Omar was a straight shooter and helped diagnose a problem with our Prius. We initially thought it was the big battery but he determined it was a cheaper fix. So far so good. Appreciated his honesty and help!

Amazing shop! Omar, the owner, is a certified Master-Mechanic. His prices are very fair and he and his staff are extremely honest, transparent, and very eager to help. After my Subaru's clutch failed right before I was set to drive to the West Coast from Kalamazoo, Omar replaced my clutch on a very short turnaround to get me back on the road. After making the drive to the west coast (about 2,500 miles), the clutch is still doing fantastic and the car drives like new. Westnedge Auto was easily the best experience I've had with any auto shop.

Found the service to be professional, accurate and true to estimates in both time and cost. A family member was traveling in the area, on a trip across the US and suddenly had noise from the clutch release bearing. This shop was closing but provided an estimate via the website contact form. We received the quote within 4 hours of requesting. The online presence and website design are excellent - highly commendable.Once the work started, we received photos of the progress and updated estimates of completion date. It was clear that the technician(s) working on the clutch replacement were extremely capable and familiar with the model of vehicle. The work was completed ahead of schedule. The service manager recommended that we drive a bit locally before resuming the long road trip, just to be sure all was well. Offered to recheck things as needed.I am an aircraft maintenance technician and have fairly high standards for vehicle maintenance. I found that the work done by the crew at Westnedge was top notch and want to thank them for treating us so well as out of towners. Great job guys!

Took my car in for rear brakes and rotors. They noticed a potential safety concern and repaired that as well without having to schedule another appointment. Got my car back the next day. Omar is just amazing! I recently moved out to Kalamazoo and he was the first person I got a service, he was very detailed in everything that my car had to be done, we worked on time, he gave me recommendation about what to do in the meantime, and also very nice and kind.I definitely found my place to keep my car in the best condition. 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone. Fantastic down to earth shop. I went here for a second opinion on several thousand $ worth of repairs another shop quoted me for. Omar and I walked through each issue the other shop mentioned as well as any additional things he saw. Omar has your best interest in mind at all times and will not sell you parts that he isn't 100% confident will make a difference in your car. Overall, should've come here first and will in the future. I got into a very rare accident and dropped my car off at Westnedge Auto at midnight on a Friday not knowing if they were going to be able to fix it. Even though they were extremely busy they made time for me. They have been so kind and responsive. We are waiting on insurance to kick in, but even during that time they moved my car inside so it was out of the elements. That is beyond what I ever expected.I will leave another review after I get my car back, but so far I have received top notch service and full transparency about the damages of my car.

Omar is an amazing mechanic and person! I've taken multiple vehicles here for diagnosis as well as calling over the phone for input. He will always give you a reasonable price and be upfront and honest with you about your vehicles problems. Highly recommend.

Omar from Westnedge Auto went above and beyond to help when my daughter s car broke down while she was away at college. He made a stressful situation very manageable. He sent text messages and photos so I knew what was happening with the car. It is not easy to find such an honest and trustworthy mechanic. I had issues with my engine hesitating and searched for a mechanic in the area. Made a call and Omar scheduled me to come in the very next day. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and gave up-front advice on the issue and cost. Friendly and honest. Issue was taken care of the very same day of service. I would recommend. Thanks.

My daughter's car turns on and off. She dropped her car off and Omar was extremely helpful and polite. He put her car on the scanner and he reprogrammed her throttle without charging us. She has a lot of problems with her car and he told us what things she needs to have fixed according to the scanner. Thank you Omar. Happy Holidays and stay blessed!

I'm so bummed it took me so long to find this place! Omar goes above and beyond. His prices are the best, he will tell you how it is, and make sure he gets to your car as quick as he can. We had to wait a long time for a part to come in and he offered me one of his cars he had for sale to use while mine was at his shop. He follows up after his work to make sure there are no issues. He takes the time to talk about what is wrong with the car and what your options are instead of pressuring you to fix it a certain way at a certain cost. I would definitely recommend Westnedge Auto to anyone.

Went here the first time I ever needed to go to a mechanic on my own since getting my first car and going to college. The owner was very friendly and direct which I like, he gave me the rundown on what would happen with my car and followed up with a call explaining the problem, and the cost to replace a broken part it had. I got my car back the very next day if I remember correctly! I really appreciated how honest and good the service this place provided for me and I ll make sure to come back and recommend this auto shop to my friends. I was on my way back from Detroit to Chicago and had a mechanical issue with my car. I'm not familiar with the area and since it was the end of the business days, other mechanics refused to take a look at the car. When I arrived at Westnedge they were really busy and accepting appointments only, however they saw how much I needed and were incredibly empathetic to my situation. He looked at my car, fixed what could be done for the time being and reassured me to be able to finish my drive home. These are great people and I am incredibly grateful for their kindness. I would definitely recommend this place!

I am so thankful I gave this shop a call! When there was no appointment available for at least two weeks at every shop in Kalamazoo, Omar was nice enough to squeeze my appointment in and fix my car within the next day. He was also generous enough to replace the battery in my key FOB for me as well! His prices are very fair and felt very comfortable leaving my car in his hands. Omar was amazing. He helped me with a quick fix until he can get my car in and made the scheduling a piece of cake. He is very professional yet also incredibly friendly. I will go back for any future car repairs. He really knows his stuff and is very fair with pricing. All around great experience.

Omar is an excellent mechanic! He fixed my car almost immediately, because I needed to travel back home with a car that was safe to drive. I was impressed by him! He is extremely honest and thorough! I highly recommend him!

Omar went above and beyond to get my car fixed as soon as he could! He also went out of his way to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle after it suddenly stopped running. He is an honest mechanic who ensures you're getting exactly what you need. He is easy going and friendly to work with!
