Went for a full vehicle inspection, all they said was that the everything was fine and that's it. No paper, no proof of service that they actually inspected the vehicle. They also diagnosed my car for engine light(separate service) for that they did provide me a paper stating the problem. They didn't mention the diagnosis was an additional $150 before hand.

I absolutely will recommend Lakeside Auto care to everyone I know. They are so honest and legit two times. I brought my car to them thinking something was wrong and there wasn t and they didn t charge me anything and one stuff was wrong. I always got my car back within one day they re amazing.

They detailed my wife's car inside and out and the results were great. The inside was a challenge but they did a great job as you can see. Even the outside looks beautiful.

I walked in with a flat tire. He told me 4 hours before he could help me. . Seems like he didn't care about the $20 that I will pay. Thanks a lot auto care you lazy and not helpful.

I've been extremely happy both times we've brought our 2002 Silverado to Lakeside Auto Care. Each time, my time and money was respected. What does that mean?1. When I called I was given a day to bring in my car. Both times my car was fixed that day.I wasn't told "drop it off and we'll fit it in sometime this week in the next few days." And yes, if you're wondering that's happened before at other shops.2. I was called with a clear and honest estimate of the charges.And yes, again if you're wondering how I know it was an honest and fair price I did my homework and had other estimates first.This is my new go-to shop. My mom went here to have her window regulatory replaced and was told that she would need to come back Saturday morning when they opened at 7. I get their and the guy lies and said that they don't repair window regulators. Denied even talking to my mom as she pointed him out. Arrogant guy

Lovely service and the waiting area is wonderful! There s a wall with a TV so you don t make awkward eye contact with the techs while waiting, and a coffee bar. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!!

I live an hour from here and my water pump went out on my Sonic. I called seven different places and nobody could get me in for a week, or later. I was referred to Lakeside by another garage, Hank's Auto. Lakeside was very understanding of my situation and said to bring my car in, which I had towed there. After looking at it, they said they couldn't get the part until the next day. This meant me staying at the hospital all night. I received a called around 4 pm telling me they got the hard to find part in, installed it and even changed my oil. Great service, communication and a very fair price for the rush job they did to get me back with my family that night. Thank you!!!!!Service: Engine repair

Awesome service and communication. Got my truck towed in on Saturday afternoon and the starter was repaired and I had it back by Monday afternoon. Multiple phone calls to approve the estimate and when it was done.

Literally thief s. It was cheaper to repair my vehicle at the dealer and possibly better quality. I was quoted 4 times higher price at this mechanic repair facility that they actual dealer. I felt I was dealing with a crock at the front counterWould not recommend or advisePlease check the price at your local dealer then look for cheaper if needed

Thank you so much to Lakeside Auto! My husband and I were on our way to a doctor appointment today and our car overheated. We had just picked it up, at the dealer who had it for a month! The dealer failed to attach the clamp for the coolant!!! Lakeside Auto fixed our car up ,on the spot! They were extra friendly and kind. We couldn't be more appreciative!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve driven by Lakeside Auto plenty of times but never thought much of them. Then my vehicle stopped holding coolant!! One of my friends recommended me to this shop and honestly, I was NOT disappointed! Phil was beyond helpful and communicated with me throughout the process. Waited until I checked and had another mechanic check it out before I said anything. With that being said here's my experience with lakeside auto care...Came in to check about a whining noise and fluid flushes.. Was told they couldn't hear the whining and to wait until it got louder before they could diagnose it. They also said my ball joints were real bad and needed replacement.When I got home I opened my hood to see both my coolant and power steering over filled and coolant splashed all over. I also checked my ball joints that I replaced 13 months ago and seen little to no play.Went to another mechanic that pinpointed the whining sound to my transmission and also checked my ball joints and told me they seen a tiny bit of play but not critical yet.Photos don't show how bad the coolant was splashed but can see it some. If they try to say the coolant looks overfilled because you can see that the car isn't level you can look at the power steering fluid photo to show even at the lowest point the coolant was still overfilled. *failed to take photo power steering level when cold but when cooled it was about 1/4 inch past max.Overall I gave them a 2 because they didn't scam me but did a horrible job on the flush and tried to sell me on something I did not truly need... Also they didn't put any effort into pinpointing the whine as the other mechanic found where it was coming from in 15-20 minutes and took the time to show me.*To your reply,"Sorry for splash of coolant" but not sorry for over filling both coolant and power steering?And no you did not say they looked new because you gave a price of $500 each and was surprised when I told you they were only 13 months old. And you definitely didn't refer me to a transmission shop because you said you couldn't hear the whine and that'd I'd have to wait until the sound got worse before you could diagnose it. Why would I bring it to another mechanic to diagnose the whine? Either you are lying or confused with another customer

Always a great experience at Lakeside! My most recent visit was to get an exhaust system installed on a Mustang. I had gone to Mr.Muffler the day before to get a quote there. They wanted to charge me over $300 and 2.5hrs for a simple install. Lakeside did the same job for less than half the price of Mr.Muffler and did it in 30mins. Would always recommend taking your vehicle to Lakeside.

