two there already had one appointment and that s all they could handle. He d have to get approved from his manager to get my one tire changed. Than he hung up on me. Do better Walmart.Service: Tires

Didn't know beforehand, even tho we talked to someone a couple days before, that an appointment was necessary currently because of construction. They were able to schedule me for early the next day tho and I honestly have never had any issues with Walmart auto services. No complaints.

I went to the Midland Michigan auto service center to get my oil changed and chassis greased on my 2005 chevrolet tahoe. I brought my own oil and filter which I previously purchased from Walmart. I asked the service manager if the chassis lube was included. After the service was complete and I was notified by text, I waited a half hour before someone showed up at the service desk so I could pay and be on my way. The service manager said that the desk person was at lunch. After I got my keys I went to my vehicle and I decided to check if the grease job was done. I crawled under and looked. Someone took the time to wipe fresh grease on the grease zurks but their was never a grease gun on them. I looked at the rubber boots on the ball joints and tie rod ends and they were collapsed from lack of grease. I went back into the store and told the service manager. He took my keys and drove my vehicle back in. They supposedly greased it but never wiped the old dirt and grease off the grease zurks. I checked. Wonder how many others unknowingly have had this happen? I was not at all impressed. Poor quality service!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

I made the mistake of coming here twice in one week. Thursday I brought my truck for an oil change because there was no other vehicles waiting. Was told it would take about an hour. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Today I brought the wives jeep for an oil change was told it would take about 45 minutes and it took 2 hours. The girl at the counter was very rude and none of the workers seem to care about the customers. They act like there getting paid whether their working on vehicles or not. On my way home the change oil light came on. I went back and heard one of the workers say they didn't know how to reset it. The girl had to look it up on Google to see how to do it. My 6 year old could have done that. I was going to buy a set of tires for my truck from here but will pay the extra money somewhere else to not have to deal with incompetent people. I think management should spend more time in the auto center. Stay away unless you want to be disappointed.

Great service when you have an appointment. Scheduled for oil change and new tire installation and was completely satisfied. On time for beginning the appointment and done in less time than quoted!

I had an appointment for tire install and it took 2 hours for me to get my tires installed.. also the wheels had grease all over them and all over the rims like they didnt bother to wipe them down after installing new tires. The balance is also off on the tires which I'm going to have to go pay to get redone

Always a good experience at the Walmart auto service center in Midland.

Well to begin with they made me wait almost two and a half hours when they told me it'd be only a hour and a half. And they didn't tell me that until they had already taken my keys. After that the guy who did my oil change didn't look like he knew what I was doing. I went to finally pay and he told me that my truck had a oil leak. So I asked the mechanic who did my oil change where it was, and he responded with "I'm not sure, It's all over." I over all was not pleased at all with my experience and will not be returning to this location ever to get my oil changed.

Recently, I had my car towed to the Midland MI auto center with 2 blown out tires. I had purchased the road hazard warranty when I bought them approximately 1 year earlier in West Branch MI. ( an A one experience) The Midland store s Communication and service was awesome. I spoke with Michelle, and she set me up! When I went in to get my car I dealt with Tim, and a couple others ( don t recall their names) and a service manager who finished the process so I could get on my way. I will be back when I need auto service in the future. Thanks to all at Walmart who made this unfortunate ordeal an easy, pleasant transaction. Sincerely, Anne Oberg

Worst service ever. Had a appointment to do flat repair on my back tires. Told me my tires are fine and have no leaks...woke up to 2 flat rear tires. They never even looked at them.

Decent customer service with friendly employees, but they dont have the correct tools to install low profile tires onto wheels, took them 3 hours to install one tire and I left with the spare still on my car. They did not charge me though!

Absolutely the most unorganized Walmart auto center I've ever been to. Stood inside waiting for someone to talk to about an oil change & no one came up to me, but walked past me multiple times. Finally I decide to just sit in my car & wait in line. 10 minutes later a worker comes up to me & says that I need to go inside & set up an oil change first & I'm in the way of other customers. Very rude worker & I will never go here again.
