After they made things right I had to stand up for it was a decent experience that s why I give them 4/5 stars. From the beginning Kristie made us feel comfortable. Oh & the hot chocolate machine IS the bomb!

Always great service! I never thought I would be one of those people who take their car to the dealership for an oil change, but here I am in my mid 40s working IT. They treat me and the car well. I trust them with the car.

Unfortunately the engine blew on my daughters Kia. We had it towed to Kia and new employee, Ray, was tasked with dealing with us He immediately let me know that the engine was part of a settlement and would be covered, along with the rental that we got almost immediately. Throughout the month and a half that it took to replace the motor, Ray was excellent about being honest and keeping us updated on the status of the car. He was personable and friendly. I really appreciated his customer service skills during this time that could ve been much more stressful than it was. Thank you Ray and the Kia of Lansing mechanics!!

I would not recommend this dealership or buying a Kia. My 2019 Sorento engine failed and for whatever reason not explained to me, the vehicle was not covered in the lawsuit. It had oil consumption issues also. They told me I had too many miles over 100,000 of warranty coverage. The sales department also confused my car with another one and tried to say I didn t change the oil! All they wanted to do was sell me a new car at 7.5% , no thanks! I work in healthcare and was stranded without a vehicle and any help from the dealership, I was just another customer .

Took my Sportage in because a light came on. When calling to schedule an appointment was told to just bring in. Upon doing so the gentleman who was going to handle the vehicle was so RUDE! his concern was informing us cost of diagnostics fee. Mind you it should be under complete warranty. Also informed us no loaner car until see if part was warranted next day still has not been looked at and the gentleman said because it was a drop off! Do not go to Kia of Lansing service center better yet don't buy a Kia!

First of all, sorry for the delay and taking your survey, but I've been rather sick over the last week or so.Isaiah Mares did a fine job of leading me through the unfamiliar process of car selection and all the paperwork that went along with acquiring it. Overall, it was a very good experience. I've been enjoying the car for the last couple of weeks, when I've felt well enough to go out. I have to highlight Kia of Lansing, Nichole my service writer and Staci my Saleswoman because they have been absolutely phenomenal. I purchased a brand new 2024 Kia Telluride in July of '23. (I absolutely love it) We hit a deer at the end of October and ended up having to send it to a "preferred" body shop and I was hesitant....but that was what the insurance required so we did. Fast forward and we've had issues after the repair. Kia has stepped in and assisted with the entire situation, I am so grateful! Nichole has gone above and beyond as well, the issue I was having they were having a hard time replicating. After hearing my concerns she went out herself to look into it and was able to experience the problem and share it with the technician(s). They are still working on it, but I feel very taken care of and I am so happy to have a dealership I can trust.

I had a great experience with KiA of Lansing. They are professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. 0 hassle through the purchase of my 2023 KIA Sportage hybrid. My whole family loves this car. It s well programmed with lots of new features, such as automatic climate control, automatic mode for wipers and the high beam.most importantly is it saves a lot of gas.

My fiance and I were told at purchasing of his vehicle that our first oil change would be on the house. He goes in today and my fiance was called a liar and treated terribly because they didn't want to cover the oil change. It's sad that we are told a lie as an extra push and congratulations on his first financed car to purchase a vehicle and they can't hold up to their end of the bargain and we get stuck over paying for an oil change because it was at the dealership. We could have gotten a coupon and paid much less at Valvoline but instead we went there for our first "free" oil change and when it was all said and done they said nope we aren't paying, called him a liar and he paid 98 ollars and some change for a service we could have gotten somewhere else for almost half the cost. Thanks Kia of Lansing, you keep reminding us why we will not be returning for another vehicle or for any other services.