Terry and the rest of the crew continue to impress me in many ways. They don't look for ways to charge you more and in fact, on a couple of occasions have fixed issues with a n in expensive or free solution. All the work I have had them do over the last six years has been expertly done and never has required any follow up.Yet another great experience with Lakeside Auto. I found out I need a radiator from the dealership when I had it in for a recall. They couldn't do it for another day or so while they ordered the part. Lakeside took the car in at noon and had it back to me before the end of the day. And charged my quite a bit less than what the dealer wanted for the same job. In all my years I have never known a better auto repair place than Lakeside. The whole team are class acts and make getting an auto repair less painful than anywhere else.

Lakeside Auto Care is a rare find. They have been in business for a long time and have a loyal following because they treat their customers the way it should be. They go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied. They walked me through my first car purchase with patience and professionalism. They stand behind their cars and only sell what they would sell to a family member. I have been back for tires...that were less expensive than at COSTCO or BELLE TIRE. They did them while I waited and have been thrilled with their service. I even had an issue with my hood that any other dealership or auto repair would have charged for but they fixed it for free.I can't say enough about Lakeside Auto Care, professional, incredible customer service, honest pricing and treated me like family!

I came here because it was close to work, their website specifically said transmission repair, and the reviews were good. I told them the issue right off the bat, the light next to the D would start flashing while I was driving (a sign of a trans issue), and the check engine light was on. They said it would cost 90 to look at it, and unlike every other auto place I've dealt with, that doesn't come off the repair costs. I figure the convenience of it being close to work was worth it. After a day they told me a relay was loose, they didn't charge to put it back in (gee thanks) and that the only other issue they found was the oxygen sensor needed replaced. Cost would be 440, (that's including the 90). When I picked it up the following day they said the check engine like was off and the D light wasnt flashing. If I had any issues within the week or so bring it back. I pull out of the parking lot and immediately the check engine light comes back on and the drive light starts flashing. I took the first u turn and brought it back. They said they were surprised because they "let it run for 2 hours" and "drove it" (I'm assuming in the parking lot). They hooked it back up to test the codes and told me what the code was and that it was trans issue and gave me the number to a transmission repair shop. I said I thought you did transmissions here (the whole idea was to take care of any issue at one place) and they said they dont do internal transmission repair. Wow. Good to know. Needless to say I didn't use the repair shop they recommended, rather I took it 45 minutes away to a trans shop that fixed the issue for $212. No fee to diagnose the issue. No more lights on or flashing. HALF the price for the actual issue. And all Lakeside did was run the codes for 90 DOLLARS (I thought a lot more digging for the actual problem would occur than hooking it up to run the codes, which even auto zone does for free) and then charge me an addition 350 for a part and labor. A part that I could have easily gone without. And if they had actually drove it the lights would have came back on for them instead of pretending they fixed the issue. They took advantage, found something minor to get money out of me and sent me on my way. I wouldn't recommend them to any one and will happily do the drive to my regular auto repair shop.

I have been going to Lakeside auto for over 10 years. I have referred several people there that had problems that the dealership couldn't correct. They have always treated my family and friends quickly, correctly and at a fair price. I would recommend Lakeside Auto to anyone honest and accurate solutions for the automotive maintenance and repair needs.

first experience with them, just moved to the area. Manager was extremely helpful with the work on my car. Seemed honest and I will definitely be back. Even stayed a few minutes on a Saturday afternoon when I was running late to let me pick up my car!

Had front and rear rotors and pads replaced on top of a tire replacement. I was referred here by a sales technician at auto zone. They had great prices, honest guys, nice waiting room, with complimentary coffee and snacks. Lakeside auto care did my pads, rotors and tires in under 2 hours. Reputation speaks up to their value in customer satisfaction. Definitely the best in macomb county.
