I called asking for a spark plug replacement quote on my 2017 escape. The person on the phone (sorry I don t remember who I spoke with) suggested I go to the dealer. Because the most common cause with the spark plug code was actually a much bigger issue.Turns out my car did have the bigger issue. But I really appreciate belle tire giving me this advice before I brought it in and paid for spark plug replacement on top of this larger issue. This is also why my husband brings all the work vehicles here. Good work, and good advice. Thank you

Had a flat on the hwy near by, and was about 6 hours from our destination and few hours from home.... They very kindly recommend who to call in the area for towing and had the tire we needed in stock. When we finally got there they took our car right away, while we waited with 3 small kids.... They got the new tire on in no time and had us back on the road super fast! And much faster then expected! Thanks for being so quick and very caring on the phone and at the desk! Very nice people!

Very good service. I was offered a lower cost option (still with "insurance") when I asked. My vehicle has over 300,000 and did not want to invest too much in tires currently. They were very courteous and did not pressure me in anyway. I would recommend this location.

Just a great experience at Belle Tire Lapeer. From the start Tim Rowland was excellent to work with. I knew, I needed tires and brakes. You always wonder about the cost. Tim was straight and upfront all the way. They did all 4 tires, all 4 brakes and a 4 wheel alignment. Price was not an option, my wife drives this car. Belle Tire price/charge was half of what I was thinking. Plus now I have all these warranties, good at any Belle Tire locations. We moved back to Michigan, after being away 14 years. Belle Tire will always be our guys. Also I didn't meet them, Mechanics/Technicians Edwin Wilson, Dylan Johnson, A. Carter and J. Taunton all deserve credit. Tim has an excellent crew and nice location. Immediately I notice the difference driving home. Thank guys and Belle Tire, you deserve more than 5 Stars!

*Highly Recommend* *Friendly Staff* *Great Service*Their prices are a very reasonable & their quality of service is Outstanding!I was very surprised when I looked out into the shop & seen the tech using a hand torque wrench!!! Very impressive, I've never seen a auto repair shop use one before, talk about quality!They offer a nice clean waiting area with vending machines.

Took my car in for tires and brakes back in June 2023, they inspected all brakes and told me that the front are just fine and rotors are as well.1 month after new tires and back brakes, I have a rumbling. Called up there and I was told that they may need to be broken in. okay...Fast forward 5 months and only 3k miles as this is not my daily driver. I have a rumbling and it's worse than it's been. I take it in and they warranty the back rotors, but now they tell me the front are bad (after they said nothing was wrong with them at all back in june) and that's where the majority of the rumbling is coming from... it may be now, but due to incompetence on their part.My write up for today after picking my car up:"Customer had noise from brakes and we warrantied out the rear and rotors. After warranty out the rear rotors the rumble noise was still present and it is in the front. Advised customer that front and rear rotors were needed and they declined replacement of the front pads and rotors."I would expect my car to be in the same or better shape as when I initially dropped it off in June. It is not, it is in worse shape. I was told that it must have been a misdiagnoses on their part, but I didn't have the rumble when I needed brakes and tires...I declined, because why would I spend another $850-$1000 on brakes at a place that couldn't get it right in the first place. I'm not sure what I plan on doing moving forward, but I will seek some counsel on my next steps. Thanks for taking advantage of people.They also didn t notice I reset my trip meter and drove my car about 80 miles

Had new tires put on during CoVid. Always had an issue with slow leak on one, but when you live an hour away and don't drive it much I just would add air when needed. Now 3 years later, still slow leak, but another tire has a nail in. Wanted to make an appointment to get it in. Put on auto hold for 15 minutes, listening to advertisement. Then it hung up on me. Called back and another auto hold. Hung up, called back and a person asks if I can hold again. This is very unprofessional. Will find someone who is staffed to help people. A customers time is important, and I don't have time to be on hold for 45 minutes.

