Best garage around. They get the job done and do it right. We had friends from out of town have car troubles and Liskeys took care of the issue and they were able to make it home to Gaylord. Thanks gang. Great work at a great price.

Liskey's is my go-to shop for anything wheel, tires, and basic maintenance. They took care of a slow leak in my tire same day. I have always been pleased with my service from Liskey's!

My alternator died suddenly while away from home. At my friend's recommendation I went to Liskeys. They diagnosed my problem, communicated with me the estimate, and repaired my car in one day. They also told me about a tire issue and that one of my headlights went out. My car is running like a champ and my amperage is very strong. I highly recommend this repair shop. Bill had excellent customer service skills and clearly communicated with me every step of the way.

They had my tire ready in one business day (even though it was the Friday before a holiday). And they put it on despite being so close to closing time. I'm so grateful for the wonderful service and kind staff.

Professional, courteous, and honest. I took a classic car to them thinking it had a major problem and after a thorough inspection they sent me on my way. They could have told me anything. I saved $1,000+ from what I thought was going to happen. Note that they do not make inspection appointments, so you take them as first come, first serve. You drop it off, and they call you after inspection with the results.

Have used Liskey s a few times and always been happy. Referred countless people to them based on those experiences. My last visit however was not so good. When I picked up the car my tire pressure light was on, Liskey s had mounted 4 tires for me. I figured it was probably just a little under spec and it was almost closing time so I planned to adjust on my own. The following morning I checked the pressure, about 14 psi low in each tire. That s when I noticed the damage to my wheels. Clearly from the tire changing equipment, and definitely not there when I dropped off the car, I thought for sure a place like Liskey s with a good reputation would take responsibility and fix the issue. Unfortunately that s not what happened. They denied any responsibility and offered no solution. Now I m replacing a couple thousand dollars in wheels thanks to their failure to take accountability for their mistake. I ll definitely never go back and never again will anyone I know do business there.Service: Tires

It is nice to know an understanding shop is near my work. I came out of work to my car find with a flat tire, no spare and the clock was ticking near closing time. I called Liskey's and they said they would do their best to fit me into the schedule. I commute and was very frazzled not knowing how I could get home and late on Friday. They fixed my car, in a reasonable time, and a low cost and I was out of their shop and on my way home well before their closing time. Very nice shop, I will remember their kindness squeezing my vehicle into their schedule and actually prefer to use a shop near my work so I can pick it up after my shift. I will keep this nice shop in mind for my next repair.Service: Tires

I have a fleet of cargo vans and occasionally use them for brakes, alignments, and general repairs. I would definitely not recommend them for quality work or good customer service. I have found myself twice paying bills and taking it to another shop. The fact you can pay a bill and pick up the vehicle with the same problem is unacceptable from a professional repair shop. I was offered an apology from the owner. The front office manager has zero motivation to source parts or help if it s more work than a phone call. I never leave reviews but these guys have been a waste of time and money.

I took my car here last year too get an alignment and it ended up needing some extra work. I did not have a problem with the price and quality of work but I won't be back. I have a plug in hybrid and when I got the car back I noticed that my settings were all reset to factory settings. Other than being an inconvenience I don't think much of it but the next day, my car was dead. I had to have my dad help me jump start the car and drive it directly back to Liskeys. The receptionists were not at all accommodating and were gaslighting me into thinking this was just a coincidence and I probably just needed a new 12V battery. The only offer was to charge me $100+ to inspect it. I ended up leaving and taking the car to a Ford dealership who told me they likely left the car on auxiliary power so long that it drained the 12V battery which then caused the settings to be wiped. They could've told me that the battery died but instead blamed me for their blunder. My family has taken our cars here my whole life but will do so no longer.

It's always a little more expensive, but it's worth the same day service.

Went in due to a concerning consistent noise made by my vehicle at highway speed, worried about my safety. I was told I needed a new set of tires and front brakes. $1200.00 later, still making the same noise. When asked if they drove it on the highway, I was told there was only 16 miles of gas in the tank?!? WILL NEVER GO BACK!Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

Awesome service! I brought my rim in to have it fixed and they went out of their way to have it done 30 minutes later so I could make it to my Thanksgiving dinner with my family! This kinda excellent service reminds me of the good old days when businesses actually valued the customer!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I was very happy and would recommend to others. I was far from home and had something dragging on my car. I called a few shops and most said 2-3 weeks for an appointment. Liskeys squeezed me in and charged me a very reasonable fee to secure a panel that had gotten loose. Honest, helpful, and very nice to me!!!!

Always reliable and fast service. I can usually pick up my car within 1-2 days of drop off for repair. Everyone who works at Liskey's is kind and informative.

Seemed like nice people. We agreed on a price for some work. When I picked up my vehicle the price went up $150 for reasons they would not really explain. Never received a phone call saying that new work and a new price would have to be done. Then I asked what we could do about the new price that wasn't agreed upon they said that was the price.

They don t take appointments, only walk-ins. People at the front desk are extremely rude. The tone in his voice was condescending. Not only that, they won t even finish your car in the same day. They told me it would take 2 days to get my brakes looked at.

