I've been looking for a car for a few day, and when I got to LA auto I told them what I was needing. Both employees was very helpful, caring, and informative on the vehicles. They answered all my questions as well. LA auto made my first time dealership car buying super easy. They also made ne feel so comfortable during the car buying process. Please, go see LA auto for a car!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!! 3 weeks later after pulling off the lot, my car is smoking ! I took the car and they charged me for a new part, the next day my check engine light came on and it was smoking from the back. I showed up on Monday morning and he told me his technician was out and come back with a smoking car and told me my car was running fine, but said that the Cadillac converter emissions and the O2 sensor code is what it was reading. I went back today when the front of my head started smoking again since that s what I originally paid $116 to get fixed on Friday. I have an entire video recording of him, asking me what he can do to get rid of me for good. I said fix my car and tell me what s wrong like a decent human being would do. He said fine give me your keys as long as you swear never to come back, he pulled my car around and then we scheduled it for 8 AM tomorrow. an hour later, called me and told me his lawyer advised him not to fix anything without it being paid for.. I ll be releasing the video once my lawyer tells me it s OK. Because now he broke a binding contract, which he made verbally to fix it as long as I left him alone. I have now missed 3 days of work trying to get a car I just bought fixed, with it not being fixed!

I recently purchased a used vehicle from LA Auto this week. I'm here to report that it was a good experience. The team did a nice job and I was extremely happy that they allowed me to do a deeper dive with my dignostic tools on the car and even drive it on an extended trip. This was important too me since the car I purchased was a EV. There arent many people who truly understand what it takes to examine an electric vehicle correctly. Goldie and the team were very patient with my requests and even detailed and charged the vehicle up for me a couple times. Gordie knows enough about the EV's to purchase well maintained models and sell them at a fair price. A lot of the commments and poor reviews that others made were spiteful in my opinion and Google should remove them. I really enjoyed the humble hometown experience and the classic look of the showroom. The only thing I would add is maybe an olds 1940's rocket 88 to the showroom. But I like old cars and historic buildings, and friendly dogs. Most of all friendly down to earth people.

Brandon charged over 400 to replace my battery just for my car to break down an hour later. He also threatened his lawyer when I disputed the charge on my card for his work . You will be better off going anywhere else.

Just got a Jeep Patriot from them from start to finish it felt like I was a priority. They did a great job with my credit and getting me and my wife approved and the Jeep runs drive as if it s new. The financial part was easy the test drive was good would recommend them to anyone who is new or doesn t have good credit

I have never given a review before, due to the outstanding service, going beyond what is expected, an atmosphere where the customer comes first, no pressure and honest environment I felt compelled too. I'm 68 years old purchased many vehicles at various dealerships and auto sales. Never and I mean never, have I been treated in such an excellent manner. I can not say enough about Goldie and the team. From looking at the vehicle to the purchase and after purchase it has been a real pleasure to work with a team with such integrity. I highly recommend LA Auto Sales. Do yourself a favor if looking for a good quality vehicle and excellent service check them out, you'll be glad you did.

You were very kind to me. Did me a great service and I got a great ride drives,looks sweet I'd buy from you in the future Goldy is the greatest. People should look at what you have to offer. You done me right and I'm so glad I stopped, looked, and purchased from you. People go look at what he has to offer he did me right he allowed my friend and mechcanic Tyson check the car out and boy did I get a great truck thank you so much

This car dealership makes you feel right at home. Everybody knows that uncomfortable anxious feeling that you normally get at a dealership well you do not have to worry about that here. Brandon is extremely helpful and brings a no pressure type of environment to the dealership. I'm a busy person so he worked with me to take care of everything well I was at work. And you don't have to worry about if he's lying or not he's right up front with any problems the vehicles have. I highly suggest this dealership it was a wonderful experience.

