Alex and his team did a great job diagnosing and fixing my car. They are also a lot more affordable than most car repair shops . I highly recommend them!

Only giving 1 star to be able to review. This man tried to scam an elderly woman out of over $1,000 claiming she needed organic break pads and other work that she did NOT. I strongly urged her to get a second opinion and E&J auto fixed her issue for a fraction of what Alex was going to charge and they did it right.

Low Cost Auto Repair was able to do a full diagnosis of the issues I thought I was having in order to find the real issues and get a more precise quote of the correct repairs. Their quote was the lowest in the area, and the service was prompt and accurate. I will be returning with my future business as well as recommending this business to others. 5/5 all categories.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

DROVE my car up there for a diagnostic compression test on the engine. They charged $75 to read a code that I could of had done at autozone free. Staff broke my shifter had to TOW my car home. Will not return and wouldnt recommend.In reply to the owner: This is not the wrong place. You right across from olympic broil. And down the street from Handys market. Yall did me wrong and this review will stay so hopefully yall dont F over somebody else.

I have never in my life had a mechanic call me and tell me he was able to save me over 500$ from a quoted price. Alex is the man. This is my 4th time here, and I have been happy each and every time. Thank you sooo much!

Alex was outstanding awesome to work with and very knowledgeable had my car in within 2 days and had it done and ready for me to drive home. He is very straight forward with pricing and tells you everything that it will include. Outstanding experience definitely recommend coming here for all your car needs.

This is a great, trustworthy place to get your car fixed. I m a young girl and it s often hard for me to find a mechanic with my best interest in mind. These guys offered me great service for a fraction of the other estimates I got and they took good care of me and my car without trying to charge me for unnecessary things. I will be using this shop for all of my mechanical needs and would advise others to do the same.Thank you Alex!

I was happy with the total overall experience. From the timely responce at the initial message I left To their communication with me throughout the process. Friendly and was clear about everything they would be doing.My biggest Take away is that they treated me in a kind manner and as a woman going to a automobile repair shop, that is a Big thing for me.I have told family and friends about them.

Alex (the owner) was very knowledgeable about what he does. The guys at the shop did the necessary work to get my car back on the road and did not try to over price me. This shop will not try to charge you for work that does not need to be done like some other places might. They went above and beyond to make the things I needed to be done on my car but didn t currently have money for would hold over until I did. All in all, I have found myself a mechanic and I m definitely satisfied so far with their work! #timely and #affordable

Best auto repair service in Lansing and surrounding areas by far. I've been constantly disappointed and ripped off by repair shops from Mason, to Williamston, to Holt, to Grand Ledge. But this place has excellent customer service, the most reasonable prices, and the quickest repair time. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else.

I live an hour away and I always make sure I come to see Alex whenever I have car problems. He goes out of his way to help me and always gives me a fair price. I trust him with my car and to give me honest advice. This is by far the best auto shop I have ever been too.

Perfect, amazing services from such wonderful people. They have helped me numerous times. They've fixed my windshield, and have fixed other things with my car. They never complain about any of it. Very timely service when they have an appointment. Some work is a bit excessive making some things more expensive, but helps the car/truck overall. The alignment service they use is definitely lacking. Great for some work such as a/c, but not others like steering components.

Not only did Alex beat my written estimate , he had my car done in a timely manner and was pleasant to work with the entire time ! Very knowledgeable and got the job done ! I would recommend him to anyone needing a fix , big or small ! Thanks again !

Great service with amazing people. They are very knowledgeable and honest with anything they tell you. Great affordable prices with willingness to help keep your vehicle on the road. I ve been taking my vehicles to Low Cost Auto Repair for the past 3 1/2 years. I find the service to be reputable, timely and professional. I ve never had to take my vehicle back for a follow up service because the original repair was not completed correctly. I ll continue to take my vehicles there. Cheaper then taking it to the dealer.
