This place is FANTASTIC. I brought my car in early in the morning before they opened and dropped my keys off. I needed a full check up on the vehicle but mostly, my brakes were the issue. Front routers and rear discs were replaced along with a couple other things. It wasn't the cheapest fix but it was worth it. Since they did a full check too, Steve gave me a list of others things that needed to be done eventually but the brakes were the most important. Since I got my car in so early they checked my vehicle out first thing and I got it back by the end of the day. I got off work around 4pm and when I got there, they were doing the final touches on the car. While I was waiting Steve went to the store and offered to buy me something to drink. The vehicle was complete shortly after and they showed me the old parts that they replaced and explained to me again what else needs to be done on the vehicle. The customer service was great. Steve and the one mechanic they had working (they were short staffed) were both really nice and helped me out so much. They were honest and overall a great experience. I would recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic in the Madison heights area to trust. Thank you for the work Wear Masters!

My check brake light had been popping up periodically while driving, never having that problem before, I started looking around for where to get my car looked at. I saw this place was highly rated and conveniently 5 minutes away from my house. I brought my car in and the manager manning the front desk, Steve, was very welcoming and helpful. I ended up needing my brakes replaced, and they were done by the end of the day! Very happy with the service provided and definitely plan on using them for future car troubles.Service: Brakes

Probably my new repair shop, these guys here are amazing. I came in for some issues I'd been having at other places and they took care of it without those same problems. And even though I'm a walk-in, they got me in & out so fast! Will definitely bring my car back here in the future :)

I ended up taking my car here because of all the positive reviews. We had taken my fianc�'s car to the Royal oak Wear Master but due to the + reviews I went here. WOW. What a fantastic experience. I told them to just tell me what is a "must do" for safety and they did a full safety inspection and gave me a few options for things that needed fixing. (It's an old car so I knew it would be multiple things.) I did the highest priority and they gave me prices over the phone for each repair. I am used to taking my car and leaving it at a Shop for days on end. But they finished my car in a day! When I go to pick up my car - it's the exact price they quoted. They are fair, super nice people, and did great work. Take your car here!! You will not be disappointed.

Steve and the mechanics here are excellent! I had to have some major work done, and Steve took the time to explain everything that was needed and answer all my questions. The price was reasonable, the work was done in a timely manner, and the vehicle is driving like new again!

Took my vehicle in due to steering wheel shaking at 70. Dropped it off at 4pm on a Tuesday. They said it might take til the next morning to get to it. working at a dealership myself, I expected a call the next morning with the results or just an update of what they would be doing. After 1 PM on Wednesday, I finally called them to get an update. The clueless man up front mentioned they did a full inspection and found nothing wrong with the vehicle. He mentioned it could be my wheel and tire which they do not do. (as an experience mechanic, if I m telling you, my wheels are shaking at 70 you would think they would mention we don t do tire and wheel here, but failed to do so ) And to take it to a tire shop. He then told me it would be $55 for an inspection even though they could not fix it , I do not recommend this place due to lack of communication as well as the lack to fix the actual problem and then charge me $55 to tell me that it shakes at 70. I will not be taking any of my vehicles back to this establishment again, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone I know.Services: Auto water leak repair, Vehicle Inspection

Excellent exhaust system inspection and repair job, affordable prices, confidence in their job (through their 1-year warranty), and great customer experience! Here are the details:Had noise coming from exhaust in my Ford Escape 2012. The dealer "suspected" that the flex pipe was replaced by solid pipe (which is hard to believe, since I've bought my car in 2014 -car was only 2 years old- and no such exhaust system work is done afterwards). This Wear Master shop correctly refuted that after their inspection. Steve clearly communicated what specifically the issue is, and laid down the fix options and costs. Ended up with installing a new muffler and resonator assembly with gasket and hardware, less than half what the dealer quoted All of that is excellently done in the same day, with me leaving the shop very satisfied with my car without the exhaust noise.Secondly, I've asked them to replace the wipers blades. They showed quick turn around to get the right fit, to install. Now, I have nice and smooth wipers on the front and rear.My car is my baby, and Wear Master is now my baby's clinic absolutely recommending them to family and friends.Finally, thanks Steve & Wear Master team!Service: Exhaust

Steve and one of his technicians was amazing. I asked about my exhaust and he took me under my car and showed me it was good and we found an oil leak. Has great jokes and didn t talk down to me. I had an amazing experience with this company. I called early Saturday morning for a muffler repair on my sons car. They got us in, called me with an update and had it serviced within a couple hours. Very friendly, affordable and honest! We will definitely be back!

Car wouldn't start. Steve gave me the number to a reliable Towing service. Got the work done same day and the owner Paul called me the next day to make sure everything was okay .They do good work and the prices they quote are reasonable

First I called at lunch and asked the mgr Steve if he could fit me in at 3pm and said he'd make it happen, and he did. Not only was I in and out in minutes, but the repair cost to fix the issue with one of my underbody my heat shields was next to nothing. Steve and Nick were excellent! I came in under a time crunch with needing quite a few repairs and they were able to do everything the same day for me. They were very kind, and understanding to my concerns on my car. These guys got me in on short notice to do a muffler repair, they also alerted me of a few other issues they spotted while the car was on the lift. Nick does top notch work and the manger Steve was super friendly and accommodating. Prices were fair. I'll definitely be back next time I need work done that I can't do myself.

