I had an amazing experience at this place! The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The service was quick and efficient, but without feeling rushed. It's a local family-owned business, which makes it even more special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service and a warm atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

I stopped in to have my tire pressure checked. I was told to come back by an older man behind the counter. The 2nd time I came back I was told the wait would be more than an hour by this same man. I ran an errand, came back within 30 minutes and there was this lovely lady behind the counter, who immediately got one of the men in the shop to assist me. The gentleman who assisted me, patiently showed me how to check the tire pressure for myself. I gave this a 5 star rating, because the 3rd time was definitely a charm!!!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE I have ever taken my vehicle. These guys were swamped. 15 cars in the lot and down 2 mechanics. I rolled in with an emergency, and Jared and John HOOKED. IT. UP!!! Even gave me a ride to get the parts so I could be taken care of SAME DAY!!! I m serious people. If you got an issue, take it to affordable. Ask for Jared or John and you will NOT be disappointed.

Only had a nail in my tire, but I had very friendly and quick service. This was a couple months ago, but forgot to leave a review. They also took time out to do it when they were close to closing. That was VERY appreciated. I'll be calling for my brakes asap for the winter time! And they are acting up.

Have to say what makes this place stand out is the employees. Guys in the garage are friendly and knowledgeable. Jared who runs the front end of the business is amazing

Stopped in for my first time today for an emergency fix on my gas door which was stuck. I had only needed someone to help pry my door open but instead Mike fashioned a new spring to help it pop open again in the future. Everyone at the shop was unbelievably kind and accommodating to me (and my little dog who happened to be with) and were able to fit me in while taking care of other clients. I am incredibly grateful to the entire staff and highly recommend the service at this family-owned business!

The name is accurate - affordable and service. They don't take unfair advantage, just provide good, reliable service.They do a lot more than tires. Needed a windshield wiper blade replaced today - no problem!

Traveling through Lansing and got a flat tire. Called and these guys. Limped my car over and they took me right in. Last shop installed the hubcaps wrong and they cut the valvestems.Affordabletire put new valvestems in all 4 tires. They knew I was traveling. They could have really took advantage of me.... But the price was more than fair!!! Thanks

These guys are the best! I was in town working on a holiday weekend and I couldn't find a shop that would look at my car. Then I found this shop behind Valvoline and they went out of their way to fix my problem so I could drive home on Sunday. Really went above and beyond to fix my car. I highly recommend taking your car there.

I went in because my brake light was out.. it has been a horrible few months and when I went to pay, AFTER John had to struggle with stripped screws and rust, Jarrod was AMAZING and said it was his birthday so it was on him... Thank you so much you guys! Definitely will be back!

The good:I talked to Jared initially and he was knowledgeable and helped select the tires I needed. He said to call the following week since he had to order them.The not so good:I called Tuesday afternoon and was told the tires were in. I asked when I could come in and was told by the lady on the phone to come in at 8am and they can be done in an hour. I came in at 8am and was told it wouldn't be an hour. It ended up taking about 3.5 hours. This isn't an unreasonable time, the issue is being told it would be an hour. I don't need to be the top priority but I like to have reasonable expectations set so I can plan accordingly.The interesting:One of the tires sprung a leak and day i got it and I called. I was told to bring it in right away. I brought it in and the lady at the desk took my keys without saying a word to me. I just wanted to know what the plan was but got nothing. I wasn't in a bad mood when I came back (things happen) but I was after this. I think it is reasonable to want to know what the plan is when something like this happens.The tire technician fixed it and was very kind and knowledgeable though.This would be 5 stars if customer service was better, but 3 stars as it stands. I understand people can have off days so I wouldn't say don't bring your car here, but I just wanted to share the good and bad of my experience.