Hunter worked on my car, I had a very small leak that took some time to find but he repaired it. Hunter was very kind and sweet, I will only be using Belle Tire for all my tire and repair needs. I wanted to add that it was FREE, other places charge anywhere from $15 to $25 to fix a flat. Or even to che k for a flat. You want awesome service with a respectable man go see Belle Tire and ask for Hunter.

Rude! Mechanic in bay stops as if he wants me to get out of the way, so I do and then he proceeds to scream at me as i was leaving. Also the 5th time the car has been taken there as the issue continued to not be corrected.

Try to continue to go here for tires and work... sometimes it's OK, this time miserable... 1 week I had dropped my car off from Thursday to Monday for multiple inspections and work... was suppsed to check out struts etc, breaks, and standard maintenance like oil change and rotate tires.Call on Friday morning said $3000+ for all the work wich was way over kill, the guy doing the inspections basically told the guy calling me I need all the ''miles stone stuff and said the front end need all replaced.. which was totally obnoxious... finally got to talk to the tech to explain what was needed... I already basically knew I need a new strut mount... so we agreed on quick struts that came with new mounts for both sides... they said nothing else was wrong... I was leaving for a long facility trip the fallowing week and had heard some issues with breaks but thye said nothing wrong?So I got the car back and drove it for a day and the passenger front basically locked up and made awful grinding sound.. had to drive it back over an hour to the shop and to be told the caliber is locked up and I'll need all new caliber, rotors and pads.. mind you I just had a huge bill that I put on there card.. but since this new bill was separate they said I was over the limit this time... where as the week before was approved for the full amount...the manager just said "Yeah, it's been a long day here today..."So to fallow up, they inspected and missed the breaks issue, tried to up charge me insanely on stuff that wasn't needed, when I went to help a fellow camper jump there car I found that my hood prop rod was now gone and when I did my own oil change later because I was losing oil quicker than ever before found the used a rubber/plastic washer ony oil pan drain and it had got warm and soft and would lose oil when driving alot!I have a huge work sheet at this store for multiple cars and this type of work is unacceptable when my family and I are at risk. Especially when I basically told them what was wrong and they still screw it all up... and again no help or concern from manager to make my experience better.. they tried to discount the breaks but it wasn't any cheaper than going to an actual mechanic shop... the reason I had them do it all was cause the tires need rotated and we were out of town for a few days so hoped they would just get it all done cause I don't have time most weeks to leave the car because it is a work vehicle... will NOT let them do any work in the future!

So far so good, I placed an order online and was promptly called by a representative from the store to confirm my order and appointment time. He mentions that the tire size I chose might be a little smaller than stock, so I thought about it for a little bit and was able to change the order with no hassle. I'm hoping the rest of my experience goes well, and will update the review upon completion of service.

They above and beyond to explain my situation and get the problem corrected. Like all Belle tire locations they have a tendency to oversell you , but it is usually in your best interests. The assistant Mgr Kenny was very helpful

These guys are the best! I took my car in after I was told by another shop that I needed some work done. They were so honest and told me I didn t need that specific work done and showed me exactly what DID need to be done. Not only did they show me what actually needed to be fixed but they went into great detail about what was causing the issue and how it impacted how the car drove. I appreciate so much how in depth & honest they were. I will be taking my car back there for sure in the future!

Was my go-to tire shop, my past few visits haven't gone well, multiple trips to get new wheels properly balanced, and worse, damage to multiple wheels. I won't be back, unless its an emergency. The guys up front are great, the guys in the back... Be Careful!

It's been 4 years since my first review and I just have to say that Mark and Dave and Tim and the rest of the people that work there are the highest quality, Honest and Relaible you can get. These guys treat you like Family and go out of their way to make sure you are #1-Safe, #2 Treated Honestly and Fairly like Family and #3 Given you a great deal at a fair price. This is the place I sent my 82 year old Mother to in order to get her car serviced.What more could you ask for?!I recently had to go back because a tire was damaged from our Wonderful Michigan Roads(Yeah Right) and it broke a belt. They were right on top of things and even pointed out that I needed some work on my tie rod ends , Which I will do myself. I bought 2 new tires and received a nice discount since I purchased the tires there originally. Had the work done within an hour even though I didn't get there until 4:30pm. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks especially to Mark Abbey, A great guy!!!

