Everything I have heard about Curt was true. He has a great personality, is truthful about vehicle conditions, and his price is definitely fair and reasonable. Just this morning I talked to two business men and they both gave him high marks for his integrity. Glad to recommend him to anyone at anytime.

Great staff and owner , take care of all your needs , best place for wheel alignment by far other places in Ludington think they know everything and don't and had difficult time at Muffler Man ??

Had made an appt for what I thought was brake problems because abs light was coming on. But was a bad wheel bearing. They got it changed. Good people, good work.

The ONLY place I'll go.I have a newer vehicle,some things are Absolutely Shop Required, to be fixed.. the day of the DIY mechanic - is pretty much over. In Mason, and surrounding counties, Good, Honest, Affordable Mechanics ARE Hard to Find.My previous mechanic passed away a few years ago- Not that I wouldn't use Both him And THIS Particular Shop.When I went in, a week prior, the appointment book was pretty solid, and Matt said it sounded like I was describing a bad wheel bearing. Which- absolutely confused me, but, I'm used to older vehicles. I was Sure it was a brake issue. Though, I mentioned it, I Didn't argue.Regardless - He put me in a spot as early as he could find. I dropped it off, they called in Under 4 hours, and I had my vehicle.vThe ONLY service I'll have done Anywhere Else, IS any recall/GM Certified Required repairs.I wouldn't go anywhere else, and I Feel bad saying so, they're Already Always busy- I'd prefer Nobody Knew how Great they do.#Honest #Fair #Courteous #Rare

I had a local shop, Baldwin, looking at my exhaust, they sawed my muffler off and then told me that they couldn't fix it. I called a bunch of different shops around and some told me that they could fix it "next week" . Master Muffler fixed it up the same day and didn't charge me as much as the other guys quoted me.Thank you!!

I have been coming here for years. To get exhaust and service done. This place is the best and only place in Ludington to get quality work and outstanding service.

The staff here is very polite and friendly. Answered my questions and even got my truck in same day and fixed. Being a women I was hesitant about being lied to or taking advantage of but that definitely was NOT the case! They fixed what was broke and and did not charge me a ridiculous amount. I definitely will be back for future maintenance.

I have been going there for over 40 years and never had a bad experience. The owner Kurt is the best. I always feel like he does the best job for you and never cheats you. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Always have done a good job on any vehicle they've worked on. Trust me, that when you take your vehicle here that you will be getting exactly what you need done, and the problem properly diagnosed. Prices have always been very reasonable as well.

This place is amazing!!! Customer service is great!! They fixed my car for a very reasonable price!! Even with all the madness going on they were still able to get my car fixed the same day!! No bs when it comes to master muffler!! I highly reccomend!! They went above and beyond!!

Always honest and helpful.Update: My girl drives like a dream for the first time in years! Thanks John. ;) It drives the quietest that I've pulled out of a lot...ever. If you need U-joints, tires, alignments, exhaust or brake systems, or anything in your undercarriage, Master Muffler is the place in Ludington. :D I'm a happy camper tonight...

These guys are SCARY FAIR and Honest. I brought in an 08 Chevy Cobalt that was my brother's. Asked them to go over it. Brake noise. I guessed that it needed new brakes (and possibly rotors) in the front. They said nope. Full inspection. I walked out under $40. What?

Kurt and Phil and the rest of the guys at Master Muffler are the best!! Don't take your car anywhere else for brakes or mufflers. They get the job done quick and the price is right.

Absolutely love this place. The quality of work is the best you will ever find. And there is no other shop that can do classic cars and exhaust like this in the world. Customer care is the spot on just like the service. Have been going here for 20 years and look forward to many more.

There s a reason they are one of the cheaper shops in Ludington. Got tires put on and an alignment and tires feel out of balance and my steering wheel isn t straight and it s unacceptable to me especially since it was straight when I brought it in. If I make it straight it pulls me into the other lane quick.Edit: Updating my rating to 4 stars because they fixed the steering wheel would have been 5 if I didn t have to go back in the first place.

If I could give a "zero" I would!On MORE than one occasion have been there for a MINOR repairs due to our "usual place" being closed or busy... only to be told there were FAR MORE things needed... padding the bill to the max...Went in for pads & shoes- tried to convince me the whole system was shot. I knew better because "my car guy" had already checked everything... he just didn't have the time right then.I hear this from women ALL OVER TOWN!Don't go in without knowing exactly what is wrong or without a guy...or they WILL rip you off!

Been taking my cars here for years and never had one compliant. I would suggest to make an appt as they keep pretty busy! It's freindly a atmosphere and they are honest!

Master Muffler is the only shop I will buy tires from. If I have questions Kurt will take the time to explain to you, so you understand all what happened.
