The first time I went there I had a good experience. My edge had an issue with the muffler they fixed it for a real good price and fast. Bob was very nice and didn't charge me for diagnose.i will come back again.

My husband took in his Yukon to get all new pipe for his exhaust. We had a little issue with the work done at first. But expressed our concerns and the owner did right by us and got the issue fixed. Great business etiquette! Will do business with them again! Thank you!

These guys were so helpful! When i needed to get my muffler looked at because of a exhaust leak in my Y frame, they looked at it same-day and the mechanic actually stayed late and fixed everything for me in and out in 1 hour! While i did have to wait for an available spot which was no issue, i had fun talking to the owner Bob who made me feel at home! Great place to be and a friendly environment! My truck has never sounded better before and I will be bringing back my business with them in the future!

I can t remember if I shared a review of this business, but I ve been coming to this shop for 20+ years and multiple vehicles. I went there initially because they offered me a better price for something I thought was wrong with my van at the time. It turned out to be something completely different and much less expensive. Even though I moved out of the area I still am loyal to this shop and would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Was struggling to get a rusted heat shield off of exhaust manifold, came in and they took care of me within 20 minutes free of charge! All friendly and polite and will definitely be back!

The Best place in the Tricounty areaMy Vehicles have been serviced here since 2002.Impeccable service. lowest price.Complete brakes lines master cylinder everything..ball joints etc .Complete exhaust on all of my vehicles period.. thank you

This business I'm sure is one of Lansing's best kept secrets" for many reasons, One is the Volume of work that they do in order to keep there clientele happy. Two is the quality of the work that they do! Needed to get my vehicle in today (Saturday) after attempting to do my rear brakes last night. Apparently my calipers were bad and one was sticking so bad it was heating the wheel up. They got me in quickly even with a line of people in the waiting room ahead of me. Pricing was fair and I feel they were honest about my car and even took the time to explain to me what to look for if I attempt brakes on my own again.Service: Brakes

Got my coolant leak fixed from here and they did an amazing job. Love the atmosphere. The owners an honest man and gives you honest advice with reasonable prices. Mechanic John worked on our car and did an amazing job. Will be a returning customer when needed.

Very fair price wise. Family owned. Cool local business. They also clearly know what their doing. No extra charges for putting your car on their diagnostic machine which u can get done free at any parts store usually. A good trustworthy place and they did great work. No car issues since they fixed my car.It's hard to find legit decent fair prices mechanics. But not here.

Had a busted brake line and I really didn t feel like having to drop the fuel tank to get to the line. They got me in and fixed the next day. Came with a 1 year warranty.

I highly recommend this place!! They are very friendly, honest and helpful. I had my brakes checked out because of making a noise, it turned out to be something else (bumper flap rubbing on the tire) and the brakes were fine. Noah was honest and told me that I did not need new brakes or rotors. No charge! Awesome job guys!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Busy little place, but they get you in as soon as they can and get your car fixed at a fair and reasonable price.Over 6 years I've come to them with 3 different cars for (emergency exhaust repair). They never failed to get me in without an appointment and worked quickly and professionally to get the job done.

Absolutely fantastic business . Not from Lansing so wasn t aware of good businesses in the area. I called twice to get a estimate on brake pads and rotors. they had the fairest rate in town. Not only did they have a fair price, they were able to get me in as soon as I brought my car in. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and knowledgeable. They got my car finished in a quick time frame. I highly recommend them for repair in the Lansing area.Service: Brakes

Incredibly professional and friendly. Prices were reasonable and service was completed in a timely way. They explained the cost of the work needed beforehand so there were no surprise charges. Fathers and women beware... Sent my daughter to get her brakes fixed, and they provided times that the car would be done up front a few time. When she checked in with the desk after the original etr, they told her 30 min, then an hour later when she asked, instead of sincerely apologizing for making her and others who count on her for a ride late to work and failing to meet the several times they'd provided, 3 grown men ganged up on her and insulted her. Bob at the front desk remained professional and kind. Recommend you go elsewhere...

Called around a couple places, Discount Mufflers was the friendliest on the phone. He gave me a range of estimates depending on what would need to be fixed for my exhaust pipe and muffler, then told me inspections are free for getting estimates in shop. They quickly checked out my car, gave me a fair price, and fixed everything in 30 minutes.

I've been coming to Discount Muffler and Brakes for more than 20 years. Always honest, reasonable prices and will do their best to keep the costs down. I trust these guys from brakes, suspension issues, exhaust to computer modules.

My wife and I have been coming to Discount Muffler for many years. We like the fact that we can get our car checked for problems once a year for free. Bob the owner and Dee, the head mechanic, are both very knowledgeable, as are all the mechanics Bob hires. They will let you know if there is anything unsafe that needs to be fixed right away. Plus they will also tell you if something can wait and about when it will need to be addressed. I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna van with over 200,000 miles on it. Now that the brakes are fixed, which I was told about, Bob and Dee both advised me not to put much more money into the van, as it will probably run fine for about 2 years yet. They said if something big breaks at this point, it's time to get another vehicle. How many shops could you get that kind of upfront honest advice from. Not too many that I know of. When I'm waiting for my car, I highly recommend to new customers, just coming in, that this is a good honest, trustworthy place for them to bring their car. I don't know how long they've been in business, but we've been coming a very long time. Their prices are fair and very reasonable.
