I had my '17 Pathfinder in today for electrical issues; no heat/blower, power windows taking out INFO center. As a customer, + I've known Chris for 10+yrs. Better than any dealer.for almost 10 yrs. So smart, so detailed, he + his crew are simply the BEST ever. Forget dealers. This is your place to fix what's wrong. I'll not go anywhere else.

These guys are quick! They fixed up my 2012 Fiat 500c within 24 hours! They know what they're doing, and are very good at explaining what's going on with the vehicle. I sadly have to take her back in to see if they can fix her further, and have full confidence they can do so. Very good work, I'd even just get oil changes there.

Pay twelve hundred dollars Coolant fan alternator.Alternator Upper radiator hose Improperly installed no host clamp.Radiator bracket bolts missing I had to fix this shop's work I would advise people to stay away

Chris, Scott and the entire Handz On team are fantastic. They are nothing but honest with what is wrong with your car, how much it cost to fix and what needs to be done immediately. We had my Kia Sorento at the Dealership and Tuffy. Both places kept passing the buck on who s fault caused the damage. Handz On was recommended by a co worker and we decided to get a third opinion. Come to find out the catalytic converter that Tuffy replaced twice was put on backwards. After not having the car for 2 weeks we had Handz On fix it. The car runs like brand new and we will not being going anyplace else for either of our cars in the future. Thank You so much for the fantastic work! Rob and Trina Shaw

I have been Taking my cars to Chris for years now. I have recommended many of friends and family to him and they have never been disappointed or let down by Chris. Chris will not only take great care of you and your cars but he will also educate you on why your car needs what it needs. As a customer you are never left in the dark and always know exactly what is being done to your car and why. Chris and his extremely knowledgeable mechanics take the time to go above and beyond service to create a unique car experience that you will not find anywhere else. Handz on Foreign care is the only place that will ever touch my cars, if you check them out you'll understand what I mean.

If I could give them 15 stars I would.I have received nothing short of the best & honest care from Chris and the guys at Handz On.The family at Handz On provides options, honest estimates, and timelines for every job I ve needed. Jobs big and small.I even live in a different state now and still circle back to my trusted guys here bc I know they will not lead me astray and will let me know if I m being ripped off.I am a young woman, who is both suspicious of and often subject to dealership upcharges & mechanic manipulation.I needed a reliable and trustworthy shop when I moved to Lansing. And I 100% got that from Handz on.

The owner Chris is on site everyday. Scott and the rest of the hands-on family are there on the daily to take care of all worries details that you might have about your automobile. Attention to detail. We started going to Chris and his dad back in Grand ledge before they moved to the store. His wife used to answer the phones and it's a family business That has grown. We love the Understanding of the old school attention to detail and of taking care of your car. I do not know a lot about cars but my husband does and he has total confidence in Chris. They've got you covered! Go in and ask for Chris He's got your back! Hope that helps!

I do not recommend taking your vehicle here I took my 2011 Nissan Altima here because I needed a transmission replacement apon speaking with Chris I explained to him I had it diagnosed in two different places and was told I needed a transmission I had my car towed over there and three days later was told it wasn't my transmission it was the engine so I excepted that because in my mind I'm not a mechanic so they know what there talking about I gave them 3700 dollars they had my vehicle a week and a half I spoke with them three times and was told everything was going great and I could pick it up when I got there to pick it up my car was loud and I was told it needed a transmission witch I told them that from the beginning so he further instructed me to drive it a lil bit and everything should be good I made it home and my car went back to doing the same thing it was doing before I had it sent there not driving the problem was never solved 3700 dollars later and being a single mother of 5 children that money wasn't easy to come by they never tried to help figure out a solution to get my car fixed I'm very livid and will be seeking court assistance because i feel like I was played out out money that I could have put on a new vehicle to get me and my kids were we need to be instead I'm out of money and a vehicle with no assistance or help from them I don't recommend anyone taking your car there especially if there just taking money from single women who work hard to provide for there family's I've yet to receive a call or anything about this matter

