Let me begin with 2 items.1. I have easily spent over $10,000 with Discount Tire over many years. This trend will likely not continue.2. The staff at the store in question, particularly Sean and Garrett, are all respectful, patient, and professional. I nearly handed a card to Sean to offer him a job.Those items out of the way. I avoided writing a poor review of this location from my last experience in late fall of 2023 hoping it was a one off experience. Today confirmed it was not. The previous visit, I had ordered winter tires and scheduled a 10am appointment for the install on the OE rims. I mentioned that I had an appointment upon arrival. After many back and forths with staff, my car wasn't taken into have the tires put on until well after noon, at which point staff looked to be in a panic and had all hands on deck to make it happen, which was nice to see, but should never have been needed. Management clearly knew it wasn't good and did what they could to kiss up.Today, I had a 1215 appointment to swap back to the OE all seasons from the winter tires. I arrived at 1207 and I made clear to staff that I needed to keep things timely and was assured it would be. At 1245 my car still had not been taken back. I talked with Sean again, noting my need to be on time. My car was taken back at 1255, 40 minutes from when the actual appointment was. I didn't get keys back in hand until 128pm.My question is for management and Discount Tire corp, why have appointments if you don't have the systems or staff to support keeping them? Prices are nice, but it's worth 5-10% more to go to a shop that will treat my time as important as my $.If you want to reach out, this is my real name, look me up in your customer files and call me, but note apologies don't go far after it's happened more than once.Update 4/9/24: Spoke with Manager Steve last night. Was impressed with his response and the care he communicated was clearly sincere to me. Will update again upon any further changes.

I have a old 2005 grand prix with missing lug key. Real pain if you understand just how bad that can be. Well Steve took care of me. Real above and beyond for what I was expecting. Great guy. Great place. I'll be returning solely because of the service Steve delivered. Thanks guys

Garrett, Travis and the mechanics behind the scenes were just wonderful!!! I was there in February when I had a flat tire. They helped me in such an unbelievable fashion. March 22nd I returned to have the other (2) tires replaced as the tread was not good on these. Their customer service is just awesome. Due to this, Discount Tire has my business for my lifetime.

GARRETT! He is the absolute BEST! I came in right at closing, just got off work, and he didn't turn me away. I just bought 4 new tires from Discount Tire about 2 months ago and I discovered I had a screw stuck in my tire today and with my brain, toddler and the amount of time I drive my truck, I HAD to get it fixed TODAY. He made that happen and I could not be more grateful. I work in customer service, and his customer service is TOP NOTCH! THANK YOU GARRETT!! Thank you Discount Tire.

Best service I ve had when it comes to my vehicle and tires. Garrett and the team were extremely professional, friendly, and went above and beyond the call of duty this morning with the flurry of people coming in prior to the winter storm. I will not go anywhere else for my tires. 10/10 amazing service.

Came into shop at 10:30am, set up an appointment for 3pm. At 7:30pm I am still waiting for my tires. Other customers in the store had problems with employees not explaining fees and not being able to get in contact with the shop. However, technician Will was personable and made the situation better in the end & I added one star for him

I have been loyal to Discount Tire. But my complaint is about making an appointment online for a tire rotation and then being told it will be one to 1 1/2 hours. Why make the appointment? I left after 1/2 hour. I just need to stick with Costco or go to another place that had better time management.

It was absolutely freezing outside. I pulled up to get my tires checked as my tire light had just come on. The guy that was running the tire air machine had to have been freezing. He was so nice and he checked all of them and made sure that they were all the same PSI etc. I had never been through discount tire before and as I pulled in there was a huge line inside as it was getting close to closing time. I actually dreaded the thought of going in and waiting and that long line and then I saw three cars in line for air in their tires so I decided to start there. Great experience. Thanks discount tire

What s the point of booking an appointment if my car is not going to looked at for over an hour? Meanwhile others are being looked at who are just driving up. This after saying I had to keep a tight schedule to get my daughter and arrived a few minutes early. Based on other reviews this isn t uncommon here. First and last time I m coming here.

I came in with a flat. Was told my flat could not be repaired unless I bought at least 2 new tires, just because of the tread- they didn t even look at the flat. The tires they wanted me to replace are fairly new- I believe they were trying to make a sale. Coming here was a waste of my time.

Genuinely some of the best customer service I could get as a woman in the tire industry! The guy who helped me was soooo kind and passionate about the company!! Fantastic representation of a company.

Website was easy to use in setting up my appointment and purchasing my tires. Took just over an hour from my arrival to be back on the road, which was unexpected. Everyone from the service clerk to the technicians was extremely friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. It's a shame I only have to come back every 3-4 years because the people at this location certainly deserve your and my business.

Went in to get tires placed. There was a line and a disgruntled customer and I had an appointment. Got tired of standing with my medical condition and left since line was getting longer. You need more people inside to assist customers walking in and those who have appointments like me.

