Below was my review two days ago. Management was not on-site during this incident and has acknowledged certain protocols were waived which resulted in our disappointment. Since then, Uncle Ed s management, Anthony, has handled this situation with professionalism and respect, which is turn, has earned our respect for this location. Thank you Anthony and ownership for promptly handling and treating us well, as well as correcting the issue. Went to Uncle Ed s on April 1st around 12PM. Waited while my oil got changed, everything seemed fine. When it seemed the service was wrapped up, I was asked to turn my car on to do an engine check. About 10 seconds after turning my vehicle on, my sensor went off, beeping nonstop, with a message saying, OIL PRESSURE LOW. TURN ENGINE OFF. Obviously concerned about this, I let the staff know and at first, it was chalked up to a sensor issue or the car not reading the new oil properly. Fine. I was asked to turn my car on a few more times, and the oil percentage was even reset. Still, the message on my dash persisted. I could tell there was an issue because when I would turn my vehicle on, it would lightly shake - not normal. Finally, a recheck of the oil compartment was done, only to find that my compartment was emptied, but no new oil was put in my vehicle. So, I was turning my vehicle on and off several times with no oil in it. Yes, this alone can damage the vehicle. After they actually put the oil in my car, my engine light came on. My engine light wasn t on before I went to this oil change today. They then ran a small diagnostic on the vehicle and said that code P0011 was coming up, had they recommended I take my car to a mechanic sooner than later. I type this as I m sitting at my dealership, after paying $180 for them to diagnose my vehicle. I m out of a car for the night until they can figure out what s wrong with it. I have been to this Uncle Ed s once before. My previous experience with Anthony was just fine. The staff in today was polite and kind, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth as not only was there no oil in my car by the time I was supposed to leave, but that experience could have now caused damage on my vehicle that wasn t there before I went to the oil shop this morning. I hate to be this person but I will be making a call to the shop to speak with the manager after my car is diagnosed. Truly disappointing.

Awesome service through and through. They take very good care of their customers, they are very friendly, and they take excellent care of your vehicle. Best oil service shop I ve ever been to. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much guys!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was quick yet comprehensive. Probably one of the most pleasant oil change experiences I ve had. If I lived anywhere near there, I d be back for sure.

I will never change oil change shops. Such honest and good people here at the macomb county location. Anthony and his crew work together so well. They are honest and fair. Just all around good people and great work. Thank you Anthony, Koda, Conner, Ty and Camden. We will be back!

If I was allowed to give no stars I would. This was by far the worst experience in getting my oil changed by these guys. I had recently moved and had to change locations to the location on Hall Road and upon arriving and getting checked in I was informed that a different location had rounded off the oil drain plug (both people working on my car also admitted that they knew who had done it at the other shop) and that it couldn't be removed. I will add that as they were attempting to remove the drain plug I could feel my car shake from them trying to get the drain plug out. After almost an hour I was told that they had done all they could to remove the plug. I was told that I would need to return at another time so that the "manager" could look at it?? I asked what the manager would see differently than the 4 people trying every tool in their shop and possibly rounding the drain plug further would see and was told that was all they could do. I don't live close to this location and like most other people I work during the day. I asked to speak to the manager myself and was told that he would call me but my only option was to bring my car back which means taking time off from work in order to meet their schedule. It's been almost 7 hours and still no call from anyone on this issue. I can say that I WILL NOT be going back to them to get any work done on my car. At this point I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking to get their car serviced.

Got a quick and easy oil change by Lucas, explained what I needed to do professionally and got finished in about 10 minutes. Been coming here awhile for oil changes and been met with great staff and service.

As I left the office for lunch today I noticed fluid under my car. I went to the Hall Rd location and asked if they could help. They had me pull in. Everyone was awesome, kind and helpful. I left there knowing I was leaking oil. They even gave me a referral to an automotive shop to have it fixed. Because of them I have a new place to get my oil changed. Thanks guys you rocked. See you when I m due for an oil change.Shelly

Jay and Gordon were not only very smart and helpful but entertaining. They call it the show when they change the oil and they always do a 19-point inspection which as a guy who has worked on his own car I was impressed.

Asked if they would just do the oil change. I had oil, filter and new plastic drain plug (good thinking gm). They said they would for 55 dollars plus wtv. Couldn't do it. Had to keep my self respect!Called an oil chamge place on Vandyke between 21,22 east side of road. They did it for 30.00 out the door. Half of what uncle scammers wanted.BEWARE!!

I can not explain how mad I am at this oil shop service. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. They made me wait for hours without any explanation or apology. When it was finally my turn, they didn't even have the oil I needed in stock. I wasted my time and energy for nothing. This is by far the worst service I have ever experienced.they told me to run my car with no oil in it... I was able to see the smoke and smell burnt metal

Full synthetic full service oil change $109 .......Didn't top off washer fluidCouldn't figure out how to install oil filter so had to do it myself granted it was tricky oh and they got the sticker for the reminder off by 1,000 miles and these are the people we let work on our vehicles........ I've been to other uncle Ed's and never had an issue after this incident think ill stick to dealership service

Do Not Go Here. They are dangerous foolsNot only did they try to rip me off for $100+ oil change but when I got home, my car was smoking and I look down under my car, all my oil is spilling like hot coffee. Now I missed work and have to put my car in the auto mechanic shop to what damage was done.These guys are dangerous and shady.Don't let them touch your car. You might regret it.

Didn't check tire pressure...and didn't tell me ahead of time that I was being charged 3 extra qts of syn oil...$139 bucks for oil change...c'mon...on the bright side you are all very polite

I had a fantastic experience at this location! The employees were really kind and helpful, answering any questions I had, the employee that I talked to the most was a young kid named Frank who was very professional and pleasant to work with.