Id brought my 07 RS4 Here a total of 3 times all for oil changes, I decided I was willing to pay for convenience being my trust shop was a long drive. During my first visit I wanted to ensure proper care was taken since I highly value this vehicle and was putting trust in them to do as such.The overall interaction between the office guy and I was pretty good across the board, however on my way back to work(roughly a 14min drive)my low oil level light came on about 1 mile from work. I'd called handz on and let them know what's going on. At first, the suggestion of driving it back was made, but later on the office guy called back and insisted that a tow truck be brought to pick it up just in case. I'd given them the benefit of the doubt, I'm an understanding man and things happen and chalked it up as an oversight. I was mistaken. I was told the mistake stemmed from the computer system which called for 8qt of oil when it was in fact 10qt. The fix was that they would make a note for any future oil changes.Fast forward to the second oil change. Called to make my appt, got it all set up, and stopped over during the day before going back to work. I sat and waited as I usually do, and when it was finished I'd made payment, collected my vehicle and was off to work. Again, about 1 mile away from work, my low oil light came on. This time I was slightly more prepared. I'd called handz on, informed them of the situation and was suggested that I drive it back to top it off. I told them not to worry about it since I had a fresh oil in the car and that id take care of it. This time I was certain incompetence was to blame and that id be taking extra precautions in the future(yes, at this point I should have taken future oil changes into my own hands as I always have, however I did not)

Charged a hefty diagnostic fee on my range Rover to tell me I need to take it to the range Rover dealership could have just said we can't do anything and would have had a customer for life ... But you didn't.. so now u don't P. S. stop texting me for reviews you don't want it

If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would! Apparently they will only fix a several thousand dollar mistake they made by damaging a car IF the customer changes their google review to 5 stars and leaves a positive review. Lost wages of over a month, multiple towing fees only to find out from a dealership that the car was damaged by THIS place.*Their response. They do NOT have any information about being their customer. I was there. I have been there with my son multiple times. I saw his review and how you MADE him change it in order to fix his car. I am reporting to the BBB as well as the attorney general. You forced him to pay multiple tow bills by giving his car back with a check engine light still on, he was unable to work as his car IS his work for a living. You owe him several weeks of pay plus towing bills if you want anyone to be satisfied. You were paid $2,000 for the water pump, then caused OVER $5,000 worth of damage to the fuel system, gave him the car back. I have the paperwork from the dealership that shows everything I'm saying is absolutely TRUE

Chris is the absolute best! He s very honest about vehicle repairs and inspections. I would highly recommend going here if you re looking for a trustworthy place in Lansing have your vehicle diagnosed and fixed!

I was 4 states from home and had an auto that means the world to me a close family connection. I was attending my daughter"s wedding when my Jaguar left me in the hands of Handz on. I was helpless at first but soon left feeling trust. The team at Lansing Handz on took great care of my car. Fixing it at a fair price and keeping it safe during the whole process. I highly recommend Lansing, Michigan's handz on.

Possibly the best place to service your car. Very good price and very good service. Performed carbon clean up and brake job for half the price than quoted by dealer. Highly recommended.

We were halfway on a road trip from Ontario to a Indiana when our car lost speed and the ability to accelerate. Luckily we got off the interstate, called Handz On based on a quick google search and they were happy to see us right away! Before long Chris had discovered the problem was our transmission and gave us wise and much appreciated guidance and advice to keep us going on our trip as soon as possible.Very friendly staff and atmosphere, they were honest and made a stressful situation bearable.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Great place to get your car serviced. My dad needed to get his 2005 Toyota 4runner's rear brake line replaced and some other minor issues. Scott and Chris were great and very transparent on the exact total cost and what needed to be replaced. Communication was excellent. I made an appointment over 2 weeks in advance because I know they get busy. I drop my car off for an oil change, and they take it back out to let me know they are done but they found a few things they recommend I do such as tire rotation and change out air filter. I tell them to go ahead and do them. 3 hours later, they still had not done it and I had received a text saying that it was done. I head to the place and they are still not done. The manager explained that most of the mechanics called in sick today and that the text was a mistake. It is not my problem you are understaffed just to save a few bucks. I had made that appointment weeks in advanced to make sure everything got done. Such a disappointment. I am not taking my car out there again.Services: Tires, Oil change

