With their commitment to timely service, reasonable pricing, and top-notch workmanship, it s no wonder they ve earned my family s trust across generations. Craig, the heart of the operation, prioritizes safety and quality, ensuring that every vehicle he touches is road-ready. It s a relief to have a mechanic who not only fixes the immediate issues but also looks out for your well-being on the road. I m grateful to my parents for introducing me to Randall Automotive, and I m proud to continue the tradition of excellent service with them.

This place is a life saver!!! My engine was changed by Muffler Man of Portland due to bad timing. My car had no starting issues when it went in. When it came out it would just randomly have a no crank no start issue. I got the car back on Jan. 12th and had it less than 24 hours before the no starting issue started. I took it to Muffler man and was told it was a key fob issue and I would have to take it to a dealer. It went to 3 Chevy dealers since then and all fixed something, but it was never fixed. Took it to Randalls on March 23rd. Spoke with Craig on March 27th and he assured me they would get to the bottom of it and they definitely did!!! They found a stretched ground wire that was stretched during the engine removal and also a second ground that was not tightened. I picked my car up on April 11th and have not had a problem with it yet!! I spent over $6000 between rental cars, tows and repairs in the 3 months since Muffler Man messed up my car when changing the engine and was at my wits end, but Randalls figured it out and it only cost me a little over $100!!! I can t thank these people enough and if I have any problems with my car in the future they will be my first call.

The team here is exceptional flexible, professional, and deeply knowledgeable. The repairs were made below the original estimate, quickly (much appreciated from a third-shifter), and thoroughly explained. Craig helped me to understand everything at issue, what was done to fix it, and everything to watch for moving forward. By far the best experience I've ever had with an auto shop.

To sum up this place: excellent quality service (both customer and mechanical) by honest, hardworking people for more than reasonable prices!I go to this place for everything my Oldsmobile Alero needs! I know the barest minimum about cars and have gone to places in the past that took advantage of that, which had me always needing to call more experienced family members before getting my car serviced to verify I wasn't getting ripped off - I'm so happy to have found a repair shop that I don't need to do that with!The mechanics and technicians here are very knowledgeable and are also skilled at explaining to a numbskull like me what the car needs and why. My vehicle is old (2002) and wasn't maintained too well in the past (so it has more than a few issues) and I especially love that the folks here were able to lay out which repairs were safety issues that need immediate attention vs which ones can wait for a little while. Money's tight sometimes, so that honesty is very much appreciated.The repairs are top tier, but the prices they charge for them are more reasonable than anywhere else I checked. Usually lower prices are a red flag because 'you get what you pay for' and all that, but anything they've fixed on my car has stayed that way with no further issues suddenly springing up. These guys really know what they're doing, and they keep their services affordable. At one point one of my headlights went out, and when I went in to ask about replacing it, they just put a new one in at no charge because it was a 5-minute process and they had the bulb that was needed.I could write pages and pages of reasons and examples for why I love this place, but I think the above sums up the key points pretty well. I intend to go to Randall Automotive for service on any car I own now or in the future, and I recommend them to everyone I know in the area that needs vehicle maintenance!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I had work done on my Buick a few months back were the engine cradle had to be lowered to complete the work, since then the front end has been clunking on bumps when it never did before, so no I was not satisfied with the work here, was told my car needs 1500 dollars more work...

Randall's does a great job. They were recommended to me by Discount Mufflers and Brakes in South Lansing. I brought my vehicle in for AC repair, they fixed it within hours and let me know if I have any AC problems with the vehicle this season I can bring it back in and they will fix it free of charge. I never have any worries when I take any of my cars to Randall Autotive. I know I will get Honest feedback about any issues I am having. The quality of work being done here is 100%. If you are in the Lansing area and need your vehicle looked at stop by, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Not only was I told what the problem was, I was shown (he took pics). For those of you who understand cars and how they work this might not sound like a big deal. To me, who is clueless it was very helpful. He also texted me all the info on my car, which I was able to forward to my son who does understand cars. Was honest with me about another repair that would cost less if I took my car to someone who had done this exact repair before. Very happy w the service I received.

Randall is the only place we trust with our vehicles that don't have to go to dealership for warranty work. They're always very honest and up front with us. Our son hit a curb and snow bank 2 years ago. His whole front end in the drivetrain was messed up. We took his vehicle there and they were up front with us that the repair would be more than the vehicle was worth. And they were also unsure that the vehicle would drive right. We have also taken my in laws car there and they fixed the issue for a good price. Great service with honesty and that's important.

