Linke's body shop has handled my claims to have my vehicle fixed after deer jump in front of me. Rick and the staff are always welcoming and very nice. Anytime I had a question they were there to answer it. I highly recommend this establishment.

Linke Body Shop to the rescue!After a very long and frustrating ordeal with my dealers service Linke s made it all right.I was told by a dealer my frame got bent. And need a frame shoot to fix my nearly new 2022 Jeep Gladiator.After searching for help, Links replaces my fender and took a look at the frame as the also found it unlikely that this small of an impact ( barley broke my fender light) would bend my frame.They re-aligned my steering and fixed the problem! No bent frame, that I could of spent thousand trying to fix.Thank you Links for going about and beyond replacing my fender!Service: Body & Trim

They are a friendly bunch and their work is quality, however, they're overly beaurocratic policies don't work for customers, they work for Linkes. I took my truck in for an accident paint job repair and they refused to paint it because they felt there was a manufacturing flaw in the paint job causing the paint to peel excessively, so they wanted me to add 300 bucks extra for an entirely new bumper. Their concern was that their paint job wasn't going to adhere because the bumper was not primed correctly (mind you, it's a 2016 and has had no issues prior). I told them to send me pictures of the part of the bumper that was peeling, and they sent me the sanded down part of the bumper that was affected by accident, and I could see that the paint was laminated and successfully adhering at the margins of the sand job. What appeared to be delaminating was the back side of the bumper at the mounting brackets; this is not primed by the manufacturer, as it is a non-critical surface area. If you read Toyota specs, the primed areas are, at minimal, 3 inches from the top of the bumper down the back. The rest of the bumper is not primed. The reason the entire bumper is painted, is because it's cheaper for Toyota to send the entire bumper down the paint line rather than spend the time and overhead to tape it off. The absence of, and the delamination of, paint in these areas does not hold bearing to the function or aesthetics of the bumper. How do I know? I was a jr engineer for Shape Corp in Grand Haven, MI for 10 years who specifically stamps and paints bumpers for Toyota. I argued my point with Linkes, but they wouldn't take my professional opinion and deviate from policy. I was so confident in my knowledge that I even told them it's OK to not provide warranty to the paint job, they still refused the job unless I replace the entire bumper. I had no other choice as it took me 4 months to get it in, so a 3 day job turned into 7 days; they were kind enough to cover my weekend car rental as the bumper didn't arrive on time, but still... I'm out several hundreds of dollars so they can protect THEIR time and interest. And I know I'm female, but I do have an engineering degree and over 10 years in automanufacturing, specifically bumpers and paint specs. If I, or my insurance, says to just paint the spot where the accident violated the paint job then paint it, we dont care about the rest of the bumper. They caused me more harm and damage from an accident that wasn't even my fault.

Excellent experience. They will take the time to explain the process and what to expect. Best of all they have a puppy in the office!!!! Everyone is just super nice. A great family owned business that makes you feel like you are there for a visit.

0 STARS!!! DO NOT COME HERE!! SAVE YOURSELF SOME STRESS! I can NOT stress how HORRIBLE this place is! The manager is honestly the RUDEST PERSON I have EVER met!!1. They would tell me that my car was ready and when to come and pick it up. When I went there, Nope its not ready. And they NEVER apologized!!2. They called me on my work phone during work!!!! And they DEMANDED that I pay them because I was holding their check. Which was true because THE OWNERS WIFE told me that it was fine if I held it until the car was done, so I did just that.3. He was SO RUDE that he made me start to shake, and I was sick to my stomach I had to take something to calm myself!!!4. He claimed that I held the check because I didn't trust him, and he said that he wasn't going to fall for that 'again', he ordered a decal to put on the car and he says that once we bring the car back to have the decal be put on he will keep it until we pay him!5. He ordered the decal without asking us, and now EXPECTS us to pay it!?!?! WHY?!?!? He ordered it without asking and now treats me like this?!? He can keep his sticker!!!! PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!

