Came here as a small weekend getaway and for the kids to swim. The pool area is nice and updated. There is a small arcade room and a nice workout area. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as grab and go stuff. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the layout of the hotel is super strange. We had a hard time finding our room. The bed was comfy though and room was clean!

Pool is super nice.Continental Breakfast was decent.Room was clean. Comfy bed.Staff was helpful when needed.Meeting room is in a good location & large w/ a kitchen and a TV.Currently renovating third floor and parts of other floors but was clean and was overall a great experience.Food & drinks: Lots around to choose from for food. Stores also close.

I would not recommend you stay here. I booked a pet friendly room and the room smelled so funky. I asked to switch rooms but the only other available room stunk too. I woke up so plugged up from the pet dander. The overwhelming pet odor made me want to gag, so we left first thing in the morning and I brushed my teeth at the park. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out early and regret staying even the one. We called to politely let management know our issues after we got home, but they couldn't be bothered to return our calls. So here is our warning to you: Do not stay at this hotel if you stay in the pet friendly rooms. I would have preferred to sleep in my van.

Everything has been great except for the fact the heater in are original room quit working and started blowing cold air. My daughter and I woke up freezing and had to use the blankets from the other bed to keep warm and cuddle together. I let them know yesterday morning asap and they did give us another room but even with my daughter catching a cold because of the heater not working, they won't do anything except give us a discount for another night. I feel disrespected by this. I'm taking my daughter to the Dr today and will be bringing them the bill.Rooms: Housekeepers and maintenance guys are awesome.Noteworthy details: Great breakfast bar. Gym,and spa are great.

Came to ludington for work and needed a place to stay for one night as I move around alot. First thing I did after getting out of work was hop in the shower only to be disappointed by their low barrier base and their shower curtain that blows inward into the shower leaving little room, unfortunately leaving lots of water on the floor which we quickly mopped up. We layed down to get some shut eye only to be kept up by the unit above us. I let it go until about 10:45 pm and couldn't take it anymore, I don't like complaining(mind you, I'm 26 years old and enjoy a party) but in this case, I had to. It sounded as if there were a bowling alley above me!The hotel did nothing about the noise and I was kept awake until 12am. Very disappointed and will say if you're coming to stay for business to get some rest, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. This hotel seemed to be a big party even at 11pm!

This place was awesome. We were here visiting from Florida and wanted to be in the Ludington area. Location was perfect.With the help from our checkin person Ashley, she made sure we had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. The room was perfect and breakfast served was top shelf. Two thumbs. We highly recommend this place.Food & drinks: Breakfast was great

Nice room and pool. The breakfast was very good. The only bad thing was the football team that was allowed to run up and down the halls at all hours. They were yelling and pounding on the vending machines with no adult supervision. They were high school kids. At breakfast the next morning they were eating in the lobby not at the tables leaving empty water bottles and knocking over the vases on the table. Other than that everything was good.

Nice indoor pool area with hot tub, exercise and game room. Nice complementary continental breakfast for those looking for a quick easy breakfast. Rooms were nice, included mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. A small playground area outside on hotel property is also available. Great option for families visiting for a few days.

Check in was quick but while I was waiting another guest came up because they were given the same room as another person and walked in on them. Our room smelled very musty and the carpet was damp. The room was quite small. The Bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine but didn t do anything to reduce the moisture in the room. Air conditioner was also very noisy. The breakfast was fine for a budget hotel. I would not stay here again.

Ugh! Idk what happen to best western but wow. Haven t stayed here in awhile and decided to try again. The First room I was put in had no hot water, the power kept shutting off when you used the microwave. Super annoyed and not what you would expect from a hotel. She did move us two a second room right next door, did have hot water but microwave was still blowing the power strip. Beds are decent but pillows suck! Room was clean.

