What's the use of getting a car through a dealership and having free oil changes for 2 years, when nobody is ever there to do said oil changes? Every single time, it's a different excuse as to why the tech isn't working that day. Called to confirm they were open and was told "yes, from 9am-3pm" show up after driving an hour to get here and the bay is closed with a sign on the door. So I called back and asked the same question while I'm sitting in the parking lot and get told the tech is on vacation until Tuesday. You could've said that in the first place. This place is a joke.

They gave me a year of free oil changes and now that the car I JUST GOT needs one badly their guy is never there. Oh he called in sick . he had a family emergency . I called this morning to check and see if the oil change was opened and their hours are 9-4 and they told me they wouldn t be open till 10-10:30 am. I call back at 1:30 pm to find out I would have wasted another trip there because the guy called off again. What good are free oil changes if the guy is never there and they have ONE guy who does it. The rest of the staff seems nice but clearly aren t that bright if they only have ONE guy that isn t dependable doing oil changes. I m better off spending money around the corner from me for fast , friendly & DEPENDABLE service and they even do a lot more then I m sure this place would while I get my oil change . All and all this place is a joke and needs to get someone else or hire more people because this Is so unprofessional and ridiculous

Very quick, but nearly impossible to get a hold of. No one answers the phone, and their voice mail box is always full.

Chris the manager over there is always so friendly and accommodating. I bought a car that needed more work than it was worth, but he has always tried to help me keep it together. I especially appreciate how honest he has been regarding this car, very good to not feel like your being taken advantage of because your a woman.

This place has gone down hill. I made an appointment a week ago, came in on time and my car did not get serviced the entire day. I called at 12pm and no update was ready. I had to call at 4pm to see what was going on. They still had no update and said they needed to keep my car over night. I wasn't offered a rental but what was really irritating was that no one thought to call me and say that I would need to find alternative transportation. So I come in at 9:45am the next day and my car STILL hadn't been touched. Tristina made it seem as if I just randomly dropped my car off. No ma'am. My car has been here over night. The tech hadn't even test drove it to verify my claims. Then Jeri goes to tell the tech to drive it and he told her no. That he was "balls deep in his dad's truck". This is literally what was said in front of my face. The staff is unprofessional and no one gives a damn about your time. Save yourself some time and possibly money and just go someplace else.

The lady whose job is to do oil changes is very unprofessional and her customer service is poor. I understand that people have long work days and maybe tired, but rule of thumb if you close at 4 and someone has sat for over an hour to get an oil change, you shouldn't tell that individual that you wont service them because your day ends at 4. My girlfriend sat for over 2hrs a previous time and was informed that she would not be serviced until after the lady took her hour lunch. She should be replaced. Honestly I would not recommend that place to anyone. The sad part is that the free oil changes for a yr is supposed to be a perk of purchasing a car from RightWay, but if the service is terrible at the place where this free service is to provided to the point that a person would rather pay for their service than what is the real perk of buying the vehicle from that dealership.

I financed a vehicle through Rightway and had to have it looked at the same day, Brian who looked and fixed these issues was very polite, friendly and definitely good at his job, and Chris the manager was just as friendly and polite as well. The fact that I just contacted Chris to have my bumper looked at and he not only worked around my schedule, he also got me in this week for an appointment. Very impressed with this company and these two guys! Awesome work!

I love taking my car to Safeway Auto, the staff is always very polite. I called an talked to Christopher Brewis and told him the problems that I was having with my car and he worked me into his schedule. When I got there this morning I explained to him everything that was going on with my car. After they did the oil change and check my tire pressure, Christopher came and explained to me about the check engine symbol and that I was correct that it was my thermostat and to call Chevy to see if it was under warranty and it was. Thank you Christopher for all your help and courtesy.

I had this vehicle for only a week, and the check engine has come on 2 times! After the first time, I was told to bring it back if it comes on again. The second time I bring it back, they were more concerned about what time they get off, than fixing what was wrong. I come back a 3rd time, and I'm made to feel like I came at the wrong time (1 o'clock). I'm at my wits end, and extremely frustrated!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This place is an absolute joke! They offer 2 years of free oil changes but it is nearly impossible to get in to get one. I have came several times and have been unable because they only have ONE WORKER. Then the hours are horrible they open at 9 but take the last car at 11:30 to go to lunch which is only 2.5 hours of operation before they close. Then they open back at 1 and take the last car at 3:30 so they are open a total of 5 hours a day 5 days a week which equals out to 25 hours for who knows how many cars. Also, because this is the only one on the west side you are forced to come to this one. I am beyond frustrated at this so called benefit when you can't use it especially if you work. I really hope they fix this or stop offering the service.

