Sam was great and kind.. I would recommend them to any family and friends. They even had a sweet guy drive us to my mom's house because my car was going to take a few hours and I had my 4-year-old son with me.

My insurance company scheduled vehicle pickup I was given eta 90-120 minutes. Phone # given to me was not a working number 3 hours into my wait I was informed eta was 30 minutes well TCC never showed up still waiting. Customer service for this company sucks the people are dishonest, unaccommodating, and somewhat rude I would not recommend this company and I m hoping insurance no longer does uses their service

Took over 3 hours for an oil change. Now, my engine is leaking oil because they didn't put my oil cap BACK ON!!! It's not rocket science, just put the parts BACK where they were before your unqualified hands touched it.

We were on our way home to Grand Rapids area after a Tigers game. After stopping for a bathroom break and snacks our truck decided to breakdown and not start. We contacted our roadside assistance and they set us up with Total Car Care Towing. We had no idea about where to find reputable repair shops in the area. The tow driver was very skilled in how to get the truck onto the flatbed. We asked him for his recommendation on where to take our truck. Of course he recommended Total Care Care Auto Repair. A quick google review search helped us to make our decision. By 11pm we had our truck on it's way to the shop. They texted with confirmation that our truck was at the shop and that we would hear from them between 8-9 am the next morning. We ended up calling them right at 8am because of our work schedule. They answered right away, listened to our story and said they would look at it this morning. He said it sounded like a bad starter. This was at 8am. By 10am they called with the estimate and indeed it was the starter. He said they would have it repaired TODAY!!!. Most repair shops in the Grand Rapids area are scheduling out a week or more, so this was very welcome news. By 11:30am they called to let me know our truck was finished and fully operational. In 12 hrs from when it arrived in their lot, and approx 3 hrs after opening the next morning they had the job completed!! In addition to timely repair, the cost was more than reasonable! From start to finish our experience was top notch- a breath of fresh air for our stressful situation! Great service, fair prices and quick work. What more can you ask? I have a 25+ year old car, and TCC is my go to place when my baby has an issue. Do yourself a favor and call Mo ASAP.

Best auto shop ever. They have cheap prices and a nice waiting room. The workers are very nice to everyone. I've gotten my cars tires replaced, did a good job. Oil change, did it fast. They do everything fast. I love this place. Go here if you need a repair. The Euro car care is also good. I don't have a European car but, I've seen it. It's good.

*****Review 1 year on - I just have to give it to them. They have no disappointed. They have not slacked. They have not stopped giving excellent customer service and great car service. They continue to stand behind their work and offer superior quality at great and reasonable prices. I still recommend them and now I have a lot more experience with them and multiple vehicles at their shop. Thank you.*****Decided to try a mechanic without a referral and I was not disappointed on price, work or customer service.From my limited experiences, I like them and recommend them. I think they are priced fair and do a good job. And if you re not completely happy they ll make it right.They have a seating area if you choose to wait, even a children play room. A vending machine for snacks and coffee. If you want you can even watch the mechanics work on your car from the parking lot. Everything is in the open and on the up and up.Definitely use them, I think you ll be impressed.

These guys are awesome! The tow truck arrived in 10 minutes flat, the driver was obviously very experienced, and I knew my car was in safe hands.

I had a bad service experience. I called their nearest location and scheduled a service appointment, but the day of, I found out it was permanently closed. I went to the next nearest location. To make matters worse, the guy at the front desk said he wanted $300 for the service, instead of the $175 price I was quoted!

I ve used this service twice for towing. Two years ago and then again last Friday. Once I arranged the tow, the second progressive arranged the tow. My car would not start so it needed to got to Toyota Suburban Service. Both times my car was towed here I got a call from suburban that the tow truck drivers dropped the car off in the parking lot across the street from the service garage. This morning they went back out to drop it off at the garage at suburban. You would think that a tow truck driver would understand that the car cannot start, therefore it needs to go the the garage to be diagnosed. So it s finally in the garage and the owner/ manager of total car care just called me and said very rudely that he heard I was unhappy with his service. I said of course I am .it s happened twice to me! He argued and said that in order for the driver to drop off at the correct place they need the correct address he continues to argue. I said they had the correct address as Toyota suburban only has one and I m sure your drivers have been going here for many years.. You would think that they would know to take it to the service station and not a parking lot access the street. DO NOT EVER USE THEM FOR A TOW!!!