Every single experience with this place has been a roller coaster- if it was assembled in 20 minutes by carnies. I ve had my car in for 3 major repairs over the course of 70,000 miles of ownership on my Niro. The first issue had a service bulletin that I cited to get them to cover the cost of/implement an alternative fix. They gave me the roundabout on why it didn t qualify even though the faulty part was the one mentioned in the bulletin. After repairing that, I later experienced similar issues. Took it back in, and they couldn t find the issue but documented that it was brought in before it hit the limit on the power train warranty.Some time passes and my car is overheating again. Took it back in, and the cylinder block was warped and the EHRS was ruined as a result. Cylinder block was on a service bulletin, but now I was at 104k. The tech working on my car said they d get it all covered since the whole issue stemmed from a service bulletin problem. Under those pretenses I okayed the repair.I later inquired about the progress, and was told that I would have to pay about $4000 out of pocket on the repair. Had to call all of the way to the top with proof that I consented to the repairs being covered at no cost to me and that I was told it would be honored. Took about 4 months without my car, but at least they covered my loaner and rebuilt my engine .Except, less than 5,000 miles later, my engine blew. The dealership took no responsibility for this happening literally told me to make a claim against the place that did my last oil change even though they weren t at fault.Estimated cost of repair was around $10,000- quoted at 80 hours of labor for an engine swap. Wouldn t even budge on that. Told me the hole is in the bottom of your engine. the cylinder block is in the top, so it isn t our problem .Car is valued at about $7,500 in working condition at this mileage. Repairs cost 33% more than that, and I still have 2 years left on the financing for this car that is now worth $300 in the eyes of the scrap yard if I can get the lien removed. Nobody wants to take it in on trade right now, so I m forced to find a new car while I m still paying for this one. Refused to go back to Kia after all of this.

First Time I ve EVER been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!Oil Change at 8AM - not done until 9:40AM, only for my car to be smelling and smoking! Why? Let s take a look at these pictures!WHY WHY WHY was my oil cap not replaced and why is there engine oil now ALL OVER MY ENGINE?This is the ONLY VEHICLE I have that my son s wheelchair fits in #ContactingMyLawFirm

This review is for the service department and body shop of Kia of Lansing. I can not say much about buying or trading a car at this dealer. We bought a Soul there many years ago without any issues, other than that Kia Corp. significantly overstated the gas mileage for that particular car. I should have learned my lesson of buying a Kia, but unfortunately bought a Seltos at a different dealership due to general car shortage at the time. I had brought the Seltos in for service twice at Kia of Lansing, 1st a warranty case related to transmission failure (at <24K miles!) and 2nd because of damage to the front wheel. In both cases the service department failed completely. There were issues with checking the car in, getting it looked at and doing the repair work. Zero communication, not a single call from the dealer in the combined almost 4 weeks my car spent in their shop. Every time I had to call I got different statements and over-promises on deliverables. My experience with the brand and this local dealership in particular make me reconsider buying a Kia ever again.

Kia of Lansing was contacted on 9/11 after receiving another recall notice for front coil springs. I asked that the sparkplugs and oil change be added too. The earliest appointment date of 10/25 was accepted.The vehicle was available at the designated time and I received a text message stating I could text back with questions and use the included hyperlink to check on the service status. After 2.5 hours of not seeing a status change I responded to the text string to confirm the status. No response. I did have two representatives share that the sparkplug change was three hours...which I appreciated.I was deeply disappointed to learn that the front coil springs were not in stock and have to be ordered.Your service department is the hardest working group in the dealership. Please give them the tools and headcount to make their job easier.

I had a very nice experience working with Isaiah. He made the trading in and buying process very stress-free. I am in love with my 2023 Kia Forte. I only rated a 4 because I wish I would've had better financing options available. The payment is a little higher than I'm used too.

The service manager was understanding and informed of issue I brought the vehicle in for, although they could not recreate the issue they did document it for further notation. I am pleased with the service i received during this visit.

The dealership that I dealt with was very nice. The salesman Jeff Miller was very nice. He answered all my questions and wasn t pushy. He did a lot of looking for the color of car I want and was patient with me when I changed my mind and chose another color. He worked with me to get the things I wanted on the car and suggested things I didn t think of. My overall experience buying a Kia has been very pleasant and so far I really like the Sportage and I love the color.

I took my car and they agreed to subtract the inspection fee from the total amount if I wanted to fix the issue. After they finish the diagnose, the asked me to pay a huge amount to fix the headlights . In the same time they refused to subtract the inspection fee like they promised before. It was a bad experience with this location. I advise everyone not to go for them. Their prices are over what others asking to fix the same issue. Staff are in rush and they don t have time to speak with customers. I ended up paying over $400 for useless inspection!!!Update:I bought a used fuse box for $25 and the issue had been fixed. The dealership asked for $2k to fix it!!
