I called Dyksyra's. Jamie answered the phone. He's the crew chief there. I said Jamie, this that and the other is going on with my car. Lights are popping on and off all over the dash. He said...Bring it to me.To make a long story short...WE ROLLIN'!!I couldn't be a more satisfied customer I highly recommend the crew at Dykstra's.

Dykstra s goes out of their way to help! My first experience with them was very positive. My Jeep had a problem with the transmission. They diagnosed the issue and sent me to the dealership. They didn t even charge me!! Of course I returned to them for an oil change and they found an oil leak! I m so glad they found this issue, because it would have ruined the engine. They are fast and friendly!! I will be going to them for all of my Jeep repair and maintenance.

Best auto shop/mechanic team in the Lansing area, hands down! I m a long time customer of Jamie s. Any issue I ve ever had with any of my vehicles, he s been completely up front and honest, explaining to me the issues, how it affects my car, etc. This past month, my Traverse has given me a run for my money (literately.) But each time, Jamie and the team were able to get my car diagnosed, worked on and returned always within 24hrs.Highly recommend to anyone needing an honest and reliable mechanic!

Back to Dykstra, but this time not for an oil change. I m planning a trip in the future and I wanted to make sure everything was good to go. Jamie and his crew inspected my vehicle and found that the rear brake pads were very worn. he got me in quick and unfortunately, was not able to do the job at that time because Chrysler actually locks the vehicles computer so that the brakes cannot be released. Jamie Apologize and said that he would get it resolved quickly with Chrysler. he did just that he called me that same day and asked me to come in tomorrow morning and everything would be set. I showed up the next morning and everything went perfectly. I would Recommend going here if you need repairs done. This is my updated review after going to this shop multiple times. I have had exactly 0 issues. Thanks guys!!

Took our 2004 Kia Sorento in for a used car check up and everything was checked and fixed in a timely manner. The price was fair and Jamie is friendly and helpful. Will bring my cars back for future repairs.

I have a 2008 f250 the mechanic is very knowledgeable. He has fixed all my issues and always is honest and respectful. I always recommend friends, family and even people I don t know personally but over hear that they are having issues with their vehicle. I won t go anywhere else to have any of my vehicles worked on!!!

Blend door actuator fixed same day I dropped it off. Kept my quote over the winter and delivered beautiful work as always. Also got my freon recharged and we're good to go for good weather!

Recently had my automobile repaired at MLK shop and they did Excellent work on my car. I recommend them highly for service and workmanship. Especially Ethan and Manager Jamie.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I went in to have one flex pipe replaced. I had gone to a previous auto mechanic shop a few hours prior and they were trying to charge me $2,194- $2,251 for the repair. Being a woman I am already skeptical of mechanics. Luckily I took a man with me that is very knowledgeable in vehicles. And he told me that they were overcharging me. That's how I ended up going to Lentz.I worked with Jamie who was absolutely amazing! He walked me under my vehicle to show me exactly what needed to be fixed. I explain to him what the previous shop told me needed to be done and how much they were going to charge me. And he explained to me that all of that was not necessary. That he could get me taken care of and back on the road in about an hour. He definitely delivered & $2,000+ cheaper! They have gained a customer! I'll have no problem taking my vehicle back to Jamie to have work done.

I had a frustrating experience with the manager today. He didn't keep his promise and simply refused to admit me though I had an appointment. He fixed my appointment for 3:30p for general inspection of a car I was considering to purchase. I drove it straight from dealership but he said he was behind his schedule and couldn't take up the work. When I told him that he asked me to come at 3:30p and he would say "I'm the manager here and I know what I'm doing". Where would I go at that time on Friday (and long weekend)!! He ruined my entire plan. Be careful about this egoist man!!

Jaime, the manager is awesome, & their mechanic, Brian, is exceptionally gifted when it comes to fixing cars- he diagnosed everything thoroughly, and got it fixed in an amazingly short time with no issues! Will definitely be back! Thank you Dykstra's Auto!!

I had issues with my exhaust system vibrating and making noises. I went to a few garages was told by 3 that they would not be able to get to it until Monday. When I got to Lentz, the manager told me they would get to it as soon as they can. With in 30 minutes they pulled my truck in and looked it over. They found 2 different issues and reviewed it with me a gave me a very reasonable quote and said they would have the work done with in an hour. I was very happy. The work was done right and I was very happy that I went to Lentz. I totally recommend Lentz to everyone.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

Got my car in, in less then 2 min of me sitting down. Took about an hour to get my alignment done. Staff were super cool knowing I've been in 3x in the past weeks (my fault not theirs). I would definitely come if I ever needed more work done.

Commenting on my review that I don't remember being taking advantage by your services is a little low. The memory I have serving me says that the 49 year old car you guys had worked on was made for a 16 year old lady to be able to maintenance, that you still charged me 1,100 dollars for a carb and sparks. You test drove the car with gas in the engine still and a dead testing cell you ALSO failed to mention. All this after 2500$ in body work and mechanicals.So yeah, after about two years, it's sat since, oh certainly.Just like the truck from 94 that you've seen for 3500$ , , , just for the exhaust to still get pumped into the cabin , , , just like the Van you've seen from 2012 that had to sit that you've all seen. Including the repairs done for the thermostat and steering, which came around to about 2500$ again.But our memory isn't very good, so don't trust anything in the review. Just trust your gut like you would,huh?