Changing my review...I stopped coming here a year ago after they let me drive off the lot only to discover the drivers side window was off track and broken. I drove right back. I confronted them about the fact they left the window down on purpose so I would drive off and THEN discover a problem. They stated I could come back in for them to fix for a cost. I noticed the younger guy looking at me before I pulled off initially... I have a great sense for something not being right even if I can't put my hand on it at the time. Just shady. If my window had an issue, you tell the customer, period.Then, I took my car to a different shop who advised Total Car used cheap parts and they go bad every 6 months...which correlated with why I kept taking my car to them every 4 to 6 months. The new place showed me a part I had replaced just 5 months prior... deteriorated. I'm so disappointed with them. I have a new car now because for nearly a year, I drove my previous car having back to back heating issues that never got resolved with them...

You guys did some work on my exhaust about a year ago and I was happy with the price and repair so I sent my nephew up to get a price on a muffler and you guys tried to sell him a lot more then just a muffler. I know for a fact it just needed a muffler because I personally replaced everything between the manifold and muffler. Shame on you for trying to rip off an 18 year old who's driving his first car. I will no longer recommend you to anyone and am thinking about contacting the state of Michigan and the BBB. To follow up we put a $100 muffler on the car and everything is good. Which is a whole lot better them the $750 you wanted to charge an 18 year old. Scammers trying to sell him stuff he didn't need.Service: Exhaust

Had a tow truck drive flash his emergency lights on in stop and go traffic because I wouldn't tailgate the semi in front of me. He then moved over a lane and cut me off. I have front and back dashcam video and a police report was made. As someone who works in emergency services, it is very unprofessional to not only drive aggressively, but to use your emergency lights for something other than an emergency.I was maintaining a safe distance between the semi and my vehicle.This tow truck had red, blue, and white lights which is illegal. Per Michigan statute section 257.698, wreckers are only allowed to have amber and red lights and they shall not be activated unless the wrecker is engaged in removing or assisting a vehicle at the scene of a traffic accident or disablement.

New in area, was heading to my old area to get my car looked at. Saw Total Car Care. Decided to stop in. Turnt out to be the best decision & my new car service place. They are friendly, fast & excellent with their work. Also had my keys stuck in ignition. They figured the problem & no charge. I got great vibes that they not all about just getting your money. Did a good job on my car, except I had to take it back to adjust the breaks.When you tell me you tested it out, then I'm thinking an apology is in order, .especially when I can't take off when hitting the gas

Requested a tow through my insurance and they assigned this company (Total Car Care). The tow was for a motorcycle and it was clearly listed in the notes.First driver arrives after an hour and a half and says he can t tow the motorcycle. He calls his dispatch and advises her of this. She states a driver will be out in 10 minutes.An hour passes, I call and ask why the drivers location isn t updating on the map like it was with the first driver.. she claims it s a flawed system (when in fact the second driver vehicle could be seen moving about the map untilI called and it was stationary in an apartment complex or subdivision.) She provides another 10 minutes eta After this call the tow gps disappears and my tow is canceled.Unprofessional.

After discovering my tire was dry rotting, I really needed my spare put on. Two tire places told me my car was not safe to drive but they turned me away, saying they were too busy to put on my spare.I called Total Car Care and Moe got me right in. They were so friendly and quick, even though they were just as busy if not busier than the places I had just come from.I needed new tires of course, so I cancelled my belle tire order and instead placed an order here with Moe. The tires came the next day. This place will have all of my business from now on. I m so glad to have discovered it.My partner needed his summer tires put on, so I told him I found the perfect place. They got him in right away as well and for a very fair price.All in all, a great place with honest and friendly mechanics where I feel comfortable bringing my car, and telling my friends and family to come as well.

