great experience, reasonably priced, exceptional care and service they re professionals. Very straight forward, I got a full tune up and picked up my car the same day. Not a big review person but this is the only local mechanic I d trust with my Audi. Saved me $ compared to dealer.

More than oil change. Always only what my Acura needs; fluids, flushes, and filters only when it needs them.Yeah, kinda like Acura service at Honda prices.Good folks too.

I had a funny experience here.. I came in one day from a Groupon code, when I got there I see an unhappy customer not satisfied because they are not accepting Groupon codes. Cops were also there because of the unhappy customer, supposedly he had a gun I don t know I didn t see it. So I said it s whatever I m still going to get an oil change and trans fluid because I called ahead and asked about a specific transmission fluid pump. But the officers asked for me to leave because the situation was intense. I came back the next day and they told me they can t do my tans pump and that s why I went there to begin with, I told him it s fine and that I was going to leave because I already seen the dishonesty in front of me. Instead he had someone under there already draining the oil forcing me to pay for his service and I ended paying $80 more then what I usually pay for an oil change. BEWARE!Service: Oil change

Sam and his crew are AMAZING! The top notch quality of their work is matched with their politeness and knowledge. I have been coming here for years to get oil changes and all around work done on my Camaro. From changing rotors and brakes to even painting my calipers, these guys know what they're doing and are professional. I recommend this shop for anyone who's looking to get work done on their car.

Ive been going to this shop near my home in Livonia for about 3yrs now for basically (quality) oil changes and most recently an Alternator & battery for my '00 Chevy Cavalier. Sam (the owner/operator) handled quickly & w/ quality workmanship recommending the most reliable & best remanufactured alternator as well as giving me a terrific price on fresh 2yr battery. His pricing is all around fair ..his workmanship top notch and I won't go anywhere else! He knows how picky i am about my 3 cars! '00 Chevy Cavalier ..'14 Ford Focus..'15 Lincoln MKZ 2.0 Ecoboost AWD. I only use best parts and best service shops.

*WARNING* If you value your car please do not use this shop. Went to get my $110 full synthetic oil change done and showed them the owners manual for my mercedes Benz which explicitly says the oil type. They put the wrong high mileage (my car had 27,000 miles on it) non-full synthetic oil and even admitted to it. (Also have dashcam footage of them putting it).. When I asked them to correct it they told me to leave their shop because other customers were in line.Bonus: this shop WILL NEVER admit to being wrong. Read their low ratings and you will see excuse after excuse, much like I'm sure this review will get. Don't say you weren't warnedService: Oil change

DON'T go to @Finish Line Oil Change & Auto Repair at 11900 Middlebelt Rd in LivoniaAfter several thwarted attempts to get my oil changed on Saturday, I was driving past this place which was empty. Thinking I could get immediate service, I pulled up and their sign said that a standard oil change was $25. I asked one of the guys there to confirm and he in turn asked someone who might have been the manager or owner. This person said that it would cost $45 for a synthetic oil change. I said okay, but just a standard is fine. And so then he said a standard would be $58. When I understandably questioned why a regular oil change would be $25, but for my car it would be $58, he said it was because my car took 5/20 oil instead of 10/30. This was nonsensical, since there is no appreciable difference in the cost between the two to explain a 125% change in price. Not to mention which the idea that it would be more expensive for a standard over synthetic is beyond crazy. It was obviously some kind of scam. I have just a little 4-cylinder compact Ford, nothing special. I've never had any charges beyond the standard at any place I've ever had my oil changed in 5 years. The notion that this would cost almost $60 for an oil change when the posted standard is $25 (and that's pretty consistent with other places) tells you they thought I could be duped.

Sam is a friendly and knowledgeable auto shop technician! I have received oil change services at Finish Line Livonia for about three years. The service is always excellent, and you can t beat the prices! Sam offered additional services beyond an oil change but did not pressure me. Other oil change establishments employ the use of aggressive sales tactics, but Sam utilized an uplifting tempo in his delivery of information. He made sure to make me aware of additional services (e.g., engine flush, wiper blade replacement), but did not make it weird when I declined. It is because of Sam s enthusiasm and his professionalism that I will return to Finish Line.Service: Oil change

Top of the lone service, no pressure sales or upcharges. They tell you if your car needs something but they don't push you to have them do it. Reasonable prices and friendly staff that remembers you. Service is impeccable and speedy. The only place I take the work van to.

