Went in there today with a much needed muffler repair on a Toyota van. They got me in right away thankfully, fixed it up better than the dealership could do. Guys at the counter were nice and professional. Absolutely no complaints at all.Cost was very reasonable as well.

Went in and asked to have my exhaust fixed. Talked to Mitch and asked him not to weld anything because I have to do some other repairs. He took apon himself to weld everything and not very good at all. I do believe Stevie Wonder could've done a better job. Then he charged me $100 for 8 inch piece of exhaust pipe that looks life it was a scrap piece that has been laying around. I will not be coming back or sending anyone there.Service: Exhaust

Took my '79 Blazer with a 427 big block here for 3" pipes from the mufflers back and they did a great job! Nice bends, tips were cut awesome behind the back tires and they kept it tight to the body so I could lower it more in the future. Quick service and very reasonable price. Will be back again!

My hummer needed a cv joint replacement and everywhere I called said $800+ and they had a 2week wait. Muffler man in midland got my hummer in immediately and had it fixed in a matter of hours. Only charged me $300 witch was music to my ears!!! They had my vehicle done quick even while working on others cars:) very happy with my experience here and will Definitely return!Service: General repairs & maintenance

*update 2024* same great work as always*wrote around 2020* We always did our own auto work, but if we were in over our heads, we had been coming here for 30 years. The owner seems like a great guy, I've never had problems with the quality of their work, and their pricing is reasonable.

Came in to have my muffler repaired so my car would stop waking up the neighborhood. They were able to get me in quickly, the repair took ~20-30 minutes, and it was about ~$75 (I had a pretty small hole). Staff was pleasant, I would go back.

These guys are very honest and straightforward about what is wrong with your vehicle, what it will take to get repaired, and what the cost will be. They don't play games, they fix what needs to be fixed and point out other things that could be beneficial to have done. If you want to know that you aren't being ripped off this is the place to have your vehicle serviced in the Midland area.

Have always been well cared for here in the past, but this was exceptional service.My wife had some muffler issues in the morning and I was unable to look at the car until later in the afternoon.I dropped the vehicle off to Muffler Man around 4, received a call back around 5:30 saying that they would have the car fixed and ready to go by the morning.Found out that one of the service techs stayed late to have the vehicle ready asap.The car was ready to be picked up first thing the next morning.Thank you for the exceptional service!

Had a sudden problem with my muffler that needed to be taken care of quickly. They were able to get my car in right away without and appointment and take care of it within an hour for a good price. Would return to this shop and would recommend it as well.

These guys are fast and do there job with minimal instruction. I dropped my truck off and told them roughly what I wanted. They said they would take care of it. Later that day they called to verify and a couple hours later called that it was done. It was a custom job and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. They also aren't the type to try to upsell you. I know this because when I took mine in I thought they would have to replace more than they did , and they called me to let me know they could salvage a bunch and save me money (which is more difficult then just running new pipe the whole way.

My car's muffler started getting noisy over the past week. Called first to make an appointment, but they don't do appointments. First-come-first-serve. So, I dropped it off early in the morning (8:30). They had it in the garage before my ride came to pick me up and within 20 minutes had called to tell me what they'd found. They gave me my options from the low-end to high-end options. I chose the middle ground and they let me know up front how much it would cost (cost was what I was expecting). They had it repaired within 2 hours of dropping it off and they fixed the problem! Overall extremely satisfied and will do business with again. All of the employees were friendly.

I've had some good experience here but however I hesitate to come back.There was multiple things fixed on my 2009 Malibu which I was told was the problem and each time it still was there. Finally they told me the engine mount was bad and was looking at around 600 bucks if I'm remembering right.I took it to another mechanic whom discovered it was a bad sway bar link etc, and came out so much cheaper.Problem solved and I was able to sell it to a happy customer.I lost out on a sale with a buyer because I had them meet me at muffler man after it was supposed to be fixed and it wasn't, was highly embarrassed.

