I don t give many five stars They took a look at my daughter s car, and unfortunately it wasn t worth repairing. They didn t charge for the inspection because they felt bad for her. That s the kind of company you want to deal with.

I just received the best service I have ever experienced at The Detroit Livonia Garage. I went in expecting the same old song and dance but received knowledgeable, helpful service from a very warm staff that made me feel comfortable right from the beginning. They fixed my problem and saved me money too! Thank you David and the staff at Livonia Garage! I will definitely be back and will refer you to everyone I know!

Had a great experience with Livonia Garage. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Staff is excellent and great at communication and explaining things being done. They also take pictures to show the client so you know what is wrong with the vehicle. You also get a detailed receipt with pictures and an estimate if more work should be done! Highly recommend this place!

Repeat customer and will be back. Excellent service and work. The team is great and the work is quick and quality. The report at the end is great. They show you what else they saw/suggest including photos while working on your car, but don t push you into it.

These Mechanics make all the difference. What a knowledgeable and thorough team. They fixed up my dad s 20 year old Explorer with integrity and speedy! I was impressed that they rejected some repairs after they deemed it not necessary, they could have easily padded the job but did only the needed work. Jeremy and crew were polite, curtious and professional. Above all honest. The facility is spotless with a comfortable waiting area. Jeremy was kind enough to shuttle me home and back when the work was completed. Technicians were professional and do quality work. I will be going to the Detroit Garage-Livonia for all my future auto needs and highly recommend them.Special shout out to Matt Scramm for suggesting I go here.Mike

I had a great experience with The Detroit Garage(The Livonia Garage)!!! They were professional, thorough, and super easy to work with. They were quick with our repair. Explained everything clearly and provided a complete report with images that marked what repairs and things they found. This was super helpful. We will make this our new place to come for all car repairs.

They were super helpful with diagnosing a variety of issues on an older vehicle. Clear documentation and honest & correct explanation of a variety of issues, their severity, costs, and likelihood of additional repair. Replaced my brakes from them, and they feel great.

My 2003 Mustang stuttered and quit running at Livonia Costco. I found the Livonia Garage by proximity and good ratings. They confirmed they could handle a somewhat lowered car over the phone and would work me in the next day, so I had AAA tow me there. The check in was a good experience along with progress calls. They traced the issue to the fuel pump and had me back on the road less than 48 hours from drop off with a new fuel pump and fuel filter. I am grateful for the care in which they handled my Mustang.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent communications for the repairs needed. Everything done as stated . Great facilities and will definitely make this place for any future needs. Even had follow up from them the day after to ensure everything was ok !! Who does that anymore? The Detroit Garage does!!!

These people are passionate and they care a lot about your issues with your vehicle. I've been going here for over 5 years and the service just gets better. We live in a time where auto parts cost a lot inflation is very high and these guys are not taking advantage of it they take advantage of customer service and making sure their customers are happy! I cannot overstate this is the best repair shop I have ever step foot in. If I can give them a hundred Stars I hey care a lot about your issues with your vehicle. I've been going here for over 5 years and the service just gets better. Woke up to a flat tire due to a screw puncture. Called these guys up and they took care of it right away so I could get on the road. Fantastic service and great work!!!

Overpriced! They tried to charge me 2500$ I thought to myself way to much took it to friends auto in garden city definitely worth the extra 10 min drive they only charged me $799 and my problem went away.With them doing the same repair I will never go to this place again and I suggest you do the same

The Livonia garage hands down gave me the best experience I've ever had with anyone in this industry. The employee's Sean, Jeremy, and David are the reason this happened. They gave me the best customer support I've ever received and were extremely helpful with diagnosing my vehicle's problems and repairing them. Every repair they have done on my car has not had any issues since after the repairs. As well as that all employees are extremely friendly and do their best to understand your circumstance and what they can do to help you. When anyone ever asks me where they should go to get their car repaired, I always say The Livonia Garage as it's a repair shop you can trust.

Completely Honest peopleCompletely straight forward , and they do not want to rip you off , excessively.I was perfectly advised what to do and what does not need to be worried about regarding my vehicle. The Livonia location of the Detroit Garage has helped me out twice now when I was in a position that my vehicle needed urgent repairs. They were kind and caring, listened to my situation and were able to fit me in the same day to get my car back up and running. The waiting area is comfortable and stocked with bottled water and coffee. Their prices are fair, and I don't feel like I need to be on guard against getting taken advantage of.Services: Tires, Auto battery replacement

I had a 2016 Chevy equinox serviced here several weeks ago for a malfunctioning variable valve timing solenoid. The overall experience is streamline and professional. Online checklist of recommended service was convenient and easy to use. Price is as stated, no gimmicks. Overall I m pleased with the speed and quality of work, and plan to return if I need service again

We typically use our dealership for repairs but we re facing a long wait time. I found The Detroit Garage (Livonia), and scheduled an appointment. We required a tow for our BMW and the tow company they exclusively work with were quick and efficient, the handoff to the garage was seamless and the garage service managers were helpful and friendly. I appreciated that everything could be done remotely and they took pictures of each check they made on our vehicle, which I had never seen before. This was second experience as my car needed rear struts. I called and they remembered me. I scheduled an appointment to drop off my car and I could see from the amount of cars they were busy. Two days later not only did I receive a call that my car was done they washed it as well, they even cleaned my wheels. 5 stars I would highly recommend this car repair. Located on Middlebelt in Livonia Michigan. Check them out.

My car was having brake issues and they were able to get me in right away. They did a great job communicating with me about the issues. They even uploaded photos of my cars wore out parts, which really shows that they take their time and make sure it s done right.