Ethical crew with acceptable competitive pricing. You pull up, pull forward, and sit in your car while they work. Reviewers who say these guys overcharge to do unneeded work are probably just naive to their vehicles needs. They let you know if anything needs repairing, but aren t pushy. I ve been here multiple times, and have had more than just an oil change done, to repair minor problems with my car that I already knew about, but couldn t fix myself/was just putting off. So that proves their honestly. I would recommend to family and friends.

Needed a tire off a rim that was stuck on really good took it to finish line oil change on middle belt and Plymouth one of the guys cut it off in under 2 minutes and said no charge after which I checked out there prices and they are extremely fair I m going here for new tires on my 98 dodge ram.Thanks guys!

This place is absolutely wonderful. I won't go anywhere else for my oil changes. The staff are always quick and I really like that they show me my oil stick after they've changes the oil. They always punch the card and recommend services my Jeep may need. On the times I don't wish to have additional services they never try to pressure me and I always feel comfortable going back to have the service completed by them when time permits. They are a very reasonable business, clean, quick, kind. I love it. I always recommend them to friends and family who stay close by and my husband loves this business as well.

I came to finish line for and oil change on my truck. I had the best experience there that I ever had at an oil change. They was fast ,knowledgeable , and very polite to me I would recommend them to all my family and friends

My tire was going flat & I was lucky it didn't burst! I got a used tire in great condition for a good price. Was in & out in 10 min!

I ve been going here since I got my first car, the employees are all well suited for any job anyone might bring to them, with outgoing and comedic personality too. My most recent experience was one in most grateful for, I got a flat tire right under the railroad tracks before the store, I hit a big piece of concrete and had 5 PSI by the time I made it up the hill and managed to pull into the driveway of the shop. They assisted me and relieved a lot of stress with the customer service and there work. I was out of there within an hour and they saved me a whole lot of time and money. They have earned my trust to the fullest. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS A TRUSTWORTHY, PERMANENT CAR SHOP.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Stopped in for a basic oil change based on the many positive reviews this place has. I also ended up finding a Groupon for the exact services I needed which sweetened the deal even more.Staff is incredibly nice, and the service is quick as advertised. They let you pick what type of oil change services you want off of a list without them just trying to sell you the most expensive service they have available up front.There is a little bit of up-selling of other things like flushes, filters, etc. but that is to always be expected at these types of places. People who get annoyed or complain about this tactic don't understand the economics of how places like this operate. They make very little money off of the actual oil change itself (think of it as a loss leader), so the extra services they offer tend to be where they make actual money and for that I cannot fault them. As long as you go in knowing what you want ahead of time, there really isn't an issue. You can always just say "no thanks, I'm good".I left here feeling like I absolutely got my moneys worth, and that things were done properly. As previously stated, everyone I dealt with here was beyond friendly. I truly felt welcomed, and not like they just wanted my money and for me to get out.I will be bringing my vehicles here for oil changes from now on.

We brought our Jeep in to have the windows replaced, they worked for about a day and a half,Now not only do the windows not work but it always says our driver door is open keeping the dome lights on, so 200$ down the drain and need to pay someone eles to actually fix it4-5 years later I pray this place closed down

Came in and had 4 new tires put on my car. Service was great. I was in and out quickly and they didn't try to push any sales on me like other places in the past. Sam and his team are awesome..

I don t even know where to begin. I m THRILLED I found this place. I ve always had such high anxiety whenever I had to do any maintenance on my car. My first time going I was put at ease with Abe. This review is LONG overdo, I ve been a loyal customer for a little over a year now. I ve never been to a repair shop that has been so transparent! I never feel pressured to make decisions spot on and it s fully explained to me WHY I need it. If there s ever a time I don t understand, the team takes the time to teach me/help me until I feel comfortable. I know my car is in the best hands whenever I bring it to Abe.

Do no use this location if you have anything than above a general, standard grade sedan. Everything comes with them trying to upsell you on stuff you don't need; flush, filter, windshield wipers, etc. Their prices are attractive, but be prepared to pay $30- $50 more.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil changeServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Abe and the other staff members were very informative and helpful.Went in simply for a oil change, and they showed me my transmission fluid was very old along with my air filter being pretty dirty. Overall, a very friendly & educational environment with experienced mechanics at the core.Definitely coming back, group-on or not.

Had to replace both of my front tires on my car had two nice used tires with alot of life left on them. Got a good deal on them to. Guys are friendly. I definitely will bring my car back for an oil change. Keep up the good work.
