Nick and other staff are very knowledgeable people. Would definitely bring my 435i here again if I need to. Also unlike other places, they actually schedule a day for your service, so you re not without a car for more than a day. Prices are also very reasonable and fair. It's hard not knowing much about cars and understanding how dealerships and mechanics can take advantage of that when you need service. This place was recommended by a few colleagues and they were spot on. Nick and the team at Redline Auto are fantastic. Months after coming in just briefly he remembered my name. His prices were better than the quotes I received at nationally branded centers and he was honest about what I needed and didn't need. I will always take my car here.

Appreciate the honesty and quality of work! Went in for a check on warning lights and weird sound, got a reasonable estimate and authorized work. Got a call the next day that when the tech started work he ended up finding that the fix was a simpler issue and only ended up costing a third of original estimate to fix! No scare tactics and underhanded dealing! We ll definitely come back in the future if we need to!

Great service, straight answers, and saved me about $5k in repairs.I bought a used GLK350 (2015) from a friend who's pretty meticulous about service so I knew it needed a little suspension work and new spark plugs. Took it into the local Merc dealer who, btw, had serviced the vehicle up to that point. It took them about a month to get to the car (though in fairness they did give me a loaner) and I walked out with an $8k quote that included new brakes because (and I am paraphrasing but) "they're in great condition but they're after market" and an A&B service because "you'll need them eventually".I left a bit worried about how much unnecessary work was in their quote so I talked with a couple friends who recommended Redline for a second opinion. Got a straight answer about what needed fixing, was in and out, and had the work that everyone agreed needed done for quite a bit less than the dealer wanted.I really dunno why anyone who cares about their car wouldn't at least try Redline.

New to the area and had to do a ton of research to find a trusted mechanic. All my research and calls to auto shops in Greater Lansing and beyond took me to Redline Auto. One phone call to Nick and my choice was confirmed. Then after taking my first car for service I can confidently say this place is the honest repair shop you always hoped for. I completely trust this family business with all my cars. Took my elderly Honda CRV for a new timing chain, vct solenoid, and valve adjustment. Communications were very good, the work performed in a timely manner, and an additional part (oil spooler valve) was installed without increasing the estimate. The vehicle is running very well. Recieved a follow-up call to make sure I was satisfied. Highly recommend.

I have been, and continue to be, impressed by Nick and the service professionals at Redline. They have taken great care of my Land Rover, and there is no reason for me to consider taking it anywhere else. Cheers.

I ve never had a bad experience here with a service/ employee. The owner, Nick, is super friendly & always finds a way to fit me in quick. My parents and siblings have also been going here for years. I refuse to trust anyone else with my car!

Found an honest family run auto repair shop that specializes in German cars. Nick and Scott know their cars. I have been taking my BMW to Redline Auto Service for years and can not speak highly enough of Nick and the team there. I trust and respect any recommendations or concerns they bring up. There have been times when I thought something was wrong with my car and they could have fixed something and I wouldn t have known any better but instead after an inspection I ve been told everything is ok! Nick is always upfront with anything that comes up and always tries to accommodate my schedule. I ve never written a review before which speaks to how much I appreciate them! Nick does a great job handling questions and the techs at redline know what they are doing. It's a drive from where I live but when I need service on a foreign car redline is often where I turn.

Absolutely can not recommend Nick and his guys more heavily. This is by far the best Auto mechanic in the whole state. Hands down. Bounds of knowledge and experience with these guys. Do yourself a favor bring your cars here if you want the best service and work done. He's handled a few of my vehicles from minor repairs to major. Always top notch work.

