I was referred here by Bell Tire after a cracked fly wheel. I am grateful for Kevin and the staff at Quality Transmission because they did good work for a fair price. Dealing with vehicle repairs can be so stressful, but I was comfortable trusting this shop with my car. Definitely recommend.

My experience with Quality Transmission and Auto was great! Not only were they quick to diagnose the problem, but they were also able to get me in early and came in under what they initially quoted for the same service! Very fair on pricing and they do good work that they stand behind.I normally work on my own vehicles but if there's a job I don't want or have the time to do I'll find a place to drop my vehicle off. We had a transmission go out on our Ford Fiesta and we were able to source a used transmission and had Quality Transmission install it, replace the clutch, and resurface the flywheel. We paid around $1k for the transmission, clutch, and labor which imo was totally worth it.We had an issue with the newly installed transmission leaking from the axleshaft seal which we paid to have them replace which, again, was reasonable. A number of months later the leak returned, I brought the car to them again, and they took care of it free of charge since the same seal had pushed itself out. They could have easily tried to blame the used transmission or axleshaft but instead replaced it and refilled the transmission with fluid (which for my car is about $25 a quart alone). If it happens again I'm sure something else is to blame but I appreciate them standing behind their work and not immediately trying to sell me on additional parts and services.Previously, myself and others had good experiences when we needed a transmission rebuilt. Pricing was always reasonable especially if you pulled the transmission yourself. That was probably 10+ years ago but that's why I bring anything that needs transmission work to Quality Transmission.

Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain what the issue is. He takes the time to explain what the options are, WHY they may or may not be needed, and gets everything done for an honest price. Anne-Marie is always extremely polite and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

Being that I travel for work, my vehicle never breaks down until I am out of town.I asked some of my customers, and people that I ran into at restaurants, gas stations..etc.. here in Midland, where I should take my van for a honest quote and a trustworthy garage. Unfortunately nobody had a place they could recommend.For the simple reason that Quality Transmission was close to where I was working, and my hotel.. I took my van here for auto repair.Kevin was very courteous and worked around my schedule. They were able to repair it the same day for less than the initial estimate, as well as $25 less than the computer generated "cost estimate".I give them a very high recommendation, being a single woman traveling out of town for work... this would have been a perfect opprotunity for a less than reputable shop to take advantage of the situation.The only thing that would make me give this shop a better review is if they were closer to where I live.

I was heading home, to southern michigan, when my "check engine" light came on. I stop and a mechanic helped me and I was on my way.The awesome part was my air conditioning hadn't work in a long time and I really didn't want to pay the money other places wanted to fix it, which was close to $500.This mechanic said all I needed was a new spark plug. Was having trouble with my transmission and my son had went to this place so I took my car there and they had diagnosed the problem right away, but had to wait for parts. But as soon as they were in they fixed it and I had it back and so far it's running great. Would recommend.

Rebuilt transmission lasted 600 miles past warranty so I guess if you get a good warranty you should use them but if not I wouldn't.

Very good place Kevin the owner took my truck in right away and came back and told me what was wrong before doing anything further to it. Did not charge me a dime . good people and good service.

Terrible experience mananager Kevin hung up on me anday after they released our tahoe to us the ball joint collapsed if we were on the highway we could have died our 1 yr old baby my husband's finger got smashed and they don't care

Got car trouble? Won't start? Or go in Gear? Take it to Quality Transmission and they'll diagnose it for you. Tell you what's wrong with your vehicle and go from there all based on what you tell them you want done.
