The room was very homey, comfortable, and kept super clean. The staff (especially Sara) were some of the nicest people I've ever encountered while staying at a hotel/motel. The view located right behind the motel down a little trail is gorgeous. The only downside is that it's located in the middle of nowhere essentially and you have to travel 5+ miles in either direction to get food or supplies. The steakhouse that was about 18 miles away had absolutely delicious food though! But this also lends to the fact that it's extremely quiet there which is always a plus. My husband and I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the woods!

A rural area motel with very clean room. The hosts are really kind. It's not very spacious, but large enough for two of us. Heater and hot water worked well. The bed is on softer side. Internet is probably through satellite, so it's quite slow, which is only good for texting and check emails, but not for streaming videos, uploading pictures/videos smoothly. The breakfast is simple, but adequate. The best part is the dark sky. As the area is quite rural, the back of the motel is very dark at night. We were lucky to have a clear sky for that night, and was able to see the milky way. The sheer amount of stars were amazing. My headlight turned out useful for that occasion when we walked into the woods area. Once I turned off the light, I could not even see my friend a few feet away. The stargazing was definitely a highlight when we stayed there.

The room was super cozy and had all the plug in/USB s one could desire and clean comfy beds but talk about customer service. The gal/owner at the front desk has to be one of the nicest and easiest to talk to people we ve ever met. The little breakfast seating with coffee/juice and snacks was wonderful as well. Thanks for all the tips on where to head next!

Very friendly staff! We put our arrival time at 6, buy ended up having car problems and wouldn't make it until 1:30am. They were so accommodating, and helped us get our room still. Our room was clean, and it was a great place to stop on our way through to our destination. I would definitely stay there again. For being right off the road it was surprisingly quiet. The rooms were a little out dated, and simple, but we didn't need anything more than that! It was nice to walk in to a clean room and not Have to worry about cleaning anything or dirty bedding. . Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Set out of the way in Three Rivers this is a small family-owned hotel. Only 12 rooms. Very clean. Amazing staff and owners. They worked with me when my arrival time was delayed past their desk closing. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel! Rooms are pretty standard, microwave, fridge, TV, wifi... Can I just say the water is HOT! Nice hot water for the shower. Only a 45-minute drive to NMU in Marquette. There is no air conditioning but didn't need it. They have a great fan in the room that works wonders with windows open. 10 out of 10, will stay again!

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere. If all you want to do is sleep then that's fine. But if you think you're going to get to the hotel, and then go find a place to eat, the answer is nope. A simple grab and go breakfast with muffins and coffee is offered the next morning. Room is clean but small. The bathrooms are impossibly tiny. The lady was friendly however, and waited up for us.. apparently the office closes between 9:00 to 9:30, so make sure to be there prior to that time . t's literally a spot along the road.

Very nice, clean motel. Little pricy for not having AC in the rooms. Was very nice, clean rooms updated and had a nice bed. Would recommend staying here over some of the larger corporate places.

We were looking for a clean place to spend the night. We weren't disappointed. The room was nicely done. Comfortable bed and a nice touch of years gone by and modern features. While there wasn't a/c there was a fan that kept us cool while providing white noise to block out traffic noise. The owner are second to none for hospitality. They even called us to let us know we left a couple if items.I highly recommend three lakes hotel.

My cousin and I had such a lovely time with our three night stay here at this lovely, family owned motel in the heart of Moose and Bear country, porcupine mountains and other national and State Forests, campgrounds and parks. They were absolutely such lovely hosts and the rooms were updated, bed is super comfy, they have a fan in the room if you're like me and need white noise to sleep , a mini fridge and microwave. Highly recommend!!

The service was above and beyond the best we have ever had at a roadside motel. The service was very friendly and went above what any one would do. The power went out and we had a wedding to go to. The manager was so kind to provide me a hand fan. It worked great for when I needed it for. We highly recommend anyone to stay here. The rooms very clean and the decors fits the ambiance of the area.

We just stayed 4 nights, and I have no complaints. The room was small, but very accommodating, as reflected in the price. It was extremely clean, the mattress super comfy, and the service was incredibly friendly. I will stay again!

Cute, family owned and operated motel along 41 through the Northwoods of the Upper Peninsula. Not very many lodging options this far north but this place has a lot of charm and warm touches. The rooms were very clean and the shower was perfect after a long drive. Well situated from Copper Harbor where the Isle Royale ferry takes off. Easy drive in the morning from the motel to the boat.

Wonderful stay! Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and they have a nice little "grab and go" breakfast selection. Very reasonable rates, will be back again soon!

This is a hotel pretending to be a motel! From the outside, the layout is clearly a motel. The office is nice and you could see where breakfast snacks were located. We received our classic motel key, and that's where everything changes! The room is very tidy, and the room has outdoor motifs. The linens very clean. The bathroom is well stocked and again very tidy. There is nothing outdated about the place. We highly recommend staying here, we certainly will stay again in the future!

Cozy little motel (but really has all the things a hotel room has) located in a remote part of the UP. Newly remodeled. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff/owners. Coffee, juice, granola bars, and muffins for breakfast. The bathrooms are tiny, but the towels are thick, and they come stocked with standard hotel shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, and a hair dryer. You get some traffic noise, as it's right off the highway, but that's to be expected. Over all, a great value.

Six of us stayed here for two nights and we loved it. They let us park our Harley's under their canopy and that says alot. Rooms were wonderful, comfy and even though no AC the nights were cool and with windows open was lovely. Owners were fantastic and very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend this place

I stayed at the Three Lakes Motel for one night and was pleasantly surprised! I could tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their business. My room was clean, basic (in a good way) and affordable. There were even a few little touches that made this a cut above other motels. For example, they offered coffee and breakfast snacks. The motel key also had a little flashlight on it, which I thought was clever. Skip the corporate chains and book a room with these folks!!

The woman who runs it is so nice and extremely helpful navigating the area. Pretty updated furniture and all the pros of this place out way any cons you can t think of. It s about halfway between pictured rocks and agate beach witch was two main destinations we were here for. There are also some great hiking places and water falls to explore near by. 10/10 we had a great time.

This place is great! Stayed here with my boyfriend after a long week of camping/hiking, and found this place when we needed somewhere to rest up for the long drive home the next morning. The rooms are so cute and clean; would have spent more nights there if we could! The staff was also very kind. Would definitely recommend this place!

Friendly staff, clean and updated rooms, has a microwave and fridge, direct tv so you get lots of channels, bed and pillows were comfortable. Way better than anything we expected to find. Only thing I didnt like is I'm not used to the noise of the heating system they have so it woke me up a few times in the middle of the night. In hindsight I could have played white noise on my phone and probably slept fine

This motel is really nice and clean, and is in an area where there is much else. The Staff is really friendly. I had to stay here for work and I got good nights of sleep. It's pretty quiet here. There is a Restaurant and bar next door, which is worth visiting for the home cooking.