We own an older Mercedes, and it is at an age where it has needed some serious attention. Redline has performed several repairs in the past 16 months, and they have been AMAZING! Their quality and expertise are the best out there. They have also shown us genuine respect and care. Their communication is also excellent. All of this at a fraction of the price that the dealership quoted us. Without a doubt, they will always be where we take our cars!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I was taking my vehicle someplace else on a regular basis, I felt that I needed a second opinion on some issues the car was having. Redline not only found out what was going on but every fix they've made, or item repaired has lasted. Would highly recommend Redline to anyone looking for an honest, fair priced place for their car.I will continue to go here and recommend it to everyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Nick and the team at Redline are amazing! They did a full workup and brake fluid flush/oil change on a new (to me) 2007 BMW and everything runs smoothly. They were quick, professional, and did everything to make the car better without adding extra costs. Nick even noticed a weak blower motor but said he would wait on changing it and costing more money if it worked this summer. I would take any car to Redline. 100% hands down best shop around. I would trust Nick and his team with any of my vehicles, brought my New to me Audi TTS Built by NGP to him to do a good once ove. The car is pretty heavily modified and I'm not knowledgeable in all the areas this cars had work done to. Had him do a inspection/oil change/and catch can clean out. Also even found a missing nut on the 42 designs exhaust system that caused a minor raddle. Made me feel confident about my purchase and will be back for all my future work!! Redline have always repaired my cars to my complete satisfaction. They've replaced the engine in one my car and did an outstanding job, I did not have to go back for any issues. The car was cleaned when I picked it up and is running perfectly. They also have worked on my other cars for various issues and they've always been repaired perfectly the first time. I would also like to thank Redline for donating time and money to various cultural events and charities in the community. Nick and his team are the absolute best, they went well over above and beyond for me. Got my issue sorted out after spending a lot of troubleshooting and calling manufacturers of my Audi TTS brakes. I have a custom break job that needed repair and he was able to figure it out. I highly highly recommend! I tell all of our family and friends about them. I've been going to Redline for years now and I always get great results. Thanks to Redline and their awesome crew I've made it to 250,000 on my '05 Corolla. I intend to keep this car going for as long as Redline can keep it going. An all around great place to bring your car. If you choose Redline for your automotive needs, you surely won't regret it. Purchased a higher mileage VW from a local dealership in June of 2023, got an appointment in August of 2023 to have redline look the vehicle over and address a few concerns/questions. Well, then we got news no one likes to hear, thousands of dollars of repairs and some MAJOR issues.I can't say enough great things about Nick and his team, we prioritized the issues, he worked with the repair contract company to get them documents and what they needed. I am happy with the repairs, feel like they are an honest shop, try to always due right by their customers and value the importance of fostering a life long relationship.If you have a VW, BMW or Mercedes I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

I purchased a Range Rover Evoque and had check engine light after check engine light. I took it to several shops and they never truly fixed my issue. On top of not fixing the issue, they actually made the issue worse. I took it to Redline, and Nick was very open about the road that we would be traveling down trying to chase the code. He was not only spot on to how we would find the remedy, but it worked! Furthermore, their prices were found to be very fair and worth the drive for me. Their staff was not only pleasant to work with, but a joy to speak with in the lobby. I was sitting in the lobby and Nick made two phone calls that stuck with me. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop, but I heard him tell two customers that the job came in under the estimated price. Who does that anymore? Redline Auto Service, that's who. I found my place for my foreign vehicle, and I am going to be bringing him my domestic as well. It's never nice to take your vehicle to the shop, but Nick and his team at least make you feel appreciated, and you know that they run an honest operation. My family has been going to redline for almost a decade now and have never been disappointed or worried about the service and pricing they provide. They are honest, fair, and friendly. I call Nick whenever I have questions about my car and he is happy to answer them. I drive all the way from Detroit to get my car serviced VS the dealerships in my area. Cannot recommend them enough!

Redline Auto is a fantastic shop for high-end and foreign cars. They do great work at fair prices. Nick's customer service skills are exceptional, and he goes above and beyond to create an environment that retains business. They have a very comfortable waiting area and a convenient location. This place is very nice and does good work you can tell by all the nice cars parked outside. I've been a car owning human for far too long and I've been a human who needs car repairs for just as long. I've spent a lot of time and money screwing around with various vehicles at various joints and it was always a waste. I always felt screwed out of my money.However, at Redline, I've never felt this way. Nick has always provided a kind, friendly atmosphere and makes me feel like a valued customer. I've never been pressured to fix more than I needed to. And the prices have always been incredibly reasonable and the repairs were always done quickly and professionally.For as long as I live in the greater Lansing area, I'll never take my cars anywhere else.
