Great bunch of guys, it's half gun store and half antiques. Unfortunately as of now they no longer offer FFL (gun transfer) services due to the amount of paperwork required now by the tyrants. They still buy and sell used firearms however and have a range of selection of firearm accessories such as lower receivers, magazines, mag loaders, sights, ammo, etc.

1st time shopper, life time customer! This place is great. They truly make buying a firearm fun. The owner immediately puts you at ease and has a wealth of firearm knowledge as well as many other topics. His wingman keeps the laughs coming. Happy I decided to shop here!

My first purchase of a hand gun could not have been more comfortable the owner was patient and showed me the in and out I will be back to get another gun or just to talk they treat you like family!!

I have visited Hellebuyck's three times now. The first time was curiosity, the two subsequent visits were to purchase firearms. Both purchases were pleasant experiences and RC is a super nice guy and he will not make you feel badly if you are new to firearms. My first purchase was a used handgun which turned out to be a good deal and a solid firearm. My second purchase was a new pistol. I wanted to avoid the difficulty of making this purchase at big box store (a recent purchase at a big box store took 3 attempts and more than 6 hours that I will never get back). I remembered what a great experience the Trading Post was so I headed out (it is more than 50 miles from my home). Calling in advance they put the gun aside for me. When I arrived, I was able to purchase the gun, extra magazines and self defense ammo (for a different firearm) including the background check the whole thing took less than an hour and during that time they handled my transaction and other customers, we had some nice conversation and I left a satisfied customer. Another thing about this place, they are super knowledgeable and I cannot stress this enough, NOT gun snobs.They're lucky this place isn't in my neighborhood, because I'd be cluttering up the place all the time.Lastly, for me at any rate, it's a gun store with an antique shop inside.Keep on keeping on!

Great selection and great staff. Not your typical gun store guys that treat you like your dumb. Highly recommend Hellebuycks if your a first time buyer or a gun nut.

Usually not one to leave reviews, but this place is amazing. I bought my first handgun and had it shipped here quick and the guy was very helpful. I recommend highly if anyone is looking for a good FFL dealer in the area.

This is my go to place for anything I need. RC is awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I do not even bother going anywhere else. He offers everything you need. Customer service is great, products are great, FFL transfers are easy and quick. 5+ stars.

Honestly my best experience in a store of any kind in my entire life!Got to see my gun opened up and had the exact mag I was looking for!Great guys, great business, great prices!

Purchased several firearms here. Customer service is great, selection and price were also great. If you are looking to shop for firearms, supplies, it is on the smaller side, but WELL worth the stop here. Hands down better than the the big box store. It's like getting a haircut at "Floyd's barber shop" in Mayberry!

Recently purchased my first pistol here. RC is an awesome salesperson! Of course I had a lot of newbie questions. I didn't hear him laugh, or see him roll his eyes once. He showed me how to disassemble/assemble the pistol. I will definitely return here, if I ever decide to make another purchase.

Went in shopping for a rifle, ended up getting every question answered respectfully and honestly. If you're new to gun ownership or a seasoned vet, this is the place to go. 10/10 I'll be shopping here often for sure.

Very helpful, friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable - everything you need to purchase with confidence. The first place you should stop to buy a new or used firearm (or antiques with a real old Michigan feel).I look forward to buying from them again.

Its the only place i will go to purchase a new firearm and accessories.RC is always kind, honest and fair!Weather its a purchase, trade in, or sell!I give him 5 stars and recommend everyone to stop in and check his shop out!!

Great selection but it seems like the prices are so much higher then the surrounding stores they offer very low prices on your firearms tell you there not worth much then it will be on the shelf a few weeks later double sometimes triple what he offered you to begin with not to mention the prices on his used guns are more expensive then what there going for online hopefully the price yanking will stop wouldn't expect this from a mom and pops style shop hope the future is better great guy greedy buiness man

The German at this place is really helpful... I was just in there and bought a Glock 17 gen 5 and he took my 357 for a trade in... Gave me what I thought was a reasonable price for my 357... Special order the Glock gen 5 for me and did all the paperwork on it... I normally do not leave reviews but this place deserves six stars not five... Thank you so very much...
