This place is just great. Clean, updated, and the staff are friendly. If you re planning to bowl, this is the place to go. Oh and did I mention they have amazing food here as well?

Great place for the family & friends to have a night of bowling. The kids loved it & they love the food! Onion rings & the fries were great. Will come again.

I wasn't sure how to feel about the bowling ally when I first got there but it was actually quite fun. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the bar area to order drinks was right there, the screens were very user friendly and the over atmosphere was awesome! I am very glad I came!

It's been a good decade since I've been into Gerlach's and it's essentially the same but also better at the same time. Still the nostalgic lanes and they've added on more. The kids had fun, adults had fun, snacks were good and the staff were super helpful, one person especially, but I didn't get his name. I had to go to the desk for a few things and he was super polite every time even though I felt like a pest. We're definitely coming back to play again. We're not the best bowlers but it was a great time!

I just wanted to start by saying I ve never felt the need to write a review for a place before. I come to Gerlach s all the time and the workers are so so nice. They re all very helpful and I actually love going here! My complaint is about a woman I was speaking to over the phone this morning. She was just very rude to me and I m not sure if she meant to be but I have never been more angry over a phone call. I asked if two lanes would be open tomorrow at 7 and I felt like the woman gave me the hardest time. I work two jobs in customer service and I understand it can be overwhelming but the way she was talking to me is not how you re supposed to speak to people that are willing to pay you for your service. Didn t ask her name but I should have because the reactions and responses from this woman when I was asking her simple questions seriously made me never want to walk into the building again. Talk nicer to your customers over the phone.

Great family atmosphere. Cheap prices and pretty decent food. All was well until the jukebox played 4 Alice In Chains in a row. I mean I can handle 3 in a row max but 4 made me just want to sulk in the rain with no umbrella.

Fun time. Great prices for bowling and shoes. The bathrooms could use a renovation. It makes me wonder if I should order food from the kitchen. But the coffee was good.

We went on a Friday afternoon best bowling experience I've ever had. Thank you. My mother and I had a wonderful time. Highly recommend great food atmosphere and things to do for kids of all ages.

Our group had fun bowling, playing pool and trying to master the claw machine. A couple of us have larger feet and Gerlach's had no issue accommodating us, the staff was very friendly.

A good summer place to bowl but the prices are ridiculous now. The last time I went it was $40 for 3 games. The refills also were 1.50 when previous I was charged .25 cents. Ball return is very slow causing the whole game to go slow. Not very well oiled and the black lights are never on. Sad. Used to be my go to bowling alley and I'm 20 minutes away.

Awesome family owned bowling alley. Lots of history. The ownership is kind and knowledgeable, all employees seem to follow that lead also. Simple menu for food, pop, and alcohol available.

Awesome place to have birthday parties at!!! Ask them for details, you can also rent a banquet room!!! There's additional parking in front.

Great staff and the owner (Dan) is one of the nicest guy I met. Was here to installed new ball lift, quite the busy place but all the staff are very helpful. I was amazed by the 24 hundred jigsaw puzzle hanging up on the wall.

Fun, food, friends and family are some of the adjectives I would use to describe this gem in Lapeer. The family run establishment has been here for over 100 years. Every year they update some portion of the business with the latest and greatest equipment. Just a few years ago they added even more lanes. Whether you are a competitive bowler or you just want to have fun with some friends or family, this is the place to go! The pro shop is one of the largest in the State if not the country! Dan the owner is one of the best and will have just the right equipment for you. Congratulations to the Gerlach family for working tirelessly to make this place an asset to our community!

Great alley. 1st time there bowled on the bigger side, 2nd time was on the side with 5 lanes- prefer the bigger side but cool set up especially if you were bringing a group/party to that side. Everything was clean as a whistle, including the bathroom. Fountain pops good, food looks good-cant wait to try it. Charged more the 2nd time? Long haired guy working the register seemed bothered we came in, but everyone else was really nice especially the woman who helped us the 1st time. Use TouchTunes, it's more fun with music! Will definitely be returning.

The woman there took a little girls bowling ball without saying anything. When we asked what happened to the ball she was using the guy said she took it because the girl looked too old for that weight. She could have just told us that. This was the 7 year olds first time bowling. Not the friendliest atmosphere that s for sure.

What a cute little bowling alley! If my boyfriend didn't take me here, I wouldn't have noticed it. It's on the tiny side of a bowling alley but it feels like home in there. It's cozy, everyone's down to earth and friendly. No one's watching you or caring, there are tons of ball choices especially for the children! They have light up balls that light up when they're going down the lane and they have ball rolling assistance for the little kids, a little ramp they can put the ball onto instead of throwing it. I highly recommend coming here, my kids loved it.

We went to Gerlach's for a Bday party and had a good time. The bowling alley was pretty clean and the staff was mostly friendly.

It was nice and quiet for a Friday night, took the wife there after dinner we had fun. Only issue is the foul kept going off on only me even when I threw from well behind the line. I've bowled here on leagues before really enjoy going here.

We attended a birthday party here, and two hours made for a nice visit. Staff was amenable. Typical alley food was acceptable. Be sure to park behind in the large lot and not in the strip-mall facade parking on Genessee. The place has a nice throwback aura. We would go back.