Horrible place definitely wouldn't let anyone do business. Drove 4hrs one way after told would have financial service get there. Told we live just outside the area. Called the credit union they said they don't don't even deal with our state. Took day off to deal with issues. Put i deposit to hold until following Saturday but 1st thing Monday still won't work with me about the deposit. Even though they won't lose out on sale. Guess from now on won't ever do business with small dealerships like this only national chain. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. I also reported them to the bbb and the credit union they use.

took my 2015 malibu in due to check engine light being on, with the code for salinoid intake valve being stuck off. got a quote from two places in davison for over $700 each, and neither could get me in for 3 or 4 days. called brandon at LA AUTO, he asked me to bring it in the next day, and said hed get me a quote within 24 hours. he lived up to that promise, and not only got me the quote, but he was over $300 cheaper than the previous quotes i had received. my car took less than 48 hours to get repaired from the time i dropped it off, and so far hes living up to the promise he made to get it fixed, as of now its running like a dream. fast, friendly, honest service, at a very affordable price. i am so impressed and satisfied, that we plan on taking my girlfriends cadillac in for service this week. thank you brandon and your staff! You're my new mechanic!!

I brought my horse trailer to LA auto and RV sales in February 2019. As of right now issues are unresolved.Simply for a safety inspection my wife and I were charged over $10,000. By Michigan law and the secretary of state, vehicle repair shopsare required to give estimates. No estimates were given to my wife and me by any employee including the owner manager. No list of parts used except for very few were in the final invoice. Joe, an employee of LA Auto was to paint the whole trailer. He only painted the back door plus four inches forward from the door.There were still rough rust spots where he didn t paint. The owner manager Goldie insisted that Joe painted half the trailer. We were charge $1000 for parts and $3000 for labor. When asked to see a list of the parts or painting materials Goldie refused to do so. By Michigan law he must list the parts, and he must disclose the parts to the customer on the final invoice. Doing business with Goldie was a nightmare. He looks like a nice grandfather type but he is anything but.He gave us no written estimates. By Michigan law he must. The Secretary of State enforces the law on estimates by repair shops. The paint job was to be $2000 as Goldie told us it would be. He did not give this figure in writing. Instead one day he brought me to his office and tells me that he made a mistake and the cost for the paint job would be $4000. Even if this estimate change had been on paper, a repair shop cannot go over the estimate by more than 10%.We have reported this man and LA auto to the Department of State and the Secretary of State who investigate repair shop fraud. I have a good friend who sells used cars. Unfortunately, these people and their profession have been given a blackeye by people like Goldie Spurlock.

SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! I do not normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for these crooks. I bought a 07' Outback that was advertised as "runs great and good as new" do not believe anything they say. I will admit I should have done more research before purchasing this vehicle. They said they did an overall inspection on the car but Brandon, the salesman, couldn't name one thing they did just that "it has been inspected." I have had a tirade of issues with this car. Don't be fooled by any of the other positive reviews.

They have nice vehicles ! BUT, a few minors things broke in the 1st two weeks after the purchase. In good faith, you would think that they would fix these low cost issues in order to keep the customers happy and possibly have repeat customers. They would not !! They wanted to charge us for every little thing. I would understand if it was 6 months later. The sales guy was very friendly and was not rude. I think they would have more happy customers if they would have fixed these minor issues. I probably will not go back for oil changes and service in the future. I fixed the minor issues myself and do like the car I bought !!!

I bought a used pick up and found the buying experience to be top notch, they have a professional, helpful and friendly staff.The day after I got the pick up home I found a problem and called the dealer. I told them I realize i bought the used truck "as is" with no warranty, but explained the problem and they said bring it back in and we will make it right. They are doing exactly that, fixing the issue at no cost to me. You can't find a more honest dealership and better people to work with. I know they have my business from now on.

Took my truck in for ticking noise and lack of power. They found out my truck needs a MAF sensor and I didn t want to get the Maf replaced so they said I can come pick up my truck and they didn t even diagnose the ticking noise and when I got to the shop and had to pay $100 for diagnosing and when I started my truck it was shaking and good thing I pop open the hood and they didn t put my intake back into place and didn t even clear the check engine light. All I wanted was to found out the ticking noise yet they can t diagnose the noise and to replace the Maf sensor cost $400

This past summer, my truck picked up a great deal of tree sap. I found it very difficult to remove. The only detailer that would take the job was LA auto. To my amazement, when I picked up my truck, not only was all sap removed but the truck looked like new. They detailed the inside, outside, under the hood and the truck bed. The truck was beautifully detailed at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them and use them again to detail a vehicle.

