Quick in ,fast out ..Everyone I had contact with were professional and genuinely cheerful,a rarity today.Quick and correct diagnosiswas at hand .The service techs were ,well way abovethe norm in knowledge.I wish I had known about thembefore ,better late than never.The owner is old school with his operation ,you feel like a family member or old friend.They have a new customerfor sure.

Jeff and Corey were incredibly friendly and customer-service minded. They checked my anti-freeze (which was in good condition), and put 40 lbs of pressure in my tires. I had a great experience with these folks. The intake process was efficient and professional, the shop was clean, and the repairs were done in a timely manner. Pricing was fair, and my particular bill was less then the estimate. I know that won t happen every time I visit, but it was great to work with a reputable repair shop that was more concerned about the quality of the work than taking my money. I ll be back.

Excellent service, had a hitch put on a Ford Fusion. Great work. Timely a d very fair pricing. I came back for some assist in closed hours, couple of mechanics cane out from garage to help me to change the ball sizes I couldn't do myself. Wonderful bunch of professionals!

These guys are the best. After reading other reviews they save a lot of us campers. My car wouldn't start out at the National Forest. My tow truck driver called Lakeshore. They could look at my car right away and had a loaner for us! They were nice, honest, and clearly wanted the best for us. I highly recommend them to anyone camping and just living in the Ludington area.

We were camping in the Ludington area. My truck popped as I passed a vehicle. It was shaking pretty hard. Contacted Lakeshore Automotive approx 11:30am on a Friday. They were able to see my truck almost immediately. They found that I had no compression on valve 7. They gave us a loaner so we would be able to enjoy the area !! Fixed my truck by Wednesday, stayed late for me to come get my truck. We stayed at the KOA during this time anyways. Outstanding group of guys and they so gave me a veteran discount. Highly recommend these guys to anyone !!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

This place is top notch! Avenue tire is a poor excuse for a mechanic shop! Having wasted a ton of time and money at avenue, I came to the guys at lakeshore desperate to get my vehicle fixed! Jack the owner jumped in my car after I had shown up with no appointment. He could see the frustration on my face and his customer service was impeccable. They diagnosed the problem that day and actually told me that my vehicle was not safe to even be on the road! They were able to get the part in a timely manor and I was back on the road the next day! I can t say enough about the professionalism and the quality of the work that was done! They just earned a customer for life!As for avenue tire! I will go out of my way to make sure they don t get any business from my family or friends!

I don't know where to even begin in sharing what a great experience I had with Lakeshore Automotive and Tire. GREAT PEOPLE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My wife and I went camping in Ludington. When we arrived late on Thursday, when parking our camper the power steering went out on my truck. I called multiple repair facilities first thing Friday morning, all of them said they could not get me in until after the holiday weekend. When I called Lakeshore Automotive and Tire, Sarah answered the phone, when I explained what happened, she graciously said "bring the truck in and we'll take a look, no promises." I took the truck in, within a half hour Ryan had done an inspection and found the problem. I asked if they could get it repaired same day, and he said "if the part is available, we'll do our best." To put the icing on the cake..., Jack came in and said, "were going to do our best to get your truck done today, but we don't want to keep you here waiting, can I give you a ride back to the campground?", I gladly accepted, not only did he drop me off, we had a great conversation along the way. Then, around 4:00 pm. He surprised me when he arrived at the campsite and said, your truck is just about done, and drove me back to the shop. It is the absolute best customer service experience I've ever had! I can't thank the team at Lakeshore Automotive and Tire enough! Thank you for being such great human beings!! My truck broke down while camping, going into a holiday weekend. The guys at Lakeshore Automotive went above and beyond to get my truck fixed. The owner, knowing I was stranded, personally drove me back to the campground, went back and stayed late on Friday to get my truck fixed. Then picked me up to come get it late that night. He sacrificed time away from his family so we wouldn t be stuck for 4 days. Amazing customer service. Great people. We were lucky to find them.

I don't even know how to put into words how wonderful it is to have a good honest and thorough mechanic! We have been struggling with our older Traverse it had been in and out of another shop and hadn't been fixed. Jack and team texted me just a few hours after dropping it off and explained what was wrong, what might still be wrong but couldn't be checked until the first part was done. We got the traverse back and it runs better than the day we got it! Thank you so much A+++

Took my truck in to have the coil packs fixed because one of the bolts was stripped and when I got my truck back it was still doin the same thing and the bolt was still in and the coil pack wasn't even bolted down I'm a bit pissed about it because I know they aren't goin to right theor wrong so I'm not goin back again I have the picture of it on my phoneService: Engine repair

Car quit running at Ludington state park. Had it towed to Lakeshore. We are from out of town and needed to get back home for work. They determined it was the starter and were able to acquire one and replace it the same day. So grateful for them taking care of us so quickly. Thank you again and Sarah you still deserve that bounce!!!!