Took my Focus in to have a piece of flex pipe welded in. The competitors down the road quoted me at $1000! These fellas took care of me for $150. Im not a scientist, but im pretty sure thats like 6x cheaper. They got me in right then and there and I picked my car up within a few hours.Very pleased.

I brought my car in today for an exhaust leak that was SO loud that my husband (who doesn't even drive my car) made me bring it in... Now it's so quiet that I'm jumping for joy! I was so glad that the cost was as reasonable as it was because that was my worst worry. Thank you Muffler Man!

Honestly disappointed now. I thought I'd liked it, but these guys are very unprofessional. They put my tailpipe on the wrong way and it was smashing against the underbody of my SUV. When I brought it in so they could fix it, I heard the one talking bad about how it was because I had a broken shock (which I'd already replaced that prior weekend) and was blaming it on that.. telling the other guys it wasn't their fault. Once he got into it, he immediately knew the truth, he was just being lazy and claiming it wasn't their fault. I also heard them talking extremely inappropriately and heard the one describing his pooping habits in a immature manor.

I will never return to this business. I called to receive an estimate on a repair and was given an amount of $150 and was told they would beat any price. I also called 5 other places, they had the lowest price. So I called the following day and tried to set up an appointment for the part to be replaced, I was informed to come in any time they were not busy and that when asked the part was in stock. I said is 9am open and was informed yes, just come in. I came in, I felt like I had to force the information on the desk guy: this is what needs fixed, this was the price quoted, here is my name and number, etc. I received a phone call an hour and 15 minutes later and was told that yes that part needed fixed and here is the price which is $100 more than the quote. (Now i understand it was a quote, but an extra $100 is pretty steep when told they would price match.) I said hold on I am coming in and would like to talk about this. (I was across the street trying to keep my child entertained.) The guy who called me is nowhere to be found but the original on the phone guy is there. I was told the first estimate was his best guess and that when I called back to set up the "appointment" he guesses he should of looked it up. "But if I wanted a quality part, I needed to spend the money" I informed him that the dealership could get that part for half the price and was told "supply and demand" "but if I wanted to get the part for that price he could slap it on there for the original estimate". So I asked why it took so long for them to put my car up, take it apart and them tell me something I ALREADY KNEW! (especially because I brought it in to be fixed for the quoted price) I was informed that they only put it up on the hoist to look at it and could tell. Really, like that is helping you guy. At that point I asked for my car back. He pulled my car out and I put my child in and left. In the car I realize that they smoked in it, (now I do not smoke if you do fine, its your life but don't smoke in my car) so now the car, car seat, stroller all stink of cigarette smoke. Thank you Muffler Man I will not ever be returning to your business and if I hear from you ever again it better be because you are apologizing and are paying for my car to be detailed-SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I called the Muffler Man to get a baseline labor quote to replace a manifold gasket, they quoted me a price between $100 and $200, I was supplying the gasket. I brought the truck to them so they could see it, the price increased to $250. I hesitantly agreed to the price. I received a call the next day from the muffler man from a different person, did not have a clue what they were supposed to due with the truck, I explained what needed to be done and the quoted price, another guy got on the phone and stated that price was going to be more, a minimum of $300 labor, and the labor price was open ended. I realize that estimates are only estimates, but this is ridiculous. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLES TO THE MUFFLER MAN AGAIN, and I WILL BE SURE TO INFORM ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THANKS MUFFLER MAN!

I took my van in today and Mitch replaced my muffler and pipes as well as did an oil change. It was quick and reasonable in price. I highly recommend!!

went here because of an exhaust issue gentleman wasn't even willing to look at our vehicle until the next day and that was only if he could get to it even after we explained that we don't know anyone here he just insisted we come back and keep coming back until he found the time or we could just leave it for 2 or 3 days until they could get to it I personally ran a mechanics shop for a few years THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO BUSINESS but thanks to their unprofessionalism I was able to find another shop that was able to fit us in and let me tell you the service was a whole lot better (professional) don't waste your time goin here