The store manager Mark is great to work with and he helped me choose the best tire option. He is friendly and very knowledgeable about all things tire and raising kids! I have been doing business at the Lapeer store for several years now and they have always taken great care of my tire needs. This is the best tire store I have ever dealt with, I highly recommend this place.

Major blow out of my struts and sway bars ..Matthew Groulx and the staff quickly diagnosed the problem and moved quickly to find the replacement part and replaced all the broken part ..the experience was amazing thank you Matt and team from BelleTire

Our car started having big problems when we were out of town. Belle worked us in last minute & were able to fix the issues same day and get us back on the road. Nathen & his team worked hard to educate us on the problem, listen to our needs & make sure our car was safe to drive.

Very poorly managed and the technicians try to take advantage of you. I've been a mechanic for 28 years and I tried to get an alignment knowing my front end parts were good and they tried to tell me my ball joints were bad. Needless to say I won't ever go back.

Extremely disappointed!!! I brought my vehicle in because it was shaking at high speeds. I knew all it needed was a tire balance.They tried to sell me new brakes, control arms, windshield and tires without even fixing the problem. If I didn't take it to the tire place down the street, it would have cost me $2400 instead of the $38 for a complete tire balance. The brakes are only six months old and had well over 60% life on them. Control Arms looked fine. Tires had some wear, but was informed they should get me another 20K miles easily.Just very disappointed as I have gone there many times without having this issue. Can't imagine how they could easily take advantage of other customers who are not mechanically inclined.

its a good shop. busy, which is a good sign mostly. well organized. got me in on a Saturday afternoon for an alignment. none of the shops in Caro (where i live) would help me out until at least one week later! belle tire is decent organization and offers a suprising amount of auto repair services in addition to full tire and wheel service. I'll be bringing vehicles here again in the future and i do 75-90% of my own repairs and maintenance.

Matt was so helpful today. Came in towards end of day and was able to get me in and fixed up within a matter of hours. Bonus that they did a courtesy service because they honor their products and service! AMAZING JOB, thank you Belle Tire!!

Belle Tire in Lapeer is wonderful. Good service, reasonable prices, and great people. But I wanted to especially call out their customer service. I ran into a rebate issue recently - I had accidentally been given incorrect information on the amount of a specific rebate. The store manager, Mark Abbey, told me he would follow-up with corporate to see what he could do.While I appreciated the sentiment, I wasn't too optimistic, given my experience with corporate help desks. Imagine my surprise when *the next morning* I received an email from Belle Tire's corporate customer service, who took some action and made everything all right.This is exceptional customer service, and I highly recommend Belle Tire in Lapeer, MI.

Great prices, friendly service and walk-ins welcome. Great military discount. Call the team today and they will get you fixed up. They just put some new shoes on my 18 Chevy. Took less than an hour to install and I was on my way. This is the only place to go in Lapeer! If they cant fix it sell it you don't need it. Thank you again from your local parts guy.

Went to get tires rotated and balanced, paid 80 dollars, and go see my truck while it's up in air as they are putting tires back on see a bunch of rocks in my tireThey tell me it's doneOk so I take off it stopped the wobble for a few min til the rocks come out now it wobbles again so I call they tell me that should not be a problem I'm like really aren't to Supposed to check and clear the tires off before you balance them. How are you gonna balance a tire with rocks in it? Then, when I do 7580 down a road and the rocks come out now, it's not balanced anymore. So I wouldn't go to them to have your tires balanced. Because they don't do it properly, they do not remove the pebbles out of the tread. They just balance it as it is. So when you pull out and you lose a pebble or 2 your tires off-balance again? There was a waste of $80. I should have took a picture.
