Lies and a $6400 smoke show. Lies from everyone from Zeb to the technicians. Avoid at literally all cost unless you like spending money just to feel good about spending money.Edit: Still finding more problems with their work every other week.

Had my brakes replaced here awhile back, and paid a fortune for it, a couple weeks later, had to go back and get them replaced again, I was told my calipers were installed wrong. I ve been having brake trouble since, my brake fluid level would go down drastically, and had to keep adding more, but no visible leak. After getting my brake lines inspected elsewhere, I was told that they were not installed correctly, which was causing the leak.Not to mention that every mechanic I talked to quoted me over 400$ less than what they charged me for a brake job.

TLDR:they charged me almost twice as much as they quoted and didn't fix my issueMade an appointment here stating that my car is leaking transmission fluid and likely needs a new seal. They replaced a filter, and some other minor stuff first stating it might fix it (to which i asked them to please just replace the seal) later they called and said it had stopped leaking. Well when i came to pick the car up, they charged me $280 instead of the $160 they quoted, and said to come back if it's still leaking. It is still leaking but i will never go back to this shop. Similar thing happened to a coworker of mine here.

Any of these reviews that are negative are absolutely ridiculous. I called and got an appointment the NEXT DAY. My truck had not run right for over a year. I took it to multiple places and none of them could fix it. Silas fixed it THAT DAY. It was extremely fairly priced and my truck now runs better than it did when I bought it. Wow! This is a great family business, honest and upfront, skilled, and fully engaged in doing whatever it takes. This is how it should be done. We were on vacation 9 hours from home with a rented camper that was due back in 2 two days, and had other appointments and obligations, when our (rare, diesel) van broke down. These guys fit us in when others quoted us days or weeks, and got us on the road to home in time. Great job to all: Conner, the wonderful young man (Silas and Sarah's son) who dealt well with my repeated phone calls, Sarah and Silas who run a great operation. A special shout out to Nick whom I think actually did the wrench work. Great job! I wish they were near our home, I'd have found my new mechanics. If we're ever in Marquette again, I will stop by just to say "hi."Service: Engine repair

My Subaru dash lit up like a Christmas tree on my way to work this morning. A friend of mine recommended I go over to Silas. They were busy when I arrived, but they fit my car in. With an oil change, the bad switch, and replacing 5 light bulbs the grand total was under $150! Everyone I talked to there was super nice and they saved me a rental car cost by fitting me in. I ll be taking my Subaru back to them from now on. Really can t say enough good things about them!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I would leave zero stars if possible. DO NOT take your vehicle here! They were unable to ever explain the services needed or an accurate estimate. After paying 1700 the car would not start. Took another 800+ more to get our car back and it took 2 weeks! They only take cash and now I know why, people would stop payments. Finally got the car and somehow the subwoofer is fried! Worked fine when we left it 2 weeks ago. You have been warned.

Very happy with Silas and his crew. Diagnosis is always quick and accurate. Costs are very reasonable. Wish I could hire them for Subaru warranty issues I'm having instead of the dealership.

This review has nothing to do with EQ Muffler, I love those guys.I took in a rear axle to my 4 Runner, with the seal and bearing so they could press them on for me. A job I was told that would take a day to do.10 days later they finally managed to get it done. Absolutely no excuse for this since they owned the axle tool and press and it only takes about an hour to do.Not even an apology for taking so long.Never again will I go back, for anything.

They explained things without talking down to me. They gave me enough information to decide what to repair on my car. No pressure. My questions were answered cheerfully. Prices were upfront and low.They take only cash and checks.

They explain everything they need to do first. Low hourly rate not like the other shops around town. Great guy in general, he actually knows what he is talking about. Also a great way to throw ideas around with for upgrades and advice.
