This is bar none the best parts store east of the Mississippi. If you have been craving a personal small-town experience since retail went digital and started circling the drain, then this is the place for you. PLUS, Paul actually knows what he s talking about. It s like CHEERS, but with brake pads. 7 thumbs up!!

This is a great independent auto parts store. Paul the owner is fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. His prices are reasonable, and he's a nice guy who provides excellent customer service. After discovering New-5 Auto Parts I won't go anywhere else.

Unfortunately, this is the best kept secret and shouldn't be. Paul is very knowledgeable, helpful, and has a concern for his customers. His prices are very competitive, but most importantly he will provide great coaching and counsel. I don't want to put substandard parts on my vehicles so that I will have to repeat the work in another year or two. I have never had Paul try to up-sell me, but willing to share what works and what doesn't is very important to me. I have been a customer for over 30+ years for good reasons. Thanks Paul for your honesty and integrity.

They take care of me like I'm a daughter there. Every time I go in, the owner greets me with a smile and teaches me how to make the repairs I need on my own. Great prices, fast service, expert help behind the counter.The dad jokes are amazing and free of charge!

I have been going to New-5 Auto parts for over thirty years. Paul sells good quality parts at a reasonable price. For example, my wife took her car to the dealer for an oil change. She needed a new air filter which they offered to sell her for 39.95. I went to Paul and the same filter was 12.95.I had to install it myself, but had I not known how, Paul would have done a tutorial. Paul is extremely knowledgable and asks all the right questions to make sure his customers get the right part for their car and situation--sometimes a more expensive option is a good choice if the customer plans to keep a car for a long time, but sometimes an option is only more expensive because it is heavily advertised. Paul knows the difference. He will replace windshield wipers and check a battery to see if it will still hold a charge. Paul does all this with a smile and good humor. I even purchase items like windshield washer and anti-freeze from New-5. I am sure they are cheaper at large discount stores, but it is worth the small difference in price to insure that Paul is there when I need a part or advice that the other stores can't or won't provide. If you live in, or drive through, the Livonia area, there is no better option for auto parts or advice than New-5 Auto.

Paul at New 5 Auto Parts makes buying auto parts as fun as it can be. I've had considerable problems with my old truck. it's because of his knowledge, personality, and personalized dedication to his work, that I continue to go back to his reliable storefront right off of Newburgh and 5-mile in Livonia. I have and will recommend Paul & New 5 Auto parts to anybody who is in need of any automotive need.

I've been dealing with New-5 auto parts for over 20 years and have always been happy with the service and prices. Paul has always been very helpful and courteous. He takes the extra time to make sure that the customer is happy with their order and gives advice if asked. He will also recommend qualified people to do the job if the customer wishes. Overall, it's been a pleasure doing business with New-5 auto parts and dealing with Paul.

New-5 Auto Parts in Livonia is truely the best neighborhood auto parts store around. Not only does Paul have 30+ years of experience in the industry, but his interest in making sure you have exactly what you need, so that you don't have to continue to search for parts, has made his reputation what it is today. Every interaction with New-5 Auto Parts has been a positive one, and the promptness in finding reliable parts in a fast manner is paramount in keeping customers coming back...including me! I have gone to New-5 Auto Parts for years. The store is an old fashion auto parts store and not your ordinary chain auto parts store. Paul appreciates his customers and knows many by name. He is always helpful and makes certain you get the correct part, makes suggestions, and provides helpful advise in a way you will understand. If the store does not stock what you need, Paul will get what you need. Recommended.

How many chain auto parts stores do I pass driving here from Ann Arbor? Not sure but I m positive it s worth it. Just call up Paul, tell him what you need and he ll give you a fair price. More importantly, he knows when something won t work so you don t waste time.

This is by far the best auto parts store in the area. Paul, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond to help. I've been a customer of Paul's since I was a teenager (30 years ago). After all this time, I still only trust Paul. He makes shopping for auto parts and DIY auto repairs a fun experience!

If you need an older part, or a really knowledgeable counter man, you need to discover the best kept secret in Livonia. Paul is a veteran of racing and cars and has all the contacts to get you the best parts at discount prices. I have been going here for a few years and he is such a professional that he will suggest a lower priced part that is better than a brand named part. One of the best around. Give him a try!