At 3:20 p.m. on the Tuesday after a holiday weekend, they got me in and out in 90 minutes with 4 new tires for a great price. Jared was helpful, personable, and efficient. The easy and quick experience relieved a lot of anxiety of a single person who needs to get to work the next day. Stopped by this place on a recommendation from my neighbor, who's a Motorhead. His opinion on matters involving vehicles holds weight.I put about 30k miles on my 18 foot trailer and diesel transit every year, so having a good general service place is a must. It's usually a massive headache, especially since I'm only home from Monday - Wednesday and travel for gigs Th-Sun. But Affordable Tire & Service Center is legit. Their prices are extremely fair and they have some real talent in their service staff. Everyone is knowledgable and friendly - and they always seem like they're having a good time. Jared, in particular, is a super friendly and helpful dude. They'll let you know if a particular fix is going to be an unnecessary expense, which I always super appreciate. They saved me a lot of money on repairs, diesel oil changes, and, of course, tire replacement (my rig has 10 tires in total).This is top notch local business and I'm certain you'll be more than pleased with your service.

After doing great work on the original repairs I brought my truck in for ,I asked them about a gas leak that I was concerned about.Instead of sending me away for another day these guys stayed Afters hrs and got my leak fixed. Today, for a first time I visited Affordable Tire. I have lived in the East Lansing area for over 15 years but I have never stopped in the store. Jared is an outstanding guy. He was 200% fair with the price he charged me to repair a tire for my snow blower. Other shops tried to charge me 50% more than what Jared charged me. I always appreciate an HONEST, family oriented shop like this one that takes good care of it's customers so they will keep coming back. Jared convinced me that I need to come back and hopefully get some tires for my dodge charger. They have earned my trust and loyalty with just one visit. ;) Great job Affordable Tire. Top notch family owned businesses. They re the place to go for price, customer service, and overall quality. They have all your tire needs plus so much more. The guy that was there when I was there, Jared, is top of the class and great to work with. If you haven t been you got to check it out!

Very friendly, helpful and fast service. I needed a tire repaired because of a nail that was stuck in it. They were able to get me in and out and it was very affordable. We had a blow out and we re stranded all night. We called numerous places before finding Affordable Tire. Everyone we called or went to would not help us out we needed to put our used tire on a rim. Firestone sent us away because our tire was used knowing we ve been stranded all night and the spare was about to blow too. Pretty sad they wouldn t help when we were willing to pay. We found affordable and they took us right away they charged us a reasonable price and they were super friendly!!We appreciate the hospitality and willingness to help people out! Great service, fair pricing. I have to purchased 2 full sets of tires and had alignment work done here. I always felt like they were up front and fair. I plan on doing business here in the future. A great locally owned small business, which seems to make all the difference when the person you talk to owns the business.

This right here is hands down the best place to go for repairs. The owners are real down to earth and easy to get along with, and not just trying to make a buck off you any way shape or form that they can. I would HIGHLY recommend this business to any of my family or friends! Don't pass up a good thing people! If you're thinking of getting repairs give them a call or stop in!

This place is AMAZING essentially because of the DOWN to earth owners who are just normal folks that will take GREAT care of you!! Great prices and hospitality while you wait!! I have special application tires (circle track) and they helped me beyond expectations and I had a GREAT experience!! I highly recommend your small town friendly family owned AFFORDABLE tire for all of your vehicle service needs and TIRES!!

Great service! They got me in the same day to check out my tire only to find out it wasn t repairable. Tires were still under warranty where I bought them so they put my spare on for me and explained everything I needed to do for free! As a female I m always afraid I ll be taken advantage of when it comes to cars, but this place went above and beyond to take care of me. 100% recommend!

******** <--- These represent the additional stars I wish I could give this place! Amazing staff who were friendly and helpful! I believe one young woman was named Alex, and I didn't catch the other woman's name, but both were awesome. Woke up with a flat tire at quarter after 8, and I was on the road by 930. Price was better than anywhere I looked as well. I will be coming here for all of my auto needs from now on!

I called every auto company in Lansing area trying to get my Cadillac in because of a failing charging system. I knew that the alternator in this car was a difficult job and everyone was too busy to get me in let alone have it done the same day. I called affordable tire and service because they did a few small jobs for me and when they told me to bring my car in I wanted to be sure that they knew what they were getting into. He said bring it in and later in the afternoon they called me and told me it was done. I was very very happy with Their services. And I recommend them to anyoneService: Electrical repair