I have been going to Randall Automotive for about 3 years now. I am always pleased with the service and knowledge of the owner and his employees. The owner is always super nice and takes time to explain things. They are NOT in the business of ripping you off and they charge a fair price for all work done. My son goes to MSU, and I live on the other side of the state, so when his transmission started acting up on a Friday afternoon, I had him limp to the nearest business and park it. I Googled highly rated mechanics nearby, and Randall topped the list, so I drove to Lansing on Saturday and helped him limp his car to Randall. When I called them Monday morning, their staff was super friendly as they explained that they don't do transmissions, but recommended a great place nearby, Transmission Technology. Randall Auto assisted with getting the keys to the tow driver without any complaints, and even let me know when the car had been picked up. I give Randall Auto 5-stars just for being friendly and helpful, and for recommending an awesome transmission shop nearby. Both Randall Auto and Transmission Technology get 5-stars, and both are now in my contacts list, it's really nice to have businesses you can trust from out of town!Service: Auto maintenance

really great, honest company! brought my car in because i had been told the front brakes needed replacing ASAP. fully intended to have my brakes replaced and have the shop look at a few other things for me. they took the car all day, did a full inspection, and were really communicative with me over the phone to keep me in the loop. they even replaced one of the light bulbs & they didn't charge me anything at the end of the day because they said the brakes still had a season in them! i really appreciate their honesty and not just trying to charge me for jobs i didn't need done. definitely will be coming back, this place rocks.

Randall Automotive uses quality parts and makes quality repairs. If that's important to you then make this your place for automotive repairs and service. I have had everything from wheel work, engine work, and AC service and have been 100% satisfied every time. They communicate well to the customer to let them know the diagnosis and provide accurate and reasonable estimates.

Had been taking our cars to the Ford dealership for service. For a number of reasons started looking for a new automotive service. After some searching and reading some Google reviews, decided to give Randall Automotive a try. Very thankful I did. I didn't make it easy on them. My F150 had some odd electrical issues that needed some outside the box thinking. Thought Craig and Jason (and their shop) did a thorough and professional job. Communicated everything very well. Overall a very positive experience, at a fair price. Randall s automotive is the best. They always make sure they get you the best deal on larger parts. They also always squeeze me in for an appointment. Once craig fixed something so simple on my car he refused to allow me to pay him. They got me in and out sooner than expected. Craig took the time to explain everything to me, listened and answered my questions, and took care of my car for a reasonable cost. I received text updates with photos during the whole process. I would recommend!

Once again, Randall Automotive has proven to be honest, high quality and reliable. Had a problem with vibration that had me concerned. They put the car on the hoist, examined the chassis and suspension and assured me that it was safe. They recommended new tires and did some minor repair work. I would have been happy to pay for their time, but they didn't charge a DIME

Great guy. Talked to him on the phone a few times before I had my truck towed in. The day of the fix, he was quick and to the point. He went above and beyond explaining what he did and how he corrected someone else's cobbled up work.

The team at Randall Automotive is top notch. They will work within your budget, yet still have the vehicle safe and operational, as much as possible. No trying to sell unnecessary repairs, no pressure, very friendly and professional. They tell you what's wrong and explain how it works and leave the options up to you. They also try to tell you things they notice that are going bad and how long they estimate it will last. This allows you to plan for upcoming repairs as much as possible. All-in-all I personally hope I never need to find another mechanic shop! I recommend these guys to everyone I know!!

The owner emailed with me and was very to the point but also very polite in his communication. They got me in very quickly, considering the holidays and they finished my car amazingly fast! My car runs very well now, and I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it! I would recommend Randall Automotive to anyone needing literally anything done to fix their car. This is a classy and efficient mechanic!

Take your car here for all your needs, these guys are awesome!I had a 3 hour commute to Lansing for work and my headlight bulb burnt out. After getting off work, I wanted to stop by a place to have my headlights repaired quick so that I can start my commute back home. Everywhere I called tried to raise the price on me for same day service and were quoting me $70+ dollars. Even though I bought the bulb they were still overcharging me.I made one phone call to Randall's Automotive and they told me to bring it down. Since I had the bulb already and the fix was easy, they did it right on the spot and did not charge me! I insisted on paying but they said free of charge, so I gave them the cost of the repair in tip because these guys give the best service and they are so kind.Unbeatable service and the best prices in town. 5/5 Stars!

Had a presale car inspection done. They quickly found out the car wasn t worth buying and they didn t charge us for the time since they found out so fast. Really appreciate their honesty and knowledge!
