Nice looking shop and beautiful lobby, Tom was very nice and helpful. I was in for a used vehicle inspection. If I lived in the area I would definitely give them a shot.

I initially brought my car in due to my car not tracking straight at higher speeds. When getting the call back it ended up just being low tires and the tpms sensors not registering. They even gave me a discount for the diagnostic and hour of labor. However my door cable happened to break while picking up my car from the shop, so we left it with them to fix this as well. Came back 2 days later to pick up the car and the handle has been repaired but none of the front speakers work anymore. Payed around $450 to have the door latch assembly replaced to be given back a car with more work needed again. My family has been coming here for years and disappointed with out last experience here

I personally would not allow these guys to diagnose a flat tire.Had to go there for them to diagnose a problem with my fuel system after their place in Alma replaced my fuel pump a few weeks prior. As the fuel pump is still under warranty.So I go to this place they tell me that my gas pump is completely operating normally and that it has to do with something further up the line.To which it would cost almost $1,500 to fix.This was done on a Friday.Come Monday morning I took it to a place called gas tank renew in, Swartz Creek.They are the experts when it comes to. Anything and everything to do with your fuel system. They almost immediately said the fuel pump was bad from a manufacturer defect. It was also a carquest fuel pump.So needless to say I had to have another fuel pump installed on top of. The cost for labor.The store in Alma said if I were to bring it there they'd install it for free well of course you will it's under warranty. But I'm not going to trust my vehicle to drive over 60 mi when it has a bad fuel pump just to get stranded. Alma tire is going to reimburse for the cost of the fuel pump. And I refuse to take it to the Lansing store as if you cannot. Diagnose apart how can you install it no thank you these guys are a joke.

They always do such great work! They are professional and caring. I truly feel that I am getting the best service possible and that they are always genuine with me. As a woman, its very important to me that I don t feel that I am being taken advantage of under the assumption I don t know general knowledge of vehicles.

Very nice and professional service! They were about to close but snuck us in during a pinch as we were coming back from Michigan to Indiana. Called a parts company and staying over 30 min. after closing time to fix the issue. I recommend this place to anyone.

I was very impressed with the respect shown to me by everyone I was in contact with in shop and on the phone. They communicated with me about all my cars needs and patiently explained things as I had questions, and let me decide what I wanted fixed based on their professional experience of what was a matter of safety and what could wait for a later date. I opted to have most of the work done because of their professionalism and the cost being reasonable. I was even offered a loaner car, but I didn t think I would need it, so the owner offered to give me a ride to my folks house instead. A company full of kind, competent people, who I will be using again in the future! I recently had my vehicle serviced at Town & Country Auto, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the hospitality and kindness of the employees. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable while waiting for my vehicle, and I could tell that they genuinely cared about providing excellent service.But what really impressed me was the quality of the repair work. I had some significant damage to my vehicle, and the team at Town & Country Auto worked tirelessly to get everything fixed as quickly as possible without cutting any corners. They kept me updated throughout the process and were always available to answer any questions I had.And the best part? The price was more than fair for the level of service I received. I've had experiences in the past where auto shops will try to gouge you on price, but I never felt that way with Town & Country Auto. They were upfront about the costs from the beginning and stuck to their word.Overall, I'm extremely grateful for the excellent service provided by Town & Country Auto. Came here for an allignment on my armada, was told it was un alignable which is fine i understand parts go bad amd meed to be replaced. But once i saidni wasnt going to get it fixed there i wasnt giving anymore information, just told "control arms and ball joints", was told "shouldnt even drive it out of the lot" which again is fine but again once i told them i wasnt gonna get it fixed the demeener changed. Wasnt given any other info, no list of parts. But was still charged the allignneny even when no alignment happened...hoping they see this and tell me to come bacj when i get thebparts fixed for the alignment but highly doubt it.

I needed an oil change in my 2012 Ford F150. They got me in and out and rotated the tires for free and also did a free inspection. Great service and very friendly and professional. Then I had a problem where the truck overheated and the check engine light came on. I dropped the truck off before they opened and filled out the form and put the key in the envelope and went to work. About 10 AM I received a call telling me it was the water pump and they gave me and estimate to fix it. They texted me at about 3 PM telling me that it was fixed and ready for pick up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! What excellent service and fast! If you re unfortunate enough to have your car breakdown while you re out of town, let s hope you re fortunate enough to be close to these guys! They were a mile from my hotel and while I worked all week on business, they worked on my van. Great communication with texts to approve items on a repair, a final price less than estimated, and they even picked me up and brought me back to my hotel while the van was in the shop. Super nice and helpful place. You can tell they take pride in their work and even found some things that needed to be repaired that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. If I didn t live so far away, they d be my go-to for all further automotive repairs! Lansing locals take note! Thanks again!!