This Discount Tire has taken amazing care of me both times I've needed help. Having purchased certificates to insure my tires the associates here have been nothing but nice and understanding. This time, Garrett really made me felt taken care of, making sure that I was helped in the best way possible. He was even so thoughtful to see that I had groceries on me and let me store them in a refrigerator. Thank you Garrett and thank you Lansing Discount Tires. Y'all are the best.

Went in for a single tire replacement but ended up getting a full set. Employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Scott got me set up and Zach got my order together and explained everything.Only issue came with getting checked out, for some reason I was not informed when my vehicle was ready and ended up sitting for an extra hour and a half after asking twice about it. Not sure where the ball got dropped but Laker, one of the installation techs, took care of me and apologized for the issue. He did a great job and got me out the door.Wouldn't prevent me from returning for business, the crew still did a good job.Side note: The waiting area and office was under renovation so they were working out of trailers. Not sure if this contributed to the extended wait.

Great service! Always enjoy working with Scott! Very professional and knows his stuff. Walked in at 9:15 am and was out with new tires by 11am. Thought I would have to make an appointment and leave the car the whole day but they got me into the que and got me in and out.

They claimed i needed new lug nuts. Maybe I did. They charged $159 for the set. That's over a $100 more than you can get them elsewhere. Since my truck was already on the lift with its wheels off, I agreed to the purchase. I was between the proverbial rock and a hard place. They cheated me, I dont appreciate it, and they lost a customer of over 25 years.

So impressed with the organization and safety checks in place to serve customers safely during pandemic. My trailer tire had a faulty tire stem and they replaced it for free, made sure it was fully inflated and sent me on my way. Efficient, safe and cheerful service.

Had a bad experience. I ordered a set of tires and they told me to come at 8 a.m. and I didn't get an appointment until 10:30 a.m.. wasted two and a half hours and didn't get the job done. Now I have to come another time

On Wednesday July 2nd had scheduled an online appointment time. Arrived early and waited patiently. Appointment was 3:15. After 3pm several cars arrived and next thing they were getting serviced and attended to. I finally got in at approximately 3:35. Once inside one young man took off 1 tire then left. About 10 minutes later it was a rush that this car needs to be completed. Then confusion of what to be done. On Thursday July 3rd had my truck tires rotated. Explained my poor service from prior day and got in me before my scheduled time. As I waited several of the employees were horseplaying in the work bays, including a red shifted sales person. I come to expect excellent service like I have in the past and this last time over 2 days was disappointing. Then also was given the excuse because we are remodeling. Steve the manager always strives foe excellent customer service. Of course was on vacation to express my sub standard service. Hopefully things get turned around because in the past I always get excellent service.

Amazing staff kept me up to date on when my new wheels would arrive and got me in right away to put them on. I watched the whole team treat every person coming in with a lot of respect and care. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone within driving distance for your wheel and tire needs!

BAIT & SWITCH! Extremely disappointing. I have been a dedicated customer of DT since at least 2000 I have bought most all new tires from them.There are two Travis's working here. One balding Trav-b and the other with a full head of hair Trav-h.On 9/22/23 I had my car in for tire rotation. Trav-b assisted, all went well. I asked about the cost of rotation sighting my truck and tires not purchased there, many years ago, needing rotation. Trav-b looked up my history saying you have bought many tires over the years, bring it in and we will take of you, no charge, we would do it for anyone. I made an appointment for 9/29/23.Trav-h checked me in looking over the tires said we don't like to work on tires over 10 yrs old and two are 2014 date! I said so that is 9 years. He then went to the one tire and placed his hand over a marking on the tire reading Kevlar saying it has a bulge. I said I don't see it. He had a smirk on his face. I pointed out my prior discussion with Trav-b and wanting the rotation. He said for $485 they would take care of it with two new tires. And would not do the rotation even if I paid for it.A friend of mine is related to the founder of DT whom started in Ann Arbor, MI. Unfortunately he recently passed away. Mabey DT management will read this and review this situation it is the conduct of employees like Trav-h that really wrecks a company's reputation. Take this as you may for my experience.

I m a petite woman in my 20 s, so I m always on guard when I get any type of car service completed. Several other tire shops may try to take advantage of women by overpricing a service, but everyone here treated me with respect and kindness. The wait was a bit longer than expected to repair my tire, but I was amazed when they said they repair flat tires for free! Totally worth the wait.

Went there to get a flat repair and come to find out the person I bought my car from bought the warranty for the tires so I was able to get a whole new tire, plus for a small fee I transfer the warranty to my name. Great customer service you all did a great job you will have a new customer.

Love the service and how personable the crew are . Plus being a single mom and having to bring my 1 year old in with me, the men were beyond patient and understanding! Not only did I have to go in once but TWICE in one week ( purchased two tires just to decide later to purchase another pair) and both times we were greeted with that small town feel and I love that!!!!

Great people service was good.... had to wait for hour and half to get tire fixed but this is normal for tire store when not having a appointment..
