We just had the most wonderful experience working with Brandon and Melissa at Tripp s Collision Lansing facility.The estimate was done without an appointment and they answered all my questions plus actually worked with the 3rd party entity who was covering the cost.The repairs were done on time at the agreed to price and with my extreme satisfaction.On a scale of 1-10 this customer gives them an 11!!!!Carl FarrarGrand Ledge, Mi.

I hit a bambi deer, had a rental from my insurance and my agent wanted weekly updates to continue coverage. My car repair took 45 days / 6 weeks+3 days when I told it may only be 4wks at most.Every week I called Tripps to ask progress and every time I called, it was no clue to what was being done then after many minutes on hold, I was told on the same phone call an estimated finish date within 7-9 days and the car would be done.In the background they were speaking only with my insurance company and I was not being kept in the loop.On the day I thought I was picking my car up, I took the afternoon off work to get my finished car. I called Tripps to be sure the car would be ready before I left work. I had to call the rental company so they can pick up the rental car at Tripps. I was then told by Tripps, 4wks into the 'repair', my car was totaled!I then called the rental to not pick up the rental car, and called my "insurance representative" and we made a deal that I needed to pay only a few hundred dollars over the 3rd changed repair quote. I was still fixing the car and nothing had been done in a month! I was told on the phone by Tripps, every week I called to check progress that my car that it was being worked on.I also called the day before I was to pick up the finished car and requested photos for my insurance company to show the repair was done. This would reinstate my full coverage quickly before I pick up the car.I was sent photos and my car was in pieces (I was told on the phone it was done and only waiting for the radiator to be filled and only the Chevy dealership could do so, it was being towed to the dealership - I thought that's crazy again but modern cars are different so I let it go.Soon after I got the car back I called to ask what fluids were replaced new, I keep track of maintenance on my car - they stumbled and only said we don't know and said Tripps tries to save and reuse any existing fluids and could not tell me if any fluids were replaced new.The radiator was BRAND NEW! I had my radiator fluid tested and THEY PUT WATER IN MY BRAND NEW RADIATOR and did not tell me!!!! I need to pay for a flush and fill on a Brand new Radiator. what if I drove my engine into the winter... They are a bad company. Do not trust them.Tripps Collision is terrible and does not tell the truth - they have No clue to what's happening in their shop, employees are clueless. A Bambi Deer did not do that much damage and replacing with NEW parts should have been easy.They overfilled the engine oil - my entire dipstick was covered and I've was too broke to take it into another shop immediately so i was praying this overfill did not hurt my engine.Oh, yeah and they stole or threw away my stiff truck carpet cover that was over the flat tire stuff (I have the photo they sent that they were using my clean trunk as a dumpster) - This stiff carpet was used to cover the spare tire like area - if I had ever seen that carpetless storage hole when I took my car to them I would not have needed a heavy moving quilt i kept in the trunk to hold my grocery bags all these months.My trunk was a pristine shampooed clean trunk carpet from the dealership when I bought the car a few months before the bambi. May car trunk was returned to me with road debris, plastic and deer fur with tan colored sand from my dirt road that fell off the removed body parts from the accident - the damaged body front end parts they put in my clean trunk like it was a dumpster.I'll NEVER use Tripps Collision again... and I tell everyone in the central Michigan area don't go there.I sure someone may want to contact me from Tripps. I am not paying for a rental car to allow your company to ever touch my car again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I recently purchased a new vehicle after my last one was hit by a deer. I only had the vehicle for 2weeks and Another deer attack. Tripps is a sponsor of the lansing funk fest and I thought if they care enough to support the community then why not give them a chance. Much to my delight Tripps was the best decision I could have made. From their customer service and experience my new new car was like new again. If I had to make any suggestions it would be to my insurance company that held the fine staff at Tripps up with the red tape of getting item s approved. I would recommend Tripps to anyone in need of this service. Respectfully, The Mocha Man

I had the pleasure of dealing with Melissa and Brandon. It was one of the best, if not THE best, experiences I have had with a body shop. To be clear, I did shop around for the estimates and I was forthcoming about that. Brandon, who did my estimate, welcomed it. When I did finish, I went back and questioned him about the services that he was providing and why he wasn't doing certain things. He thoroughly explained why he was choosing the repair route he chose. In that interaction, I had my confidence confirmed. Because he stood by, and defended, his estimate and process. After our conversation, I left my deposit. Here's the thing for me, pretty much the entire time I didn't realize WHO he was, the owner, and he treated me with the utmost respect, never once talking down to me because I am a female. The service, communication, and transparency was top notch! I WILL use them again should the need arise. Melissa is an excellent choice to be the first one to interact with the customer. Her personality is EVERYTHING. She was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Hands down, the best service I have seen in a while! Thanks Tripp's team for the positive experience! Oh yeah, I was told that it was going to take 3-4 days to repair. It took ONE day. Under promise and over deliver! You have won a customer for life.

