My coworker recommended them years ago and I'm so grateful. My daughters and I used to worry about being taken advantage of at some repair shops. But not here. They are honest and professional. They are the best!

So happy our daughter introduced us to Clint's Auto repair. They are the real deal. Very nice, great to work with making my vehicle safe to drive and very fast at getting work done. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Clint's for several repairs over the last year for my teenage son's used car. He is honest, friendly, fair and reasonably priced. He welcomes questions. Treats me with respect and has never made me feel like I don't know anything about cars because I'm a woman. His staff is always pleasant. I highly recommend this business and will continue to use this shop for any repair or vehicle inspection in the future. Do yourself a favor and pick his shop for your next repair, you won't regret it.

Tried to replace my blower motor resistor but couldn't get the old one out. They replaced it for me as a walk-in and charged such a low price I'm still in shock. We drive old cars. We will be back at some point, for sure.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I visited him around the end of march he replaced my alternator for the lowest price my jaw dropped I was shock I was expecting well over $400 and on top of that I believe he said but don t quote me there was a ground wire in my engine that was broke that was preventing my car from shifting out of first gear and he fixed that for free mind you all in the matter of a couple of days! He truly cares about his business, customers, and the cars he works on. A honest man 10/10 would recommend

This is a great place to go and have your cars worked on. Clint is such a kind, genuine and honest mechanic. He has always helped our family with anything we have needed for our car's over the last 2 years. His staff pays attention to the details, works well together, has great communication and a quick turn around.

This place is the best. In a Lincoln Park Facebook group, whenever someone asks for a good mechanic, Clint's and one other place always get mentioned the most by far. I always went to the other place for years but after they referred me to another place for a coolant leak and was told it would cost 500, I went to Clints for a 2nd opinion. The other place misdiagnosed it and Clint's fixed it for 120. A year later and I had another coolant leak. This time the other place tells me it's a tube that the trans has to be dropped to repair, would cost at least 1,000, and the part might not even exist anymore(this is an issue on my vehicle model, they weren't making it up, just mistaken). Went to Clint's for a 2nd opinion again, it was the same issue as before. The leak was in a different spot but running down a line that made them think it was something else at the other place birth times. Clint's warranties the part and charged 90 for labor.The other place is faster, Clint's takes awhile to get in, but I'm sticking with Clint's from now on. Best to have things done right.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went to clint's auto repair with a creaking noise underneath my car he test drove it with me and concluded that might be bad mounts on the car. He wanted to change them all and go from there. I told him that I had carshield and that it might be covered. He said that he would call around for the parts and that he would call me when he found them. He never called me back ( even after I called him) and that was in November 2022 I went back to my old mechanic and they replaced the back mount but the car still makes the creaking noise. So his diagnosis was wrong anyway. He seems like a nice guy that's about it

I've been to the shop one time, but after that first visit... I would drive an hour just to come over here to these guys. Easy to work with and very honest... Not to mention if you buy the correct parts they work with you on aftermarket stuff not just parts changers but true car guys.

Clint has 35+ years of experience, knows vehicle mechanics in and out, will bend over backwards to make sure his customers are satisfied and ensure the integrity of his work. Clint was outstanding all the way around. My last mechanic shop ripped me off and I was looking for a new place and I definitely found my new mechanic and all my family will be using him as well and I will be referring him.

I have had many pleasant experiences here. Clint and his family are 100% decent, honest and reasonably priced. Clint has without charge given me a run down of what was wrong with a van for my daughter and would not take a penny for his help. My friend also uses his service and quit his mechanic of 20 years to come to Clint's. Clint's is the best!

Been taking our cars to Clint for a little over a year. Him and his son are nice, honest guys. We first went to him, because a corporate chain in the area tried saying we needed a slew of repairs. When we took our car to clints for a second opinion, we found out through him that none of that work was needed. My family and I appreciate the hard work and honesty.

I can't praise Clints enough, they're everything that the advertise and more. I've been to so many places where the reviews didn't match up with the service, Clints is the only place I trust to take my vehicle. They always work with complete honest and integrity, especially regarding time and cost.

Awesome people! I m always skeptical when having to take my cars anywhere to get work done but these guys are honest and straight to the point. Couldn t be happier their right In the neighborhood. Clint and his wife took great care of us and truly showed they cared. A great family business with a good hearted vibe right when you walk in!

Took my daughters car here, her car had been sitting not running for 3 1/2 years won't go into details about that. Anyways had her car towed to Clint's on a Tuesday and by Friday her car was up and running. She had another issue took it back on Wednesday and by Thursday had it back. Very friendly and reasonable priced. Would recommend them to anyone. And my daughter is very happy to have her car back. Thanks a million guys.

Clint has taken care of every vehicle I have owned since I've moved back to Michigan! We won't go to anyone else even the dealership has turned out to be just well not good mechanics! They also are family owned and operated they just do great work!!!

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love Clint and his shop. I had an emergency that left me stranded in the middle of the road, called a local towing company who was also very very good on service (City Towing, Lincoln Park) and had them drop the car there. This was after normal business hours, but Clint just so happened to be there, he was very understanding and flexible. Out of 4 times I have needed Clint's services, I have NEVER had a bad experience. I've referred my parents and everyone I can because he is truly as honest as it gets. His prices are more than fair and the quaility of his work is A1. Not to mention, its a local family run business, which I'm a firm believer makes a difference from any chain or franchise. The turn around time is quick, quality of work is good, A1 customer service, and hes honest. What more could you ask for? If i could give 10 stars i would, if your looking for a new mechanic, this is your guy!#supportsmallbusiness

Great family run place with greater prices. If you're Downriver and not sure who to trust, I highly recommend them, hard to come by a company who truly cares for you and your car. Had a fuel leak that was repaired perfectly and didnt cost me an arm and a leg.Worth every dollar. Check them out.

I has to change my power steering and my blower motor. Every where else said 6 hours to do and over $250 to fix. At this location they cut that down and finished in maybe an hour. Clint does an amazing job at what he does he is fast and reliable and has better prices that anywhere in town. Very down to earth kind of folk here. If anything goes wrong with my vehicle, I'm definitely coming here just like everyone else should. Thanks clint!!

Clint is such a great business man and mechanic. They make you feel like family and fix what they say they are gonna fix and are very quick with the turn around. If you need any repair needs go visit and this place will become your new place to fix all your vehicles.

I took my older car that had to have power steering repairs done and they did excellent work. They were affordable, friendly and answered any questions I had with the repairs being done. No one would help me when i called i did not get his name but i believe he was the owner asked me if i could bring my car in. I was having radio problems in my chrysler 200 when i got there he hooked it up to the computer but due to technology i have to take it to the dealership. He checked all my fuses to make sure they were not blown. I asked him how much and he was not going to charge me i gave something for his time. I appreciate it from a hardworking mom with 3 kids that is struggling right now. If i need anything in the future i will be back. Thank you so much.

Don't have a single negative thing to say. My truck is almost 30 years old and they've saved me a ton of time and grief not having to do it myself. The main thing has been the pricing has been on the mark for them every time, lots of shops will round up or pad the labor these guys have been dead honest with me every time. I have three full service shops within a mile of me, I go out of my way to go to these guys and I'm a diesel mechanic.