Thank you so much to Jeremy and all the technicians who worked on my car. I had a terrible rear main seal leak and the car was not drivable. I had to have the engine removed and the system completely redone. They were extremely diligent, communicated with us, and even accommodated me with a loaner vehicle because it took weeks to fix. I know this was not an easy task and I m grateful they were so helpful and kind throughout the entire process. Highly, highly recommend these guys!Service: Engine repair

Wow where do I begin. From the moment I walked in I was impressed! I was greeted by the manger Jeremy who is extremely friendly and professional. They were able to get my brakes and rotors replaced the same day which is huge for me because I can t go without my car. The price was also not bad at all. Company & staff were friendly and treated me like I was family. Staff was very quick and honest about issues related to my vehicle and gave me several options about repairs and costs. The price was below other locations for the service requested and staff went above and beyond fixing several smaller unmentioned issues without further cost. Best experience I ve ever had with an auto repair shop. Got me right in and diagnosed the problem in a couple hours. While I did not end up having work done due to the cost of repair costing more than my car is worth, Jeremy was great to work with. My new go-to for auto repairs! Vehicle was promptly inspected at the scheduled time and repair made quickly. Excellent communication throughout the whole process and extremely transparent when it came to all charges for the work. Pricing was fair with no up selling or adding in unnecessary repairs. I have been coming to Town and Country for years. They are professional and amazing! I recently had service done and they provided it quickly and cost effectively as always. Thanks!A few weeks later my car had a completely unrelated issue and I was in an emergency situation. My car was stuck in the middle of the street. I called T&C for help, Mark and another gentleman (Sorry can't remember his name) helped me over the phone with a you tube video and I was able to get my car to a safe location. They could have easily said call a tow truck but because of their empathy in my current situation they were able to help me! Well there are pros and cons to the place.I have to say that they are very sociable, and when I called they accepted my car easily and promptly.Their prices compared to other places are reasonable and they even agreed to give me a discount after I told them that I am an student.But, the problem is the problem for which I took my car to them is not fixed. It is even worse than before!!!I am going to call them later and will update this review too but still it is frustrating that after a $1500 fix, my car has the same problem as before.Update: They called me to check up on my car and I told them about the problem, they immediately took action and asked me to take my car back to fix it. It seemed it just needed more lubrication as they claimed. Till this point I was convinced to bump their ratings up to 4 stars. But, as I was about to leave, they told me if after a week, I still felt that something was wrong, I could bring the car back and they would be willing to check the car and change the parts again. That sentence alone won me over. So yes, 5 stars. Thanks, and I will be a definite customer from now on.

Hey Jeremy,Yeah that re-bleed the second time solved the pedal issue. It's back to feeling the way it has felt for the past 6 years that I've driven it again.Steering was good to go from the start. No complaints on those repairs, and I appreciate you guys making sure I got taken care of. Your overall pricing was on par with the industry.My only real gripe was the communication on the battery terminal cleaning. I wasn't requesting a battery test, just corrosion removal. I think you guys over-charge for battery testing at $34.44 by the way had that actually been what I wanted. The way I remember it from shops I've worked in, all I had to do is connect a tool to the terminals and push a button. Is that no longer the way they're tested? $34 is just high for that.The other gentleman, when I asked how much the charge would have been to clean the corrosion off instead of doing a battery test he said a half hour of labor. There's no way that's true, right? At $115/hr (totally reasonable labor rate) that would be $57.50 to wire brush the excess material, spray on battery terminal cleaner, rinse, and then spin a terminal cleaning brush over it a few twists. I've done it before. It takes 10 minutes and that's if you're being quite thorough. Some businesses would do that as a complimentary service along side a $1,900 job.So yeah. I would recommend reevaluating some of the ways your simpler services' prices are calculated. Perhaps it's intentional because one big job is better for the business than 10 small ones and you want to deter a high number of small jobs from coming in an taking up time and space. That's just speculation trying to see things from your point of view.My father ran a repair shop for almost 50 years and he would always say something to the effect of "he hated doing oil changes because it wasn't profitable, but that's how he got new customers who eventually would come in and replace an engine with him."Anyway, that's my honest feedback. I would definitely recommend your service for major repairs, but those charges for some of the things I'm familiar with as 5-10 minute jobs makes me feel the need to exercise caution about what services I would request in the future if I'm being completely honest. I understand it's a business and it's not easy work, but the time allotted to the labor on smaller jobs should be true to the time to get the work done, and I don't mean that on EVERYTHING. I understand that book can say it's a 10 hour job but a mechanic with 30 years of experience can do it in 7. Then charging 10 hours is fine even though it takes 7. That's pay for the skill and knowledge. I'm only talking about where it's clearly a 10 minute job even for a green technician, but 30 minutes are being charged.Thanks again!RyanServices: Steering & suspension repair, Auto brake replacement, Battery

My husband has been using Town and Country for a long time and he has always found them reliable. We have been there a few times in the last month and I was able to experience the professionalism. They were able to easily explain to me the car repairs and got it done in a quick time. We also purchased a used car and they did a very detailed check on the used car. I would highly recommend this local business for your car.

If I could give a lower rating I would. I took my car in to get diagnostics run to fix a problem, they then said they didn t find anything and sent me on my way. The next day my car broke down again and I took it back. I told them I have had problems with my fuel pump and the fuse box in my car. They then took two weeks for them to figure out half of the problem replaced my fuse box and fuel pump and now all of a sudden my car is having transmission issues (my car has never had transmission issues and has never even had the transmission slip) and they no longer want to deal with it. Now I have to get it towed to a new place but since they worked on it many shops don t want to touch it. I have been trying to get it towed but they won t work with me on times while also telling me it needs to be out by the weekend. So they fix things by breaking it more. What started as a hopefully simple evaluation and fix turned into a bigger problem that needed replacing and more expensive (not their fault either), especially before a big trip. They were very respectful and were able to give me a loaner car for the day, then when problems with a part arose and I didn't have rides for work, I was able to keep the loaner car another day. My car definitely runs better and I'm confident in my trips this weekend!
