My truck needed some serious bodywork done from some damage, so I took it to this Gerber Location.Alex, the General Manager, did an excellent job orchestrating the repairs from start to finish.He was attentive as soon as I brought my truck in, and was very thorough explaining the repair process. His team got my truck completed much sooner than what they anticipated. Their work is outstanding.I highly recommend this Gerber location. Alex and his staff take pride in what they do!

First time customer. I had Capital City Collision repair my 2018 Camry after a run in with a raccoon. My vehicle was back on the road less than one week after the accident. The work is impeccable, color match is perfect. The team was awesome, explaining everything throughout the process. I picked up the car, and they topped off fluids and detailed my interior. I highly recommend this business for any bodywork.

I had a great experience at this Gerber. The staff are kind and attentive. Anita in particular was very informational and thorough with the details of the repairs and even questions related to insurance. Our estimated time was 16 days and job was done in 5 days. They worked well with the people of Herts in Lansing airport providing transportation and rentals. The repair of the looks good, very much like the original. Highly recommended. Thank you to the techs in the back for your hard work.

Overall quick with a great crew. There was only one flaw that I experienced. I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but one side of the liner in the wheel well was not put back into place, but the other side has. And I don't know what to do about this small issue?

I wouldn't recommend gerber at all. The work performed is mediocre at best. I'll go back to barnum and tenny next time. They like to speak highly of themselves but could not produce equal results. If u have someone's car for 6 weeks you'd think you could get it right. Obviously they just kept it for that long so they could charge the insurance company more money.....not pleased at all.Service: Painting

They glued my tire rim on and didn t want to replace the actual rim because it cost $250+Shipping . I have full coverage insurance so at this point they were just being lazy . Good luck

I have gotten work done on my car from them twice and both times they made my car look better than new, cleaned the exterior and made the interior smell amazing! Everyone there is helpful and nice to work with! Would recommend!

Very friendly people at the front desk. ALEX did a great job on my car .Even though I had a few small issues after they fixed my door , he assured me to come back until my problem was taken care of. Thank you!

Took my equinox there. Not only did the company do a bang up job fixing It (my wife loves the way it looks). They went above and beyond to fix my push button lock on the door that was repaired. Major kudos to you and your company. My wife and I are very happy with the results

I had to file an insurance claim and this business was recommended to me. I am new to the area and came out very pleased with their work. Everything was fairly quick and I was kept in the loop with updates from friendly employees. I even had to take my car back to them after having picked it up and they quickly took care of the small correction. Very satisfied!

Absolutely fantastic car shop. The car looks like new, all sensors calibrated, and most importantly they offer a lifetime warranty on quality of their work. The fact that this is a chain shop makes this warranty actually usable in case we move to another state. Highly recommend!

I had body work done during the holiday school break & they did they do a FANTASTIC job! Not only did they get it done ahead of schedule, but they returned my car to me in better shape, inside & out!! The Staff are all very friendly & knowledgeable. The quote was spot on to the final bill. I'd most definitely recommend Gerber!

The staff was all VERY friendly! They did an amazing job! I was hit in an accident about 2 weeks ago, they got my car right in, fixed it in a short amount of time and gave me a loaner car for the mean time. I will definitely be using them in the future for other repairs!

Excellent customer service and great bodywork. These folks did a very professional job on my Prius C in a timely manner. They also detailed my car before returning it to me a day earlier than promised! I highly recommend Dusty s!

Scheduled service which had a 3 week waiting before work could start. Had insurance errors by Gerber was supposed to be fixednext week and was called 2 days from my appointment that the person was 6 weeks out now. When I complained they cancelled the repair. Do not use this body shop now I have to wait weeks to get repaired again. Avoid this body shop entirely

Easy to work with, worked with me and my insurance agency to make the repair process swift. Did a great job of also a minor interior detailing I didn't expect and gave be extra touch up paint too. Wonderful people, would recommend them every time!

Capital City Auto body is amazing. I took my car there based on the recommendation from Lexus after my dad crashed into the side of my car. As a law student, I don't have time to figure out the details of mundane tasks that aren't related to law. Capital City Auto Body took care of everything. They even gave me a loaner car while it was being repaired. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They also included a bottle of paint for touch ups. I think it's rare to have such a great experience at an auto body shop, and therefore, they deserve the praise. I highly recommend them.

Chuck (the manager) is really knowledgeable and meticulous. They are willing to work with you budget to an extent. You need to be sure to let them know to call you before adding anything that will make the price go up. As you can imagine, when they start tearing into a car that has been crashed they fins more things wrong that they could not originally see. They failed to call me and let me know of these things so I could make arrangements to pay the total and not have it be a shock when I picked it up. With that aside, they did really great work and made sure everything was taken care of and that I was happy.

I have been going to Chuck for years for work on my son's cars as well as my own. He has always been honest with me about what's going on and what needs to be fixed. He has been kind, professional and straightforward and is extremely knowledgable.I check in with him at least once a year to keep my car in tip top shape and am very gratefl for his professional service. I promise you you won't be disappointed with their work!

