This shop has been treating my family (4 different autos) right for several years now. My truck was just in for several undiagnosed problems. What I thought needed fixing was actually two other things. They fixed the problems and did it very promptly. So glad to have a trusted mechanic.

I came in last week to get my break light replaced and it couldn t have been a better experience. Everything was quick, easy, and inexpensive. The people working were fantastic and super helpful. They definitely made this an easy and stress-free experience. I would definitely come back here for whatever future car needs I have, as they did an amazing job.

Very knowledgeable staff, courteous and professional. Over all great experience at a fair price, not only will I return but I will surely recommend them to everyone. It's getting harder and harder to find great service at a fair price and these guys knocked it out of the park. Thank you!!

Stopped by Tuffy today and was surprised by how nice they were and professional too. They put air in one of my tires and let me know I am going to need to replace my tires before long. They were very friendly, courteous, and professional. I will definitely be going back again soon. They do oil changes there too. Love it! Thanks Ted!

My daughter let the door fly all the way open and the spring fell off. No where else was open , but tuffy. I stopped and in no time they fixed my problem! Definitely recommend them to anyone with issues on their vehicle! Thanks guys!

I went to Tuffy on Pennsylvania and it was my first time there. I had brakes grinding and needed it looked at asap. They fit me in and fixed my brakes that same visit. I even saved money because they were running a special on brake pads and rotors. It was a Win in my opinion and I will be returning as a happy customer if ever needed in the future. Thanks again for your service Mavis/Tuffy.

Have nothing but fantastic things to say about Tuffy!! Have been coming here for years and the consistency in their service is unmatched. Time after time, they continue to demonstrate quality work with extremely competitive prices. They have fantastic communication, spent extra time educating me on everything that was wrong as well as helping me prioritize what absolutely needed to get done at the moment vs. what could wait longer. I believe Ted was the gentleman who helped me this time around thank you Tuffy!!!

This place was great. Had a flat tire, they got me right in on a Sunday morning. They got my tire fixed and got me on my way. They saved me when I was in a pinch. Thank you so much!

Stopped in today when I noticed a nail stuck in my rear tire. Friendly staff quickly plugged the hole up and I was on my way in no time. Went here because there are few tire shops open on Sundays but will certainly go back to them in the future for any tire issues. Great shop!

Very helpful and kind workers. Patient. Helped me with all my questions. They're working very hard in there and the free tire plug for the Google review is such a blessing, especially since they don't have to do that but it's appreciated and I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quality job done at a lower price then other car lots and/or body shops. My wife and I left very happy and satisfied with the service we received.

I went and got an oil change done Sunday morning at Tuffys and then when I was driving it back home I stopped at the gas station and it started making a loud rattling sound then when I got home my battery light came on. The next morning my heat didn't work in my car. I took it back to Tuffys the next day and they couldn t figure it out, 8 minutes before they were closing they came and told me that they drained my battery and it s not fully charged I can either take it and try to make it back home or leave it here overnight and they can charge it. My car was working just fine before taking it to them for my oil change!

This is the second Tuffy location I've been to in Lansing, and they are still 5 stars in my book! Needed my brake pads/rotors checked and changed. Called in the evening, and they had me done by lunchtime the next day.Tim was kind, helpful, and gave a fair price. The lifetime warranty on the brakes didn't hurt either! Will definitely be using them again

Had a flat and needed a new tire. They told me they could have me in and out in less than 30 minutes...and they did. A lot of people make false claims for business, these guys backed up their talk. I highly recommend this location.

I took a car I was considering buying there to have it checked out. The guy, Ted, was really nice. He was honest and he seemed genuine. I ended up not purchasing the car. I will recommend them to others and I will go there again.

Got my brake pads rotors done in a very timely manor by Butch! Thank you!And the manager at the front desk Ted was very helpful and pleasant to chat with wail I waited!Definitely recommend this location based on the lovely staff and speed of service!

The guys were amazing! They drove it, assessed the situation and were very honest. They pointed out things I wasnt aware of especially when I was told by other mechanics everything was fine. Service was fast and efficient! I appreciate them and will gladly go back to them! Kudos! Shout out to the team! You're awesome!

I came to get service on my vehicle I could hear a rubbing sound loud made me quite uncomfortable I came in the men went to work. It was a welcoming experience they were pleasant and polite. Things you don t see often I felt comfortable and waited on my other ride to come didn t want to hover over the mechanics while they did the repair work they did come out and show me a itemize list of what needed to be done and explained everything now I m headed the bank to pay them hopefully prayerfully this is all that I ll have to spend blessings. Cinnyp / Cynthia Holmes $680 I was told by my brother I was over charged for a wheel bearing!!! Took 1 hour & 30 minutes to complete and test drive their work !

Discount Tire told me something was wrong with my car and it wasn t the tire that was the issue. I took it here expecting to have to pay for a huge repair. I call in the morning to see what the damage is. Turns out they did a full inspection and everything was totally fine. They gave me a discount on the inspection. And didn t try to sell me on ANYTHING. I ve never had that experience at an auto shop. These guys are honest and don t try to take advantage of you. 100% will bring my car here for any issues in the future.

Replaced all 4 of my brakes and did a brake flush. I had no ride to get me home before they completed the work at 6 so Jim had one of the technicians Charles bring me home then pick me up the next morning when the work was complete. That is great service! My car is safe now and no squeaky brakes or grinding rotors. Let them help you out!

I suspected my car had a coolant leak and dropped it off here to get it checked out. Ted and Mike worked on my car to find the issue and Ted took the time to thoroughly explain what was wrong and all of my options for repair while also patiently answering all of my questions. I hope I don't have to come back anytime soon, but Tuffy is my go to shop for any future issues!

I am really pleased with the repairs they did. Excellent quality of work. but most importantly excellent customer service where they treat to professionally unlike the previous place I went to that made feel so unwelcome. This is what makes the difference between a place that wants your business and ones that don't. I will definitely be back here next time my car need repairs

I came in to get some diagnostics done and confirm my suspicions on my rear brakes and rotors needing to be replaced. They worked very quickly and let me have a look when it turned out to be my rear calipers seizing that was causing the damage to my rotors. All said and done; they finished replacing the calipers, rotors and breaks, and had me on my way in just a few hours and the cost was more than reasonable.

Made my day! Jim honored the coupon that brought me in even though he hadn t seen it before. Charles made sure my Caddy was taken care of properly, going above and beyond the call of duty. Great business with people that care.I intend to bring the family vehicles to them starting with my daughter s Escape this week.Hard to find a gem like this these days! 5 stars!

Had a flat on a Sunday, they were the only tire place open in town. They ended up not having my tire but still did everything they could to patch my tire and make it last till another one. They got me back on the road for an incredible price, and it took less than an hour.

Great service! They squeezed me in on a Sunday to help with a tire leak even though I didn't have an appointment. They were excellent about keeping me informed of what was going on with my car and were very thorough in their checks. I felt like the employees genuinely cared about my issues and wanted to make sure my car was in the best possible shape.

Don took really good care of me after I went for an oil change and my transmission oil cap was not put back on. He made sure to make things right. He sent a tow truck to get my car and also consulted me on some issues with my car and fixed it for free. I m very appreciative to Don and his team for fixing my issue in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend this oil change and auto service because they make things right and value their reputation and reliability with customers. Thanks much Don!
