When using any mechanic, the customer should always get a call and agree to the work and price before proceeding. Dean did not do this. When I tried to talk to him about it, all he kept repeating was he will just take it all off then. No customer service, no heads up on added repairs, no future work from him for me or my family. Just sad how he did business.

Very accommodating and fit me into his schedule. I needed new snow tires and he not only found me the perfect set for my vehicle but his pricing was better than Discount Tire in Traverse City! He takes his time explaining repairs and concerns with me and gives me honest feedback on when services need to be preformed knowing my budget. Dean is great! He will tell you if the vehicle is safe to drive/ doesn't hold it hostage for days before he can get parts. He's worked on my cars for over 3 years and my parents cars for over 2. I was driving home early this morning from a weekend up north when my engine light came on and my car told me my oil was low. Feeling nervous driving it any further I immediately started looking for auto shops around me, and THANK GOD I found Dean's! He was there earlier than 8 when I pulled up. And immediately started helping me. He checked my oil, which was low, and then proceeded to take my car into the shop to check the cap on the car to make sure there were no leaks. He filled the oil for me and showed me how to check the oil again once I got further out. At the end I went to pay and he told me no charge, that he understood what it probably felt like to be in my position. I could not recommend him more! He was seriously a lifesaver for me today! Please go check him out! He is one of a kind! There are kind people in this world and he is one of them!

Professional service by a top notch mechanic with great knowledge and a whole bunch of common sense. Very detailed inspection for safety regardless of whatever repairs and not pushy about sales Dean's main concern is for the customer first and foremost. I've lived in the Mesick area for 31 years. I have horror stories from going to other mechanics in Traverse, Cadillac and Mesick. Finally, I have peace of mind when it comes to a mechanic I can trust. Dean's Auto won't give you any BS. The owner is up front and knowledgeable. Dean s did an excellent job on some auto body repairs to my truck. This was completed in a very timely manner. They coordinated a loaner car for me and even washed and detailed my truck prior to me picking it up. Ross was very helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend!!

Awesome customer service and fair pricing. Had to get my control arm replaced and these guys had me in and out in a little over an hour. All without making a formal appointment. If you ever need some repairs done in the mesick area I would definitely give Dean's a call.
