I'm torn on the scoring but will explain with pros and cons. CON: Manager looked at my husband majority of the time although I (female) was the one talking and explaining the problem. I ignored this since we were desperate to get my daughter's car fixed because 1.) it was a Saturday and no one else was able to look at her car, and 2.) she was driving back to school in the U.P. the next day. PRO: Problem was diagnosed quickly (left car there around 9am, and received phone call regarding fix 10 minutes later). PRO: Picked up car in the afternoon, and problem was definitely fixed!!! CON: Not happy that I was charged the ABS DIAGNOSTIC fee of $117.99 for what took less than 10 minutes to hook up a computer to the car and read the codes. EVERY other place I've been to waives the diagnostic tests IF you have the work done there, which we did. Called and spoke with manager and he would not waive this fee. He said employees have to buy their own computers, so they get paid for this test ????????

I've taken my very old truck in there a couple of times and always have been pleased. The mechanic even took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my 4 wheel drive with pictures. For legal lability reasons, they could not fix it, but their explanation was good enough that with a steal strap, I was able to the fix the engagement of the 4 wheel drive it my self.

Twice now I have taken my car there to check out what I thought was a problem. Both times they were honest and told me it was nothing to worry about. The second time they didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. I have had excellent service there each time. Highly recommend.

Ridiculous markup on brake parts. I paid 350 for parts I could have walked across the street to Autozone and paid 200 for! Service was quick and labor was reasonable, parts markup will send me someplace else next time.

I visited Firestone this week to do a complete mechanic inspect on an used car which I plan to buy.the cost is amazing low only 22$ but the inspection results are very helpful as he found some issues to help me avoid the future expense if I have not noticed.Thank you for your professional works.

I am not one to write reviews, but I am upset about the experience I had. I took my car to this Firestone a few weeks ago. I told them the tire kept going flat and could not hold air. They took a look and said they could not find ANYTHING. They were even confused which tire it was. sure enough I took it home and the tire went flat again. I took it to Belle Tire this time and they immediately found a hole in the tire.. They said it was very obvious. Save yourself time, go somewhere elseService: Tires

Went there at 7:30 amThree guys sitting around and was told couldn t look at my tire. Guy was busy in back but yet 3 guys sitting talking. Nobody in the waiting room. Seems like they didnt want to work. Pathetic . Dont waste your time.

Two sets of tires later, my vehicles are driving better than they have in years, Destination is the way to go! Great, friendly staff that had my vehicles in and out in only a few hours giving the kids and I the chance to walk to the park and get a bagel while we waited.

I'll start with the good. They were fast and service was good. Now onto the bad. Their pricing is terrible! And I'm not talking about the labor. I don't mind paying for labor as that's the thing I either cannot or do not want to do. But when I can do a quick Google search and find the same parts on Advanced Auto Parts' website for 40% less than what I was charged here, I get a little annoyed. Especially since Firestone probably gets them from their supplier for even cheaper than what's available to Joe Schmoe on the internet. Basically whomever is setting the prices at Firestone corporate is trying to increase profits by price gouging the cusotmer on parts. I don't think I'll be going back.Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

***update took my Toyota in for some servicing needed as they said they are able to work on Toyota just fine prior and had done my oil change beforehand no problem... however they replaced my alternator with the incorrect alternator and it caused my car to shut down/off entirely in the midst of driving it home from the shop, the wipers and everything in the car were going haywire before it shut off I then took it to do the Toyota dealership and it was explained to me that the incorrect alternator for this type of make and model was put it by Firestone and it would need to be replaced with what was supposed to be in my Toyota all along and I had to take the one Firestone used back to get my money for warranty on that alternator back and which case I did but it had to be checked off/OKD by upper corporate... and then when I took in the alternator as I was told I could come in anytime the manager wasn't there in order to take back my alternator so I had to come back when he was there. It was a huge cluster of a headache and please save your time with going here if you've got a Toyota just go to the dealership.Great service. Extremely helpful and professional. They will always do you right. Thank you for always providing exceptional service.

I did not take my vehicle here but my sister did. She does not have the ability to write a review so she asked me to do it for her.She called to have spark plugs and wires changed in her vehicle which is a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, she spoke with Joe and he quoted her $240. plus tax for spark plugs and wires. When she arrived they said, they had to run a deep diagnostics test for an extra $110. she said she didn't need the deep diagnostics test and only wanted them to change the plugs and wires for the $240. She left the vehicle and when she came back they had only changed the 6 plugs and none of the wires and charged her the full $240. Beware of this place, they are taken advantage of people and what ever happened to "CUSTOMER SERVICE", where you can get what you ask for.

Brought my wifes Journey in for 2 tires, after a mis-hap with the appropriate tire size for my AWD they were fast to correct the issue and give an alignment free of charge. I liked that even though a mistake was made they were honest and open about it and made sure it was taken care of quickly. Nobody is perfect, its how we address and correct our mistakes that makes us stand out. I reccomend this tire shop, you wont find another one like it easily.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Charged us 3X more then the parts cost the average Joe and 2.5 hours labor. They had it done in 40 minutes. When I brought it up they told me they had three guys working on it lol, like I was in a hurry or something? They were just trying to make a buck, not thinking about making repeat customers.I was warned about this place, now you have been too. Service: Electrical repair

I took my truck for a ball joint and alignment. They called explaining other things were wrong like wiper blade replacement and many other things I did not needThe wiper blades flew off the first time it rained and they DIDNT TIGHTEN THE LUGNUTS ON MY TIRE. Above and Beyond expectations!! I called them yesterday mid-morning hoping to get my truck in and have my brakes serviced. (I had allowed the squeaky sound to go on a bit too long ). Rob said bring it on in and we will take a look.They have a great special going on where you can get your whole vehicle inspected for nearly nothing. I took advantage of that though just a little weary that they may come back saying you also need this and that ...Fortunately Rob called back with a reasonable estimate to fix my brakes, finding nothing more wrong than a low amp battery.What a relief it is to find an Honest mechanic. I highly recommend using this branch for your next auto repair. I happily drove my truck home yesterday afternoon knowing I found a new business I can count on. Oh and you will love the brand new facility as well!!

They are very professional. I called about getting a set of tires mounted and balanced and also an alignment, I droped it off the same day and it was done the following day. They were not able to adjust my caster on the front and camber on the rear but they told me what to get in order to fix it. The final price was $40 lower than they told me over the phone. This place beats any tire shop around lake orion. Im going here from now on!

I made an appointment for my alignment on their website and it somehow changed from waiting to drop off but they still got it done in an hour nonetheless and did a good job.

It's a long story basically they said they could find nothing loose under the truck. I was certain there was a bad U joint at the very least. Obvious clunking noise while shifting from reverse to drive. When I told Dave the manager I was gonna come up there and recreate the noise in the parking lot for him he called a few minutes later claiming to have heard one of the noises that I was talking about.. That noise noise was only audible at road speeds of 45 miles an hour or more, when the truck was under deceleration. Took it home and was able to diagnose the rear U joint was in fact loose/worn in 3 minutes. This was done by visual and barehand wiggling of the drive shaft.

I took my car here for some repairs that I hoped would be covered by my new purchase warranty. They went above and beyond with the warrant company. Everything was covered and then some.

Worst service ever. For a new store you think they would want your business. Ask for a quote on tires said they would get back to me and never heard back until I called them. And the only reason I even called them back is just to get a price so i can negotiate with other dealers. So sad!