Thoroughly pleased with the service I received from here ( Liskey's Auto )Long story short, I had got brand new tires but the place I got them from ( Discount Tire ) does not provide the service of wheel alignments.Kind of weird for a tire place. I called multiple places, all over and they told me to bring it on down. They checked it out and showed me not only did I need a wheel alignment but that I first needed to do work on my front wheel. They were closing but told me to bring it back at a convenient time so a few weeks later I took my car there after they were closed, dropped key in box, and they did all the work by lunch time the next day.Price was reasonable and the work that was done very quick.Very professional and polite which is a major plus when deciding my next service.

I called about noon to see if the could look into an issue of my car in for front end shaking at highway speeds and asked if they could take care of it before they closed. I am not have one car. They said sure thing. The location was convenient to my work, I was able to just walk 3 blocks back. I received a phone call around 3:30 that my car was done and that it rides like brand new. Four tire balancing did the trick at a reasonable price $86. The front desk was very personable and they take great pride in their business. I would definitely recommend others to give them a shot!

Liskeys is always our go to place for wheel and brake service. My vehicle started making a grinding noise, took it over to them and they inspected it and called me to give me the results. We needed the vehicle for Monday, thankfully Liskeys repaired the brakes and got the vehicle safely back on the road. I was not sure it would be completed on the same day but they came through even though they were pretty booked up and busy. Thanks Liskeys!Service: Brakes

Had my motorhome (Ford E350) frontend aligned and it drove worse after the alignment than before. I was told it was likely the brand new Moog ball joints which I had installed and was recommended that I allow them to replace the new ball joints with some different brand. They noted that they've "had this problem with Moog ball joints in RVs in the past and on several occasions could only achieve a good drive after replacing them".I borrowed the necessary tools and personally checked and re-aligned the frontend. Note that I've done this work in a past life and it isn't nearly as difficult as most would believe, but I hate working on cars at my age. My first measurements matched the measurements they provided after the alignment. I guess that's good. I then checked the Ford specs as well as recommendations from Ford experts online, and then made the necessary adjustments to match. I was able to dramatically improve how the vehicle drives on the first try. It only required one $18 camber bushing and a few minutes of adjusting. I have to say that I expect anyone regularly performing alignments on professional equipment to be able to do better than me.Liskey Auto had changed both camber bushings as well but I can't help but wonder if they just used what they had in stock to save time and money instead of what would have been more optimum. The mechanic did note that they were able to just get it within Ford specs but I don't believe they actually did achieve the specs Ford published, but maybe as I could find different specs at different online locations. Regardless, there are specs and then there are what is necessary to make a vehicle drive well. Reviewing the measurements they achieved I wasn't too surprised that it didn't drive great, but was surprised at just how bad it drove.Either way, it drove worse after their alignment than before, they provided advise I find dubious at best, and which would have cost me a lot of money, for something I was able to fix by redoing the job I paid them for.It may be ignorance, lack of caring about quality, or worse, but I just can't recommend this place, for alignments anyway.Service: Wheel alignment

I ve had Mechanics in Michigan, a couple in Washington State. None have even come close to the quality, service and prices of Liskeys. My mechanic, Bill explained everything that was going on with my 4 wheel drive, and corresponding issues, taking me back to show me hands on what he was doing/finding. I have never had a mechanic that was so honest and respected my intelligence as this place. Seriously, every penny I ve spent here was more than worth it, and I would recommend them to anyone. They don t take appointments, but that s because they actually take TIME to make sure they ve got it right without taking all your money in the process.Could not say better of them. Seriously. Amazing.

I wanted to get a second opinion, boy am I glad I went local! I was recently made aware that there were some issues and things that needed to be fixed on my Avalanche. Having just changed the shocks I had all four tires off recently, some of the diagnosis made sense, but some did not. I put in a call to see if I could drop off my truck at Liskey's for another look. Not long after I return to work I received a call with the diagnosis, this time I was not surprised by any of it and it all made sense. I was given a reasonable quote and they had it done the same day. The customer service was amazing, explanation was detailed and simple to understand, and they went out of their way to help. I highly recommend using Liskey's for their services.

Brought my focus in because my YouTube mechanic abilities failed me. They had a turn around time of 24 hours! I couldn't believe it. And I feel the price was very fair considering how fast the turn around was and the issue I was having (apparently fuel was flooding my engine due to misfire? I'm sure they could describe it better haha which is why I brought it in) thanks y'all! I would definitely bring my vehicle back if needed

Outstanding customer service and competent staff! Highly recommend Liskeys. I don't live in the area and was blessed when a competitor suggested them to fix my badly damaged aluminum rim vs. a costly replacement. (Thanks to a 496 pothole.) They squeezed me in to their appointment schedule late on a Friday. The staff were friendly and the waiting room very comfortable. Liskeys definitely made the best of my bad situation by restoring the rim. A+

I was told the shimming I felt in the steering wheel had to do with a bent rim. Knowing Liskey's is the only place around who straightens rims, I brought my car to them. I had recently been in an accident whereI had to replace several tires. The rims ended up bring rotated during the process . Based on what I had described, they checked both front rims discovering both were bent. After the repair, I drove the car home on the expressway at high speeds. It handled beautifully. Two weeks later, still driving on the expressway, at times at high speeds, it is still driving beautifully. I was very impressed with their service.