They advertise that they will pay up to 500.00 of your deductible or a rental car. I took my truck there and i paid both. Took them 5 day s I had rental car 3 day s and my daughter let me use her car after that. I think they should not advertise they will pay one or other if they don t.Did a great job on my truck .

Tripps Collision is a first class company. Their customer service is excellent and they listen to your needs and provide you with solutions. From The first call to Brandon the Manager to Melissa who answered my calls on when my truck would be ready everyone was very helpful and I appreciate all that they did. I am very happy to recommend this fine company to everyone who has a vehicle that s in need of repair. Thanks Again for the great work!!!

I recently had my vehicle repaired at Tripp's Collision in Lansing, MI, and overall, I had a positive experience. The only complaint I had was regarding the duration of the repairs, which took a bit longer than expected. However, what truly stood out to me was the professionalism of Manager Brandon Tripp in handling this issue.Despite the delay, Brandon was courteous and understanding, which made the situation much more manageable. He kept me informed throughout the process, and his excellent communication skills certainly eased my concerns.When I finally got my vehicle back, I was truly impressed with the quality of their work. The repair job was top-notch, and the detailing and cleaning of my vehicle were impeccable. It looked and felt like new again, which was a pleasant surprise.In summary, while the repair duration was a bit of an inconvenience, the excellent service provided by Manager Brandon Tripp and the outstanding repair and detailing work more than made up for it. I highly recommend Tripp's Collision for their professionalism and the quality of their services.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Great experience! Brandon went way above to get things fixed in good time. He also helped connect me with someone to fix another issue I was having with the interior, who was able to correct the problem for me quickly. Super people with wonderful results for their customer! Tripps collision is definitely the best experience I have had when it comes to getting your car fixed. They gave me the date that my car would be done and they got it done five days sooner and right before a holiday. They also cleaned my car up inside and out before giving it back. A special shout out to brandon tripp and Melissa. Thank you so much for the amazing service and quickness. Adding to the review above... I forgot to tell them about my after market auto start but no biggie brandon was on it and had his guys re hook it up and had it working in five minutes. You guys are simply amazing. Thank you so much !

Tripp's Collision Shop did an exemplary job on my auto recently when it was vandalized!!!! They went out of their way to obtain a part that I needed for my auto, that the dealership wasn't able to obtain in a reasonable time manner, & I'll forever be greatful to Tripp's Collision Shop for obtaining that part for me!!! I have done business with Tripp's Collision Shop in the past, and they always repaired my vehicles in an exemplary way!!!!I would recommend Tripp's Collision Shop for all of your auto body needs!!! They're always very professional, extremely helpful, & very kind and thoughtful, & they try to make sure your a happy & satisfied customer!!!!!

Well, it was recommended by a few people to go to Tripp's. I had communication issues right out of the gate, couldn't get a call back to confirm drop off date, even after calling twice the day before the tentative start date. Someone upgraded my Enterprise rental without my permission, after I specifically asked for the cheapest car they have. It wasn't Enterprise either, they worked with me on everything satisfactorily. The repair time was par for the supply chain constraints, so no complaints there. When I picked up my car the drivers side headlight didn't work, so they replaced it. Then the driver side headlamp lens is badly scarred from wheeling out the hood after painting...the damaged side was the passenger side. I didnt go back in and let them know, I was done. Headlights were also not adjusted, one shining higher than the other. No Quality Control apparently. Maybe mine was an isolated incident, I don't know. DisappointedFound another item this morning. The passenger side door has a crinkled up piece of trim they never fixed! It crim kea and creeks when I open the door. These guys are awful! Damn!