Nice place I would recommend. Took my car there for service, it was quick and they explained to me wht I needed. But, I would suggest they have someone at the front desk at all times when people walk in for service, so you don t have to wait for someone to come to the desk to help you, I think that the person who works at the desk was also working on cars, so you stand there waiting to talk to someone, and if your sitting in the lobby waiting for your car, people will ask: is there anyone working the desk, I was ask twice. Other then that highly recommend.

Moe repaired an issue with my windshield wiper that ended up being due to a loose nut, free of charge, and diagnosed immediately upon coming to the shop. I appreciate the above and beyond customer service and will definitely be returning!!

This business will feed you inaccurate eta's for hours and then abandon your request leaving you stranded. Never use this towing service, never.

These guys are awesome. I showed up at closing for an emergency plug and they could have turned me away. They didn't. They invited me in and didn't hesitate to let me know they'd have it taken care of right quick. And that's exactly what they did. Outstanding service from genuinely caring people. I went to three tire places needing to get my tire plugged. I had the tire off the car and saw the screw in the tire so it was a quick fix but the first two places said they couldn t do it until sometime tomorrow afternoon. The third place I went to was across the street from the other two called Total Car Care and the service was awesome! He plugged the tire and I was out the door in a matter of minutes. I will definitely be going back to Total Car Care! Customer service is hard to find these days and it was nice to experience for a change. Thanks again Total Car Care!

Took my truck here because I had a bolt stuck in it. These guys were total professionals, fixed my tire up quick and even gave me an extra good deal because of a joke I made! Will be doing business with them again if I have any further needs!

CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!! Deceptive and shady. If you need roadside assistance and your insurance gives you these guys - DEMAND them to call someone else!!! Seriously! They accept all the calls even tho they cannot service them. I MISSED AN ENTIRE DAY OF WORK because of these guys!!! All I needed was for someone to come and fill my flat tire so I could drive it less than a block away to the dealership. Waiting over 90 minutes is excessive and they (roadside assistance) should move on and call another company. But how could they when Total Car Care accepts all the calls and say they can service it when they cannot and they are hogging all the calls and keeping them away from going to other companies! I called them directly and was told they had like "over 100 calls because of the snow overnight", really? It snowed less than inch and was gone before dawn. Excuse after excuse. Every time the "ETA" was about up, I would get a text pushing it to another hour, one after the other, then a half hour, etc. I called and again and said, "listen, I'm a quick call, I just need enough air to go less than a block I don't think I even need a tow - don't you have someone out there with an air pump?"; the woman who answered said "hang on", put me on hold and came back and said, "ok I'm sending someone out right from the shop here", ok how long, "20 minutes".......that was at 11:16......no one came. I started calling them after 40 minutes and they would not answer, I called about 4 times, was answered once and was asked "can you hold please?", I said yes, he never came back. I hung up after several minutes and called back, they just sent me to voicemail. I get a call at 2:00 from the tow driver saying he's about 20 minutes away, I told him that "I was told you would be here over 2 hours ago", and he said, "I haven't even had your ticket for 20 minutes"....he showed up and was great, it wasn't his fault, I think they subcontracted him cuz he didn't have a total car care truck.. I still had to get the tire fixed. I lost an entire day of work because they are greedy, want all the roadside calls regardless if and when they can service them. This is SO DECEPTIVE and SHADY!! I wouldn't even use them for repairs or collision service. Sorry but bad reviews come from bad conduct and my experience with TCC was horrible!!Service: Car towing

If an insurance agent dispatches you to this company- cancel. I waited over 5 hours for a tow and each time I called for an update (about every hour) they just added more time and told State Farm and I two different stories. They also stopped answering calls from myself and State Farm. I m sure what happens is when they see you aren t towing to their mechanic shop they just keep shoving you down the list. These people should be flagged by all insurance companies based on previous comments.Service: Car towing
