The Madison Heights Costco Tire Center performed a seasonal tire swap on my vehicle which resulted in a tire with two large bubbles in the sidewall that were not previously present. This damage could have been incurred via tire impact moving the vehicle or accidental tooling damage. Either way, the damage was reported and documented prior to leaving the warehouse. No immediate action was taken; thus, the damage spread the following day and caused a flat tire. I reported this extension of the damage and the local Costco Warehouse, Costco Regional Corporate, and their third-party insurance denied all liability over face-to-face discussion, calls, and emails. This has left me with over $500 in expenses to cover on my own. I highly discourage others from allowing this tire center to service your vehicle. What was likely just an accident was not disclosed to the customer and denied. The service I received created a hazardous vehicle and unfair expenses. This location provides disservice, not service.

If I could rate this 0/5, I would. matter of fact if i could go lower i would. Worst service ive ever experienced as a member of 10 years this is absolutely unacceptable I purchased tires online which are the correct size for my car, and they refused to put them on because they were the "wrong size". I used their website and their make and model search to pick them out, and they wouldnt install them. after waiting 2 hours they told me to get a refund and get a different set and when i asked for the manager he came out and started arguing with me and threatened to kick me out of the store for shouting when I was civilly asking for compensation because I did not get them mounted nor did I get them balanced and I payed for nothing. By the way taking the tires without installation voids warranty. There was no room for negotiation. Also appointment times are extremely long. -100/5 DONT RECOMMEND DO NOT GO HERE. will not be coming back

I just called Costco cuz I bought my tires there and I have a flat and said I have a flat tire. When can I come in and they're like well. We're booked for the next 3 days. I said yeah but I have a flat. They don't care. They sign, come in and wait three to four hours and I might get in. Just heads up I have a flat lol. If you have a tire business and you want to take over this industry, just provide a service for people who have flats when they have a flat. Not 3 days down the road. If I find such a place I will report back to here so that everyone else who's getting subpar service will have a place to go

Customer service is mediocre at best. Went there last week, stood in front of the front desk for 5 minutes and nobody helped me. Went inside Costco, did some shopping and came back right after, stood in front of the front desk again, and when I was ready to leave, one of the gentlemen decided to ask what I was looking for. I needed to purchase a set of winter tires, and the customer associate's feedback was: "you cannot buy winter tires now, manufacturers don't start making them until later during the year". I drove to Belle Tire on 14 mile and purchased the tires the same day, had them installed two days after. I paid $150 more at Belle Tire, but still better than dealing with Costco's customer service.

Dont get HIGH and visit this store. first of all, they are busy and mean business. get the groceries pay the money get out, and dont be slow about it. Now, if you do get too high for this fast paced and high intensity store and find yourself lost in all the hustle and bustle be cool and follow these instructions!. try some samples. they are free and plenty.2.if you can hear your own heartbeat go to the fruit cooler. you may be overheating and need to cool down plus its fun to watch people pick out sort,ponder, touch all and eventually decide between 2 or more identical containers of strawberries and then carefully with much trepidation place it in their cart still unsure if they've made the right decision.3. Did you bring your card? check again. I know you showed steve at the gate but you probably already lost it stoney, so for god sakes check again.4. Head to the check out line and avoid self check out. You cant handle it in your condition. besides this is America and you are not putting up with that bullshizz.5load your food on the conveyor belt and give your card to susan to scan your membership.5. realise that you must have dropped your card outside the fruit cooler when you stupidly took it out.6 have a panic attack.7. spend alot of money. the cotco credit card has great cash back rewards but you gotta pay it off every month to make sure you avoid fees.8 DO NOT LOOSE YOUR EFFIN RECEIPT WHEN YOU GET 2 CHURRO A HOT DOG AND SODA ON THE WAY OUT!8. watch out for the Tire center as you head to your car. they honk and backup alot so dont get scared.9. wait in the world famous gas line at costo. second only to the gas shortages of 1973.10. it has been several hours and the dank is waring off. dont forget to pick up the kids from school at 3pm. hope you found the snack isle while you were there and stocked up.

Good but extremely busy, and couldn't get my spare back into the truck (pulley system). Of course when I got home it went up perfectly fine.

Hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The only thing they care about is making money. So much so that the assistant general manager Ruth asked me, if I could just ask someone to help me pay for the tire since as a graduate student I couldn t afford it, additionally telling me to just apply for the credit card. She told me this as I had tears in my eyes from frustration as I just purchased this car and Costco placed these tires on one month ago. She showed no empathy, not even an apology, just wanted me to find a way to pay for it. They told me they couldn t fix my tire that was purchased there one month ago and then proceeded to tell me I might need a new rim. They told me they couldn t find why I had a flat tire. Within one hour of going to belle tire in royal oak, they not only found a hole in my tire but they fixed it absolutely free even though the tires were purchased at Costco. I would not waste my time on the awful customer service here. Highly recommend belle tire in royal oak! Believe the one star reviews.