I had my vehicle detailed at this location. Goldie explained the process, daughter was kind enough to give me a ride back, and Brendan (son) made the process be flawless. Highly recommend this location. This is a family owned and operated business who cares about their customers. Nice job from start to finish!

We purchased a truck for our son from Goldie. Our son will be turning 16 in February. We were told that this truck had no major defects and was not in any accidents. This weekend my husband was going to do some work on it and found that the frame is broken badly and rusted thru. I called LA and was told sorry, you purchased as is! Do not buy anything from this place. They even did some work on the vehicle before we purchased it as they have a service department and this damage was very noticeable but never disclosed to us. We paid full price and my son will never be able to drive it.

Customer beware! My wife and I took my 2-axle Walton Horse trailer to La Auto & RV Sales and Service in February of this year, 2020. Little did we know that the Michigan Secretary of State requires repair shops to provide written estimates and an itemized list of all parts used. We were not offered nor did we receive estimates for any of the work done at the Spurlock garage, LaA Auto & Trailer Repair and Service (LA Sales). Very few parts were listed. Words such as hardware and supplies were used. We were told that a tech by the name of Joe painted the trailer. Come to find out later, from the owner, after we found rust spots in the paint, Joe only painted 50% of the trailer the owner of LA Sales was only going to pay for the part that was painted. Taking the horse trailer to Victory Custom Trailers to have La Auto's work inspected, my wife and I were told that only the rear entry door and four inches forward of the door on the sides of the trailer had been painted. Fully, more than 90% had not been painted by Joe much less 50% claimed by the owner, Goldie Spurlock. The paint job cost $2840 for painting less than 10% of a 20 foot horse trailer and $1000 for "PAINT SUPPLIES." Mr. Spurlock, in front of my wife, refused twice to give me an itemized list of the paint supplies. No estimate was given for any of the work done, mechanical or painting. Victory found all of the brakes to be wet due to La Sales installing improper seals. The brakes were cleaned and the wheel bearings grease repacked by a tech at Victory. La Sales botched bearing work cost my wife and I $220 to Victory. We thought about taking Goldie's offer to allow him to fix their problems. He called them mistakes. Mistakes are honest and unintentional. It was work done with an I don't give a damn attitude. For sure, what this couple doesn't know won't hurt them your techs must have thought. Grease on the brakes could potentially have injured or killed our horses and us. Goldie did offer to paint the whole trailer at his cost, but for the time your painter was to have the trailer (in front of my wife) you said we would not know of its whereabouts nor the painter's name. With the flagrant dishonesty and refusal to give a complete parts list and written estimate documentation., we refused to let this garage fix its careless work. We feared prolonged contact with Mr. Spurlock.The nightmare and the amount paid to La Sales was in the amount of $10,800 for parts and labor. If need be, if it takes spending more money to see to it that this shop never does to other owners of horse trailers that which it did to us, then so be it.

I've had both good an bad experiences here, I bought a truck, and over the last 3 years of owning my truck, I've spent a lot an I mean a lot of money, like enough to buy a newer vehicle, but I love my truck, they were able to let me have my truck an I relentlessly went in an made my payments like clock work! Now I've had to have a little bit more work done an tho the price isn't horrible compared to what I've spent before its difficult to pay for right at this moment, dont get paid until the first of the month, an we get told we can't have it until it paid in full, so were irritated with LA Auto, just not very business savoy when it comes to loyal customers, if its not under my warranty, you won't get our business anymore!

I bought a 2013 chevy Silverado from la auto .but then my back tire fall off 3 weeks later only had the truck for 3 weeks now mybe drove it 300 miles.they say they will pay half for it but they did safty inspection which incoulds checking lug nuts.it doesn't seem fair at all that they are making me pay for half of it. When its there fault. I shouldent have to check my lugs after diving 300 miles.i had never had a tire come lose or fall off in 8 year ive worked on cars.this place is a joke would never let any of my friends or family do business there.

Sold my money a 2003 jeep liberty told her it needed nothing.. turns out it needs a whole frontend and a tranafer case this place sells nothing but junk vehicles