Handz on gave me one of the best mechanic experiences I've had. I dropped off my 2014 Range rover evoque for a coolant leak and they promptly did a full inspection and showed me a few things that I'll need to get checked out in the future but were not push in the slightest. They are excellent at communicating and send updates to your phone. 10/10 will definitely use Handz on as my mechanic in the future.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Chris has always went above and beyond for me. I can expect him to thoroughly explain whatever my vehicle issue may be, how to fix it, and everything in between. Only mechanic that I trust with any foreign or domestic. Very knowledgeable and honest while giving his 100% in any work he does, never cutting corners or leaving any questions unanswered. The whole staff at Handz On Foreign Auto Care is very professional. Chris is excellent at diagnosing your car and telling you what's up with it. I had a bunch of repairs done on my stage 1 BMW 428XI, and he was more than happy to take the time out from his busy schedule to let me know what issues are we looking at, how soon you should get them fixed and quoted me fairly. Its not the most cheap, but it's a bang for the buck. For great quality I'll pay a higher price. They really made me feel at ease with all the good work they did on my car. I had a front axle replaced. The CV boot was torn after 1 year and Handz On backed up their warranty and replaced it for me. Scott was was very helpful and courteous. He assured me that they would take care of replacing the front axle and they did. Thank you for the great customer service!

I have been to Handz On a few times now for my 2009 Mini Cooper, the service has been excellent. Chris does a great job of explaining what was wrong with my car and how to fix it. Even showing me the issues in the shop when the car was on the lift. He he gone above and beyond working out multiple quotes so that I can be informed of future maintenance costs and they have done a great job fitting into my busy schedule with trips provided to home and work in the local area. I would highly recommend Handz On to anyone needing a mechanic in the Lansing area.

I had issues with my BMW 5 series 528i xdrive and I was looking up the best service center near me who takes care of imported cars. I have heard from my friend and I called up to set an appointment. I have been set into a time within a day and they are right on spot to diagnose the issue and provided me with an affordable costs for fixing the same. My son has taken his car to Handz On auto repair a couple of times & he was pleased with their professionalism with customer service & mechanical expertise. I spoke with Chris, the manager regarding my rack & pinion & other suspension concerns & he had his mechanics to diagnose my vehicle to confirm that the vehicle needed a rack & pinion. So, I gave him a deposit to order the part which was replaced today. It was nice to be offered a loaner vehicle which I accepted. He has been professional, honest, and his mechanics are friendly & skilled.

I have an older vehicle that I just love, never had any problems until 2 years ago. My husband had his car serviced at Handz On in the past and had a good experience. I ended up having some major engine work done, pretty scary! Chris and his staff are very knowledgeable. Before any work was done Chris explained exactly what the problem and how they could solve the problem. Fast forward almost 2 years and my older car is still on the road. I highly recommend Handz On, I have found these folks to be skilled and honest!

My car was making noises for several months and I didn t understand how this could be possible when I replaced many parts on my front end. When I spoke to Chris initially, he told me my options and to bring it in. As soon as I heard my options I knew he was very knowledgeable, which made me feel confident about having him service my vehicle. He s all about saving you money also so that is always a plus! Appreciated the owners knowledge expertise and willingness to communicate. I thought I needed a new A/C compressor but was diagnosed with a loose belt and overfilled A/C system. I was very happy to get this repair done at way less than half the cost I expected rather than replacing the compressor. The owner went out of his way to accommodate my vehicle. I had another hard starting issue when it was hot. He could not duplicate the problem but recommended replacing the fuel pressure regulator which solved the problem so far at a very reasonable cost.