This place has the worst customer service ever. When I got my car I wasn't told how much my car note would be until they printed up all of my paperwork and asked me to start signing. It took over three weeks got me to get my license plate that I'm sure they didn't even request until my second time asking for it and the day before my temp plate expired. I was not given another temp plate. I had to raise hell until they gave me a dealer plate. And they gave me a hard time getting that after I expressed that I work 8am-10pm Monday-Friday and I didn't have time to come into the office. Two no the later in trying to get an oil chair and I called the day before for the service center hours. I was told they close @ 6 then put on hold- the call hung up on me. I come at 5:30 on a Friday I called ahead and no one answered buy the hours say 6 and I didn't get off work until 5. I'm outside the garage honking and calling right way for ten minutes before someone finally turns the lights out in the service center and comes outside and tells me the oil change guy leaves at 5... I'm like so why wasn't I told that the day before. She just walks away. I called four times and was redirected to a voicemail or hung up on every time. I wish I never brought my business here.

Safeway was recommended to me at AutoZone. Every step I took with Safeway was easy. I needed my alternator replaced. It was Friday afternoon. They said come right in. Tristina was so easy to talk to. She got my car right in and it was repaired before the end of the day. They charged me exactly what I was quoted, which was very affordable, and applied coupons I didn't even know exsisted. I highly recommend them!

Tristina was very thorough and upfront about replacing my transmission, I was about 200 miles over my warranty and she fought to get it replaced; I only had to be pay for the deductible! Thank You Tristina for doing me a great service, I appreciate you. 5 Stars Across the Board.

Dealing with Safeway has been the WORST experience I've EVER had to go thru. I financed my car thru Rightway in Ypsilanti, when I purchased the car it had no heat/air condition, & the front 2 tires were bald. They sent my car to "Safeway"in Livonia. They had my car 3 days & DID NOT fix anything on the list. Rightway sent my car back to Safeway. This time when I got my car back they STILL hadn't fixed the heat nor the air condition, AND they ruined the interior of my car with oil & black dust from the mechanic's uniform, they broke the trunk button so I couldn't get into the trunk. The ignition key never worked for the trunk....not only that, they removed ALL the paperwork that was in the glove compartment, my registration, insurance paperwork & everything & lost it. Now I have the inconvenience of getting ALL that ALL OVER AGAIN!Nick & Chris @ Rightway in Ypsilanti were very sympathetic to my issues, but those people @ Safeway in Livonia need a lesson in customer service. I will NEVER take my car there again, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I wouldn't even give them 1* but I had to to post my review. My heat/air still don't work properly. I can't get into the trunk, my paperwork is missing, & my car has staines on the seat that I didn't put there. I've had my car for 1month Safeway had it 10 days out of that month and I'm in worse shape then I was before I bought the car. DON'T USE SAFEWAY!!!Tierra Anderson

Have you ever seen the movie Janky Promoters with Ice Cube and Mike Epps. This is what this place remind me of. Although they are certified to do their jobs they aren't that good at it. I brought my car to there establishment because it wouldn't shift out of park. It took them a week to fix it. At first, they couldn't figure out what the problem was so they paid for a rental car for that week. Although they were nice and polite, they trashed my car. My car was a mess when it was given back to me and my cassette player auxiliary cord was broke. I'm glad to say I will going back to my normal mechanic who is more reliable and time conscious.

Sitting here to have service that should've been done before they sold me the car....was told an hour that has turned into five hours. And for the lovely lady to tell me it's my fault. Something tells me this is NOT going to be a good relationship. No one knows the lady name who's sitting behind the desk but the sign says the service manager is Chris....haven't seen him. Worst experience EVER!!

Chris and Tristina have the best customer service and I always take my car here for all my repairs. I would recommend them for any and all of your car needs. This place has the best and most personal service for an auto repair shop.

Literally the worse service ever .. They turned a 2 day job into a 2 week job, putting me and my fianc� in a bind as far as transportation. They told him it would be done by 5 pm which turned into 6 pm, so he was late for work. It was absolutely terrible never again. I would not recommend them to anyone

Terrible customer service. Called all week, no one answered, left messages no one returned my call, drove 40 minutes to get an oil change and the lady said she couldnt do it bc she takes her last one at 4pm even though they say their open from 9am -6pm. On the sign and on the website. Was very displeased
