Chris was always a very honest and forthright guy in my dealings with him, which is rare in my experience working with diesel mechanics. When our schoolie sprung a massive oil leak earlier this summer we took it first to the freightliner in Mattawan. They claimed our engine had a crack in the block and was toast, and quoted us tens of thousands for a fix! We had a feeling this was bogus and took it to Heavy Duty Diesel Medic for a second opinion.We were so relieved when Chris properly diagnosed the problem and proposed to repair parts that most others would simply have told us we had to replace at a major cost. He explained the problem and the fix in a way that even a layman could understand. Turns out the piston for the air compressor had gone bad, pouring oil into the air compressor, air dryer and primary air tank.He salvaged the air tank and diligently found a nearly impossible to find replacement air compressor for our old bus. Costs for labor were SUPER reasonable. If you have any large diesel engine problems, call Chris, he's the man!

I had a family emergency and had to leave town right away. The turbo on my school bus had gone out. Chris had cleared his schedule to take care of my situation so that I could manage my family emergency. Great job mr. Thank you very much

Truck broke down and I was stuck. Called around to figure out options and the minute I called this shop and spoke to Chris, I knew I wanted to give him my business. He told me he was busy as most diesel mechanics in the area told me, but he said he would squeeze me in and if there was any way he could possibly get me running right then and there, he would. He diagnosed the problem and had me rolling in an hour with a very fair price. Definitely a go to for your diesel truck needs if you're in the area.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Tried 2 times to give this guy money. He took about 15 minutes out of his day to get me an alignment on the area. Wish he did them I'd have loved to use him so very helpful.
