If you are going anywhere to get auto collision repairs done, you need to go to Tripps Collision-East Lansing. I am definitely rating them 5 stars.As soon as I walked into the office, the courtesy of the staff made me feel as if I were at home. They were understanding of the problem I was having, then immediately worked with me to see if I would need to go through insurance or if it would be a repair that would need to be paid out of pocket.Afterwards, they diagnosed the repair with me. They discussed it in laymans terms so that I could understand what was wrong, and what needed to be done.Afterwards, they got me scheduled for an appointment as soon as possible. Which was speedy. I was impressed at how early they got me in on their schedule.When I brought the vehicle in, the vehicle was fixed professionally and a quality job was done.Then, even though it was a small job that needed to be done, they gave me the repair free of charge!If you are going to go anywhere to get your car repaired, GO TO, Tripps Collision-East Lansing. They are courteous, speedy, and do a great job.

This location committed fraud, billing for services they knew they could not perform on my Mercedes, and now refuses to give me the monies so I can pay the above board shop. I have been called a liar, and treated with no respect on top of that. They are nothing better than crooks, and I am reporting them at the State Level. EDIT: They are doubling down on their lies, Allstate said they refused to give back monies on 2nd check. That's OK, we do have recourse, it is now at the state level, as well as them being monitored by Allstate. Go elsewhere. WHY would they bill, and accept checks KNOWING they could not do my repairs, AND my car wasn't on their premise? Stinks all day long.**To be clear, Tripps Collision did NOT take my car to the Mercedes dealership. I removed my vehicle from them and took it there myself when they weren't performing the work. 3 weeks later they then told me they COULD'T do the work, and it that time had cashed checks from Allstate for services they could not perform. The State of Michigan got involved to get the monies back from Tripps they had billed for and put in their bank account, when they refused to return it to Allstate, forcing them to send me the check which I then used at the Mercedes Benz Dealership. Get it together people, stop lying I have receipts.

My door handle broke off my car and I had no idea how much it would cost or what I needed to do and they had it fixed within 24 hours for a very reasonable cost. I truly appreciate the assistance!! Thank you!

Office staff (specifically Steffny) was great to work with. The work itself took forever, some of it was no fault of their own, but still with little communication unless my wife or myself called. When I got my car back there was an issue with my passenger side window, the seatbelt guild, and styrofoam was left from the paint job. When I brought it to their attention they got right to it, at no cost to me, other than my time. Overall I am happy with the job and would definitely recommend working with them.Services: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

Professional. Understanding. Human. Are just three words I can use to describe Tripp's Collision of East Lansing. I went in after I had a bad experience at another body shop, and Jimmy took the time to listen to my concerns and questions.He listened carefully and explained to me in detail the process, and was more than willing to work with my exact needs.I would highly recommend this body shop to anyone whether it's for accident repairs or general body work.Thanks again Jimmy, for your professionalism and strong work ethic. I've only been through their quoting process but I can say of all the body shops I've been to they were the most pleasant.