I could've sworn that I left a review on here a long time ago, but apparently, I didn't. Linke's is my one and only go to place for any sort of body work. They've replaced several windshields for me over the years and also fixed up my fenders a few times when I was hit. They also corrected paint that was sprayed over the original coat from the factory assumingly when it was at the auction, and it started peeling off and looked terrible. They did such a fantastic job; I couldn't even tell it was a repaint after they were done because it blended in so well and looked much nicer. Rick and Nicky treat me like family and always help make a sometimes-bad situation not hurt as much with their cordial personalities and friendliness. If I was in an accident out of town, I would pay to be towed back in just to have my vehicle repaired by them because there I know it'll be done right and treated like it was their own.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I hit a deer last fall and I immediately took my truck to Link's for the repair. They did me a good service as I had to leave for s. Texas which is home for me. When I got home I noticed that there was paint chipping on the parts they painted. I immediately contacted Mike about the problem and sent them some pictures of the damage. They told me that when we I got back to Michigan to bring it into them. I did that. Mike looked it over and said he would get back to me. And never heard from him again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This place is shady when it comes to insurance claims, he wants a open check and when that doesnt happen he tells you to take your vehicle somewhere else and blames it in your attitude Dont take your repairs here. When you cant work with a insurance as popular as State Farm who do you deal with? This place is not legit and has lots of one star reviews

Linke s made my car look brand new. Everyone was so kind and helpful. They came highly recommended to me, and I m so glad I took my vehicle to them. I d recommend them to anyone as well. It feels great doing business with a small business. Grateful for their work!

Great work, Great prices, I had a wonderful experience at Linke's! Staff is very nice and respectful. They did the best they could to find a matching part for my car and the closest part found was a slightly different color, but they painted it for me to match my car's color code and it looks Perfect and at an affordable price! Thank you Rick, Michael and everyone else at Linke's for your hard work and dedication! I would definitely recommend!

Don't take your vehicles here, the guy wants to fix with no estimate. Than refused to work on my car after two weeksHe first called and said state farm was to difficult to deal with than said it was my attitude after two weeksThis is the most unorganized and mixed up place I ever dealt with.Don't take your business here, I hear Gerber is a much better choiceService: Auto engine diagnostic

I stopped by at the end of the day just to get a quote to fix the door on my girlfriend's car after a deer collided with the side of it. Upon walking in the office I was impressed how nice and clean everything one (and there's a dog! Bonus points). The owner, Rick (I believe was his name) came out to give me an estimate just to get the door sealing and shutting properly as cosmetics are not a worry on said $1,000 car. He proceeded to grab some tools and start mending pieces where they should go. Less than 10 minutes later I was all set to go with no charge for his time. Very well spoken and was a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely be back if I need any serious body work done. Quality service with a smile, can't get any better than thatService: Body & Trim

I had to have repairs done after being hit on my drivers door, pretty good size gouge. I took it to links for repairs. They did a perfect job and the paint job was perfect. You wouldn't know anything happened. I would 100 % recommend Linkes for your repairs. They are fair and honest

Linke's Body Shop is the best body shop around! I can honestly say they are ALWAYS very friendly and take the time to explain their quote if needed. Their work is top-notch! It's also nice to know that the work is being done here locally and not being shipped elsewhere to be repaired. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else!

Went to another collision place and they were going to charge me 2700, Linke s is fixing it for 700. Made me feel appreciated and respected. Got the best deal for me and is family owned and fair. I would recommend this to anyone else in the greater north/west Michigan area. I live in Charlevoix and I will hands down drive down to Manistee s Linke s for any auto needs in order to receive quality service and a fair price.

I wasn't appreciative of their efforts! Doing your job should be a minimum requirement. Their set up for a rental, recommending a towing to show up and handling a disgruntal customer was too much for the staff to handle. I was told to take my business else where, so I did. I guess I hit a nerve!

Locally owned and operated family business that is a landmark in Manistee. Quality craftsmanship performed by the most honest and reputable car repair people you will ever meet. Make sure you include them when you are soliciting quotes for your auto repair. You won't be sorry.

The Linke Family is honest and very knowledgeable in their trade. Quality work at a fair price. As you know cheaper isn't always better. They stay ahead of the times with training their staff. THE place to go in Manistee for body work.