Don't waste your time here. Terrible experience. Stood in line for 10 minutes waiting and they tried telling me they can't do my tires because i was 15 minutes late to my appointment.... 15 minutes later they call me and say somethings loose so they can't do it anyways. 1 my tires are flat that's why I'm getting them replaced, 2 my struts are worn but fine and this does not cause issues with installing tires. 100% convinced their auto team doesn't want to work. Saw multiple of them walking around in the store but get told when I'm 15 minute late (because i was standing in line) that they're booked for the day when there's not a single car in their bay.On top of that tried to just take the tires and install myself and they said without installation that they are refusing to do i now have to pay $110 more.Freaking ridiculous and huge waste of time tred lightly.Returned entire order and am going to be cancelling my membership

Terrible experience. Had an appointment to install tires and was told it would take 1hour to 1 hour 10 minutes. It took 2 1/2 hours for installation. A half hour of that was after they called to say the car was ready. Very understaffed.

I wish I read the reviews before coming to this Tire Center. I had appointment at 2:00 pm. In a snow storm day, I managed to come at 2:12. The guy at front desk told me that he canceled my appointment at 2:11! I though that was a joke and kindly explained him the roads and weather were very bad outside, I had to drive slower than I expected. But he left and came back with his manager together with a stroke: saying I would have to wait 2+ hours for a service, as my appointment was no longer available. They rudely suggested me to book another day.

Disappointed very much! Why! 1st customer service sucks. I have changed four tires in this location and they have not done the balance in the car so it was vibrating at curtain speed limit. 2. I took the vehicle back in to the shop and still the same balancing issue and I think that they have not worked on my vehicle just left it there for an 1hr. Costco need better service or training how to treat customers with respect and learn how to have a conversation with the customer to understand there issue.

Very busy however you wouldn't know it by the way they take care of you. Refreshing to see polite, and patient service rendered these days. The crew tries very hard to make your day. I appreciate each one of the team members in the tire center, for taking care of my car. Great job Thank you!

It's really sad that I have to give 1 start to Costco. Employees were rude and wasn't accepting their mistakes. They overbooked themselves and told me to reschedule next day. Even though I had an appointment with them. Communication, manners weren't there. The supervisor wasn't helpful either. I wish I would have recorded because their words very easily.

Horrible customer service. They called me about switching all 4 tires instead of just 1 because of a hazard issue. I told them that I would come in and make a decision due to pricing; however, they went ahead and made the decision for me.

Multiple bad experiences1. Customer on phone is answered first when another customer is standing right in front and having conversation already.( another customer has to wait unnecessarily in between when phone rings )2. They won t take battery for core charge refund because they won t be able to find 3-5 year old purchase from Costco . so you have to carry your battery somewhere else for recycling . Also, they won t keep Costco battery back even you don t expect core charge refund.

Very nice employees. Since they require that tires are paid for before confirming they will have them, it would be really nice to be able to pay for them over the phone. It would have been much more convenient. Not a fraud issue since I am there in person to have them installed anyway.

The guys that work here are great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Had my car done in about 45 minutes and helped me out by working with me so that I didn t have to have my vehicle with a completely flat tire towed in. Highly recommend

I ordered a tire in Costco tire center Madison height on 08/20/2021.The manager talked very nice and took order.Manager confirmed me that, the tire will arrive on Wednesday and they will replace on the same day.When I call on Wednesday, the same manager talking very rude and saying wait till the tire comes. He is saying it may take 1 week or 1 month. He is giving me some bad options saying that go and replace your tire in other stores (not in Costco).Bad part in this is, the damaged tire I bought in Costco. It is not lasted even 30k miles. These people are selling defective tires on offers. Especially manager behavior is very rude. I am the member of the costco for many years. I strongly suggest don t go to Costco tire center in Madison Height.

I had to wait in store which was nearly three hours with my kids. I understand because I didn't have an appointment and it was due to an unexpected tire problem. But, the one star, is due to staff calling my dead cell, recording a voicemail and us sitting another 20 minutes until my 7 year old daughter asked someone who just happened to come back in the sales area. This is not my usual costco. I will not be returning.

I got the good tires in a great deal. If you buy tiers during the offer time you can save a lot. The only down side I had here is that, I have to wait more than 2 hrs to get my tires fixed even after booking an appointment.

I needed new tires asap but couldn't find any one to baby sit my babies. So packed the wagon, snacks diapers wipes and drinks. Off we go! I just did a walk in, they squeezed me in. 2 hours and a half later they were done. 5 stars is for squeezing me in. The long wait was expected. The wagon was for us walking to the nearby park which was a time killer and a much needed distraction.

Waiting time is unacceptable. Came to this costco tire shop at 9:55am. They open at 10am, I was 3rd person on the line. They Told me since I dont have an appointment its gonna take 2 hours. It's more than 4 hours now still not done checking with my car. So if you dont have appointment dont even bother to go there.

I never post reviews. Very disappointed. I bring my car for tire replacement. THEY broke my wheel lock in the process and placed fault on whoever last put the wheel lock on too tight . They won t replace the wheel lock nor give me the cost of what it would be because of it.

Really nice and helpful. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of even though I didn't 100% know what I was talking about. They seemed honest and let me know when the tires would go on sale (in two weeks) to give me options.

Great service. All of the men I encountered were friendly, helpful, & kept me informed about what was happening to my leaking tire. Repaired & no more annoying "low tire pressure" beeps & notification!!!! Thank you very much Costco!!!!!

Great Tire Center experience today. One of the DC Beltway potholes put a hole in my tire. Costco's road hazard warranty to the rescue! 12,000 miles on the tire, but less than $2 out of pocket to replace! See, it's not just the up-front deal, it's how they also stand behind what they sell.