Very disappointed they say they work for the customer there were repairs insurance should have payed for and the insurance company told me they spoke directly with tripps and tripps said that it wasn't related *fabrication! Very disrespectful over the phone when trying to get clarity on a situation w rental call **Very disappointed in the service that I received.

I had my doubts at first after reading some reviews, but after talking with people I knew that had been to Tripp's I decided to try it out. Best decision ever!Brandon was all over it for us, start to finish. Dealt with insurance, getting all the right parts, communicating options, everything. The service was comprehensive and phenomenal. All questions answered, all calls responded to, all assurances met.Work was fast, professional and to notch. Had extensive damage from being hit in the rear passenger side and despaired of seeing it anywhere near as good as it was before the accident. But Melissa assured us that they would take care of it like their own grandma's car - and they did!Super impressed from start to finish and would recommend to anyone!Trust me when I say that Tripp's will take care of you like family!Services: Tires, Painting, Body & Trim

If you leave your vehicle here they will use it as their own I had to return a breeze vape pen and some prescription glasses one of the employees left in my center console and I got it back on fumes had to go straight to the gas station but the quality of work was acceptable

On Ausgust 6th 2023, I hit a buck on the expressway going 76 mph dead center of my 2013 F-150. I called around to a few local collision centers, but were told they were a month out before they could assess the damage and start working on my vehicle. I happened to remember a commercial for Tripp's Collision when I lived in Jackson. So I happened to google them and was relieved to see they had 2 locations in Lansing. I called them and they said they can get my vehicle right in. They received my vehicle on August 11th and got it completely done today September 5th. Very happy with the end result. Would highly recommend them.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They changed their pricing at the end and gave horrible service, didn t even finish their job correctly and instead of fixing the dents they just painted over it. I had to get the job done from somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I took my BMW X5 3.0i E53 to them to straighten a corner after I got hit. They did a great job pulling one corner of it so I could put a new fender on. I would recommend them to anyone that needs body work done. He was very friendly and didn't charge enough for the work they did. 5 star service.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

On many levels I'm pleased with this shop. First they did a great job on my truck which had a nasty scratch and cracked up bumper piece. Nicely repaired. Next, two Tripp guys seem to run this place. Professional. On the ball. Handled my insurance co and car rental place perfectly. Also, I'm thrilled they chose to open this shop on N East St. It's a tired part of Lansing but Tripps added nice exterior paint, complete interior redo, nice parking area. Really adds class to the neighborhood. I selected them because of the TV ads but it was a great choice!

I could have sworn I did a review. Here we go (again lol). I appreciate this place on several levels. First the repair work they did is top notch. Nasty fender scratch with busted front end piece. Second this is a family run shop. The Tripps were professional, competent, handled my insurance co well, got my rental coordinated, etc, etc. Also I'm pleased to have them in this particular part of town that is a bit run down. Tripps took over a vacant building, total rehab and interior redo. Really classes up the neighborhood. On top of all this, I got my 25% discount of my deductable. Great business. Great people. I recommend them.

If you want your vehicle painted a different color, scratched up, dented, and have overspray cover parts of your vehicle take it to Tripp s !!! Worst body shop I have ever been too. No professionalism or f@#ks given. Was told some of my issues would be taken care of NO THANKS!!! You think I m that dumb enough for you Jimmy to touch my vehicle again ?!? 0 stars if I could.Service: Painting

After a month of insurance haggling, we finally got our car back, to discover the rear sensors were not hooked up. $6000, and 30 days in the shop, they forgot to hook up the sensors.

I had a situation where I walked into the store for 5 minutes, came out and someone had put a hole in my front bumper with a license plate screw they had protruding out of their front bumper after they parked way to close to my front end. Allstate gave me a check for what it would cost for labor. We decided to take it to Tripps because the online reviews were excellent but I have always been skeptical of online reviews. Man, did I make the right choice. Not only were they easy to work with, they tried getting a whole new bumper for me and when the insurance wouldn't cover it, they not only fixed the whole, but resurfaced my entire bumper for me. I'd recommend these guys any day and every time. Wonderful establishment, they were awesome and my car looks sweet.

Tripp's did a great job fixing my car's front passenger side spoiler from an argument the car had with a raccoon They worked on my behalf with Allstate who I don't have such a glowing report to give. Lots of unnecessary delays getting approvals All fixed and can't tell it was ever damaged even with a hard to match/blend color.