My experience with Wear Master in Madison Heights was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had as a customer. They are very easy to talk to and transparent when you have questions. They are happy to explain the issue with your vehicle and in precise detail they'll explain how they're going to fix it. My interactions with customer-service have been extremely positive. I just wish that I found out about this shop sooner than I did. I will definitely tell friends and family about this place!

Wear Master was recommended to me by my brother in law and he had great things to say about Steve. I m glad I took his advice because Steve was super nice and helpful. Steve even checked to see how my car was doing after the repair which shows you the extra step they take for their customers! I got my car back the same day they said they would take a look too. Steve went above and beyond with my vehicle. I brought the vehicle in with 3 lights on. Knew something was going on with it. He called me the next day told me what was wrong with it. The only downfall wasn't on their side it was with the warranty coverage people didn't want to look into anything until Steve of course spent 45 minutes on the phone with them and finally got an answer. The best part was Steve and his staff called me and gave me updates on it almost daily. The brakes were bad the front right wheel bearings were bad. He even called me after I got home to make sure everything felt good.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Front desk service man was knowledgeable and very respectful and kind. When they had a line of cars to work on, he squeezed in my emergency and got me back on the road same day. I was very impressed by the service and treatment here. First time dealing with a mechanic that I didn't feel taken advantage of. I will be going back for more service as my vehicle needs more work. I will update after next visit.8/5/19 update:Took my car back for more service. These guys are amazing. One of them took the time to explain to me in detail how the link pins work. I didnt end up getting those replaced but they did fix my hub. I checked around and got much higher estimates elsewhere. Steve was again very helpful and took time to have me understand what was going on. Again, I am very satisfied with the service here and would recommend them to anyone with car troubles (or just maintenance). My car has close to 200,000 miles and things are starting to really wear down and break-- which is reasonable. I am confident this garage will fix what needs fixing and not recommend a bunch of work that may or may not need to be fixed.

Drove out from midtown on the recommendation of one of my co-workers and her telling me about their great VIP program prepaying for 4 oil changes/tire rotations/safety inspections for $80 is an unbelievable steal. The owner, Steve, was exceptionally friendly and we pleasantly chatted while the guys in the shop changed my oil and rotated my tires in about 20 minutes. Well worth the drive for me and in the event my car needs any work (likely given Michigan streets), this is where I'll come for sure. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

My exhaust pipe was loose in the bottom and I called lots of places to have it fixed, but no one responded to my calls except this place. The person picked up my phone call and said he can look at it and have it fixed as fast as he can. So, I took it to them and within 10 minutes fixed my issue and now my car is working at 100%. Very professional, very fast, nice place, nice people, and very very help.Service: Exhaust

Great manager Steve! Wanted to update my review. I had the Blue Grand Marquis you did an alignment on on labor day weekend! I must say i will definitely be recommending your shop to all my friends. Your new guy knocked it out of the park! Car rides so well and straight,amazing what an honest place can do for ya,so glad I came in. Thanks again Steve and I think Alex was the othe guys name. I went to see Steve to have my muffler checked out. Got my car up in 10 minutes and gave me no BS rundown of what was going on underneath. Had a new muffler on the way ASAP and even managed to salvage as much as he could to keep my parts costs down. Excellent service, really friendly in the lobby, 100% will come back.

Excellent service! Steve went above and beyond for me, even staying open late to complete the work on my Jeep so I could pick it up the same evening. He was very honest about what needed to be done and what didn t. Fair prices. I will definitely be back for car repairs in the future.

After I had my transmission replaced by another shop and that other shop messed up my exhaust, Wear Masters fixed the issues at fair prices. I felt comfortable here and I am confident these guys gave me the honest truth about my vehicle. They even allowed me to look at the issues. They practiced full transparency. 5 stars for honesty alone! But this also came with good service, knowledgeable staff.

Wear Master Madison Heights is the best choice. We called around different shops and Wear Master Madison Heights explained everything on how they would check out the brakes. We dropped off the car and got a fair and honest price. They did a super excellent job and we are very happy and will definitely go there in the future. Extremely happy with the new water pump I had put in my 2005 Yukon.Steve is a great guy with great integrity.Also a cool guy to swap car stories with.I will definitely be giving them my business when I can.I'd recommend them to anybody.

This is a great place. One of the managers named Steve is lovely to work with! He gave me an honest and fair price for the job. Something I don't find often these days is a honest mechanic shop. I will definitely be coming back!

This is the ONLY shop that I will trust any of my vehicles to be serviced. I mainly do the work on my car, bit when I don't feel like it, these guys are the go to. They're knowledgeable and very trustworthy. These guys truly care about your safety and are not just trying to upsell you. They work very efficient and reasonably priced their services. Again very trustworthy guys here.

Best mechanic shop i have been to. They always put there customers first. They treat you like family and they don't lie to you or use you. They tell you the truth straight up. I can't express how much joy they bring to my life. They have helped with through everything they even let you cry on there shoulders. Thanks Steve.