Paul Bacigal (owner) is a breath of fresh air in the auto parts business. He helps solve your auto problems while keeping your financial woes in mind. While it seems that the common trend in the auto part business is to rip off unsuspecting customers, Paul is an honest and quality business man who values his customers. I went to New-5 when my brake line went out on my truck on a Sunday. Even though Paul was busy with his family, he took time out to get me the parts I needed while also helping me put them on. I recommend anyone in the greater Livonia area to take the time to visit Paul and New-5 auto parts to address any problems with your vehicles. Even if it is farther than the other local chain auto parts stores, you will not be disappointed with the quality and atmosphere of New-5.

This auto parts store is the best. If Paul doesn't have the part you need, he will get it quickly. And if you need help, Paul will help you -- and he is very good -- he knows how to do a lot of things. Oh, and his prices are very reasonable, even low. And Paul won't try to sell you something that you don't need -- he'll help you figure out what you need.

Paul the owner was of great help in replacing my battery, and got me a larger one that would fit my van. He even lent me tools to do the job. A wealth of knowledge and has many common and custom parts for any vehicle you might have. Definitely stop by for all your automotive needs!

This is the best Auto parts store not only in Livonia probably in the state of Michigan. Paul the owner bends over backwards for his customers. He keeps his prices down and will not sell you something just to sell it like allot of other auto parts stores. I had a battery on my truck i thought was bad. Paul checked it out cleaned the terminals and the battery is still working and that was 2 years ago. When ever i bring my son in to New-5 Auto with me Paul is always giving him stickers. If you have any questions about your car Paul will do his best to help you. He has even taken and done ride a long's with me to help me figure problems out. This store provides a great deal to the community in many ways.

You will find the owner not only to be the most knowledgeable person on auto parts but has the ear and care for the people he serves. I would never do any of my auto parts needs except through New 5 Auto.I have not only found a friend through Paul over the last 30 years but a man who I would do anything to help his fellow man and Community that he serves.I am going to miss you my friend but promise to visit when in town.

I have only gone to New-5 Auto one time, but will always go back. For auto-parts, they are the most reasonable prices around, Paul (the owner) is an expert, and only gives honest advice. I know nothing about cars and feel very comfortable in the hands of Paul at New-5 Auto.

A knowledgeable parts man is worth his weight in gold, and Paul is that guy. Turn brake rotors? Can do - in house! Windshield wiper refills? Got it, and will show you the right way to do it. Can't buy refills anymore at big box stores, but you can at New-5. Don't bother with auto parts websites; go to New-5 and support a local business, and experience great customer service!

I've been shopping at New 5 for about 15 years. As long as you can stand Paul's sense of humor you won't find better customer service. This is a true local store with an actual interest in giving their customers personal service with a smile. If they don't stock it they'll get it for you fast. Paul routinely lends tools to my father with no questions asked. If you have a question Paul has the answer even if it means costing him a sale. Even if I find a better price I won't buy parts anywhere else.

Was a little hesitant going to new-5 auto at first but I found their prices are cheaper or the same as the big auto part stores. Plus Paul is so knowledgeable about anything you may need to know about your vehicle. He will take the time and explain to you what you need to do, even if you call him on the phone while your working on you vehicle. I never go anywhere else now. They have a huge selection of parts and if he doesn't have it, he'll get it to you soon!

I've known Paul for almost 30 yrs., and he has always been attentive and accommodating to customer service, and competitive with prices. Someonewho owns and operates their own business puts their name and integrity on theline with each transaction and has a vested interest in doing it right the first time.Contrast that with an $8/hr. clerk at the chain retail outfits and the differenceis obvious. The independent businesses in our communities need and deserveour support.

Paul was helping another gentleman who had a large auto parts order by putting the wiper blades he'd bought into the wiper arms (I'd never before seen this level of service anywhere) but he did look up and acknowledge me and the other man I had walked in with a huge smile.When he'd completed that transaction he turned to the man, who was next in line. They had a friendly chat as the man only wanted to return several items that it turned out he didn't need.Paul was able to recommend to me that I buy both a 15 and 20 amp fuse to hopefully correct my cigarette lighter problem (needed to charge our smart phones. For an .85 cent item this would definitely save me another whole trip and I appreciated it a lot. What a great guy. I love having this local Livonia auto parts store located right down the road from my house.