Needed to have my front and rear bumper repainted on my Lexus CT. It's a hard color to match and they did a superb job. The quality I am happy with and they have a lifetime warranty. Lexus recommended them and it was a solid choice.

These guys were awesome. Ken and his team went WAY OUT OF THEIR WAY to install a new door on the back of our BBQ trailer for The Smoke N Pig BBQ. They actually had to go out and purchase special equipment to retrofit a door shipped from the manufacturer that was too big for the opening. In spite of all the problems they overcame to just get the door to fit they also had it done in the same time they had promised. We were used to similar service from the old owner Chuck at Capital City Auto Body and the team at Dusty's has carried on the same great tradition of high quality work at a reasonable price!! Thanks you guys!!

I took my car into Dusty's on the recommendation of my dealer. I was immediately impressed with the front office staff. when I took the car home after the body work was completed I closely examined the paint job which turned out to be amazing. I highly recommend Dusty's,

Chuck and his staff are AMAZING! Not only did they take care of my car perfectly, they took care of me. Chuck helped me navigate the insurance process. He explained clearly what was wrong with my car, then he explained what they would do to fix it. He and his staff had it back to beautiful before expected. I literally couldn't ask for anything more and I'm so very thankful for them. I truly don't understand the reviewer whom stated that they found Chuck to be condescending...that was certainly not my experience and I cannot imagine him ever speaking to someone like that. And, as single woman who doesn't understand vehicles, I would be the one that would get a condescending attitude. Chuck and his crew are rare jems...honest, trustworthy and more concerned about our safety than making an extra buck or two. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else.

Dusty's is a great and professionalized Auto Body Shop. Coming from Detroit, I didn't know a single place to take my car after it got into a fender-bender at Walmart and had my driver's back door scratched up (my poor baby). I found Dusty's Collision Shop on google maps and after viewing the high-rating and reviews, I knew this was the shop for me. I called first and was greeted by an energetic and helpful Derrick. I described to him my situation as best as I could over the phone. He gave me a few reasonable estimates, so I decided to visit the shop and find out more information. Derrick greeted me as soon as I pulled into the lot. He went over the previously-mentioned estimates , while visually describing what work needs to be done and the process it will take to get my car back in shape. Derrick even fitted me into a very tight schedule so that my car could get started on. Dusty's is a very welcoming place and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking to receive help. Got into a fender-bender and your car is banged/dented up? Go to Dusty's! Got into a big accident and your car isn't drive-able? Tow it to Dusty's! If your not from the Lansing area , like me, and confused on where to take your car....take it to Dusty's! I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I took our car to Capital City Auto Body on the recommendation of the dealer. Two days later, we received an estimate that was in line with our expectations - although the owner, Chuck, did not provide great explanations to my wife's questions, we still gave the go-ahead to begin repairs.Five days later, we received a call stating that we needed to return to the shop to discuss some things further. Chuck refused to go into details over the phone, saying that we needed to be there in-person so he could provide visuals. My wife and I are both full-time graduate students with heavy course loads, and would have been willing to approve additional repairs over the phone, but Chuck refused to proceed without our presence.We arrived later that afternoon to discuss the new issues. Chuck proceeded to explain the new damage discovered, which increased the repair bill by almost 30%. My wife inquired about the damage and tried to line-up this new information with the previous estimate. Chuck was unable to answer her straightforward questions, and quickly adopted a condescending tone as he repeated the same answers again and again.My wife informed Chuck that she felt frustrated that he was being disrespectful and that she was simply trying to get clearer answers to her questions. Chuck responded that he was "sorry for her inability to understand", told us that he was frustrated we were wasting his time, and apprised us that he was no longer willing to complete repairs on our car, and we needed to have it towed by the following Monday.I told Chuck I felt his behavior was inappropriate, and that I would be writing negative reviews about our experience here. He dismissed my remark, touting his 26 years in business as proof that his practices were sound. I am sure he is adequate for anyone content to simply foot the bill, but due to his complete inability to respond to simple questions, and his appalling conduct thereafter, I would strongly advise anyone seeking a thorough understanding of the repair process to seek out anyone else's services.

Did great work on my Chrysler 300. I had some extensive engine work done at a very fair price. I'll be going back if any of my other cars have problems. Chris and Kathy are amazing.

Gerber Collision& Glass are "FANTASTIC"!!! Unfortunately my Jeep received two dings in the passenger doors from people opening up their door and smashing it in my Jeep (Grrr) They repaired the dings in my Jeep "Perfectly" they even buffed out some white on the back of my Jeep that someone else did also. They vacuumed the inside of my Jeep!!! and also washed my Jeep. I was just "AMAZED" and very Grateful that I choose Gerber Collision & Glass.!!! My neighbor and a few other people I know will be contacting Gerber for their repairs, since seeing my Jeep before and after!!! You will not be disappointed!!! Thank You Gerber Collision & Glass!!!!!!!

I will never take my car to this place again. I should have known not to leave my car in the first place because the people were a little rude especially when I told her I needed my car to get back and forth to work. Then they overcharged my insurance like crazy and kept my car for almost a week didn't even bother washing it off so it was dirty upon pick-up. I can say more but I'll just say it was a bad experience in my opinion.