Male employee was uncomfortably aggressive! We stayed there July 2nd-6th of 2023. I am a state government employee in my home state and I often utilize the government discount rate when booking hotels. When I booked here over the phone I utilized the government rate. Upon check in male employee demanded to see my military or federal ID, I dont have either of those so I told him that. He basically called me a degenerate liar without saying those exact words and said i told them i did when i booked online (I booked over the phone). I told him I would happily pay the additional $15/night fee. Their card reader failed to read my debit card twice and he declared loudly that their machine said my card was denied. I utilized my card several times a day for the rest of the stay and continue to now. We quickly used my wife's card from the same checking account, which worked fine.An hour later my 11-year old son was walking through the hotel towards the room when male employee stopped him and asked if he was staying at the hotel. Our son returned to the room saying male employee had scared him.The next evening our son was swimming in the pool with many other guests and my wife was setting at a table in the pool area looking at her phone. Male employee approached my wife and asked if she had a child in the pool. When she said she did he said well all kids have to be out in 5-minutes. That's when the adults only swimming begins. She fealt singled out and awkward.The hotel was clean and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaints were these interactions with The male employee and him lurking around like Mr. Burns. There was often very heavy marijuana smells in the hallways too.

Suite was a great set up for our family of 5. Clean on arrival. Beds comfortable. Friendly staff. Breakfast was typical but fine. Only complaint is the whole hotel is very dark. Bathroom set up was odd with water designed to leave shower stall and drain in a second drain in the floor in the bathroom. Made floor very wet and slippery which would be especially dangerous for handicapped guest.

The carpeted floors seemed to be moist. I wouldn't recommend walking around without shoes with soles. It was right across from the pool... perhaps that had something to do with it? Also, I saw a couple of ants in the bathroom coming in and out of a crack by the bathroom door.OAN: The staff was nice and helpful.There's a Walmart down the street (walking distance) if you need anything and other stuff nearby as well.

The pool and hot tub were amazing. Both were clean and at the right temperatures. Adult only time from 10-11 pm. The breakfast had waffles, cereal, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, oranges, pastries and juices. The breakfast sandwiches were Jimmy Dean but inedible, in my opinion. The beds were comfortable, the staff were nice. Rooms had fridge and microwave and are pet friendly. The rooms are showing their age, but still acceptable. Would definitely stay here, again.

Beautiful area. The hotel was being remodeled when I stayed here. Front desk wasn't very pleasant most likely because I used points to book my stay and made me put a deposit down, literally had someone come check my room during checkout before they would give my deposit back. Quite embarrassing to be treated as a child when your nearly 5 decades old.

I really enjoyed my stay! Room was great. My room was right by an entrance so that really helped. I had my 3 month old daughter with me. We were able to get a late check out without any issues. WiFi worked great. Breakfast was pretty good. All in all, a great experience and will definitely being staying again.

Nice motel just a couple miles from the SS Badger, we enjoyed our stay. The hot tub "bubbles" stopped working the day I used it but I assume it was fixed the next day. The pool is kept at a comfort temp, warmer than some frigid motels I have stayed at The breakfast was waffles, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, bread, muffins, strudels, cheese sticks, string cheese, oranges, bananas, tea, hot chocolate & coffee. Ann taking care of the breakfast was very kind.

I was absolutely surprised this was a Best Western. It was clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast with the warm options of waffles or breakfast sandwiches. The pool area was clean and the hot tub was also clean. I saw this area being cleaned by staff twice in our one night stay. This location offers a playground, grills and patio area to hang out in. We cooked out dinner and ate right outside. This location is close to the beach and downtown. Well worth the price.

The room was clean, but cramped. No counter space really in the bathroom. Plus, there is a large window facing the hallway, and a tiny window facing the outside. Lots of hallway noise heard throughout the night from other guests. The thermostat was not functioning and had a sign made from tape over it, indicating to use the wall unit. Only half of the wall unit controls worked, and it sounded a bit unhinged when it was working. The breakfast in the morning was mostly cold foods with an option for waffles. BUT the location cannot be beat.
