New to the experience of shopping for body work and I was 100% satisfied with my experience at Suderman s.Cost:I started with a baseline price and quote from the dealership. Next, I crowd sourced Ask Midland and Suderman s was a top choice.To be prudent, I also checked out another top competitor based on the responses from Ask Midland .Suderman s was 1/2 the cost of the dealership and 1/3 the price of the Subaru certified body shop.Customer experience:On Friday, I stopped by and was given a free estimate in about 20 minutes.I was able to schedule the work to begin the following Wednesday. By Friday at 1pm, they contacted me and let me know the work was completed.Another perk was that they provided a free loaner car.Quality of work:They replaced my fender with a brand new part and the paint looked like a perfect match.5 stars. I am a satisfied customer and have/will recommend Suderman s to my friends and family for their body work.Thank you Suderman s!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This shop ruined my Subaru's engine. Their incompetence ruined my car's turbocharger which led to TOTAL engine failure. Thousands of dollars and several trips to their shop later, my car failed in my driveway on the way home from the shop.

My wife's 2005 Honda Civic had an exhaust leak. We dropped it off at 10am, and by 11am they called me with options and estimates. I chose an option, plus added an oil change and they had everything ready to go shortly after 1pm the same day. Work was done very well, and much faster than expected. Definitely my new go-to for all my automotive needs.

Good people that work hard to take care of their customers. I purchased my car from them two years ago, and just had it in for some work after an accident. They went above and beyond what the insurance company requires by giving me discounted additional repairs, polishing the whole side of the car and shampooing the inside.

I've used Suderman's for my car care needs for several years now. I've witnessed nothing but top notch care, professionalism, and honesty from Doug and his staff. Numerous times, he has gone out of his way to help me and work with me. He stands behind his work and is very helpful.Bottom line is this a top-notched establishment that I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for vehicle maintenance.Thanks Doug and staff for all you do! The extra things that you do for your customers do not go unnoticed!

Stay far away.For anyone that's been going to Suderman's Car Care because your family does, pleas read this: My grandfather went to Suderman's for any car he had; every oil change, emergency light, broken tail bulb, or even windshield wiper replacement was done at this shop. He started a tradition for our family to go here, and he swore by Suderman's quality.As of today, I can say that there is no quality or "care" at Suderman's.When I got my first vehicle, there was an issue that caused the battery to short out on nearly a monthly basis. The mechanics at Suderman's swore they couldn't find the problem; after it stalled at a shop in midland, a random man (with more knowledge than everyone at Suderman's combined) walked over, lifted up the hood, and found the cause was rusty connectors running to the battery in less than minute. Suderman's had replaced two batteries in this truck in the span of four months.My second vehicle had all sorts of problems with it, which, after today, I really wonder if there were problems or if the mechanics at Suderman's just thought I was a money pit. I had ten starters replaced, one heating system replaced, and an exhaust system replaced.Move onto my third vehicle, which was purchased from Suderman's. In the first year, the front tires went bald - twice. By the second time I asked them to inspect it a bit closer, and they mentioned the alignment was so bad that the tires were balding. I asked them to fix it, paid for the fix, and then drove off happily.In the six years I've owned that vehicle, I've replaced the front set of tires at least 12 times.To make matters worse, I have trouble believing they did half the "Repairs" to my vehicle that they promised.Crack in the reservoir that holds my windshield wiper fluid? A $200 fix that wasn't even attempted, and had to be fixed by another mechanic - which they did for free.A supposed "Crack in the head gasket" that was patched for $300? Ended up being a catastrophic leak in the entire coolant system for the engine. The Suderman's "fix" was to put more coolant in the engine and act like nothing was wrong.To make matters worse, I was told the frame of the vehicle was so rusted that I shouldn't expect to see the vehicle last "more than a year". After taking it into another shop to have it appraised, I found out the frame was in excellent condition, and the "rusted out panels" that one of the Suderman Sons told me about didn't exist.Don't go to Suderman's Car Care. They take the familiar connections they've made throughout the years for granted, and they see everyone as a money pit.Stay far away.

Great communication and reasonable prices. They replaced my wheel bearing, using a part I brought, for $200 and got it all done and tested in just a few hours. I will be going with them for all my repair needs.

When i when there Doug was very informative. Seemed like a great guy. Perfect example of over promise and under deliver. I made a appointment a month out. Brought it in, and he said he had to push the appointment back. He did this 3 more times. Mind you never called to tell me this, i had to call to verify the appointment, or waste my time going there to be told no. He then told me he would have it done in 2 days. 6 days later he still had not touched the car. They then quickly did a ok job over night on 60% of what they said they were going to do, but found other ways to charge me the same quoted price and i would have to come back as he found a part that had been ordered all of a sudden was damaged. I got the part back in and only took a week to get the part. I went though 9 weeks of putting me off basically telling me he had more important customers that always came before my quick job. Then when it did get painted both the paint person and installer told me they had painted it the wrong color. When i brought this to Doug's attention he began to blame me for not being happy with the job they did, and going off on me when his team pointed the issue out to me and it was a VERY noticeable difference. 3 weeks later they still did not repaint it, in this whole time never got a call, or apology. FINALLY Doug was on vacation, and i ran into another manager Cal. Cal could not believe the problem, and how long it took. He had me done, and installed in 2 days. While the paint work was ok, and you could see the ends where it had been repainted poorly blended, at least it was done. Do not deal with Doug, very disappointing.

Went in for a rear end replacement on my 97 Silverado and when I got it back they only hand tightened all the u-bolts didn't find out till I drove it all the way to cedarville Michigan and from that it destroyed my transfer case and had to pay a UP mechanic to fix their mess up

They seemed to be very honest with me. They could have charged me for a service for something that I thought was wrong with my vehicle but it turned out to be something minor. They spent 20 minutes looking into it and didn't end up charging me anything. I'll be back.

Have had Suderman's Auto do extensive body work as well as a complete repaint and am happy to recommend them to anyone I can. True professionals and the best around!!! A+++ "Thanks Guys"

Excellent work performed and friendly. Just an update the fender you painted about 2 years ago is rusting and bubbling. It looks worse than the other fender that was painted 15 years ago by Chrysler.

SUDERMANS CAR CARE has done some body and paint work on my 2010 red Camaro so skillfully that nobody can tell, and I will soon be engaging them to repair scuff marks from other drivers in parking lots.
