Great shop in a nice area. Very professional look and feel to the place. The owners are always helpful and are hands-on. I've used them to work on my older Chevy Malibu several times in the past year, and would recommend to anyone.

Under new ownership during end of 2018..the same great service, kindness, honesty. Looking forward to years of great honest service from the new owners who come with wonderful personalities and recommendations. Original review: Halli's has done work on our vehicles since 1990 and has always gone above and beyond the norm to resolve issues that the dealers where we purchased our vehicles could not resolve. They are honest, communicate well with customers and know their business. The shop is neat, clean, the staff is wonderful and knows their stuff and our cars get good care. Who could ask for more? We have always and will continue to recommend their service to others. Thanks, Halli and staff for your years of honesty, care and great service!

I used Driven for the first time today for my GTI based on a friend's recommendation. They were awesome! Super friendly and they not only got me in the same day, they also solved the problem quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be back in the future. After another shop causing the destruction of my Subaru engine, Driven rebuilt it for a bit less than the quoted price, and got it back to me in less than 2 weeks.So far I have 350 mi on the new motor and it's running great!They were very personable, answered all my questions and offered several options for increased longevity.10/10!

My first experience with these guys. I was very impressed. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my wife's 2011 Subaru. They had it fixed in 2 days and worked with me to get the price down to what I thought was fair. Will definitely use them again.

I bought a used Subaru Legacy GT Spec.B and I wanted to have the entire car checked over, and then recommendations made on what needed to be fixed. Greg went above and beyond explaining everything that he found on the car, even recommending that I wait on some of the things I was planning, and giving me a logical explanation why it made sense. I felt like the repairs and estimate were fair and honest. I will definitely be taking my current and future Subaru's to Driven.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Great shop! I was late to my appointment and they were very understanding. Got my vehicle in and out quick. Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Great place to have your Asian import vehicle serviced and maintained.

Anybody that drives a foreign car and doesn't have Driven take care of there problems is just wasting money. There have never let us down. We drive a Toyota, 2005 with 178,000 miles. It has only needed a mechanic twice. Once for a wheel bearing, at 165,000 miles and most recently for an exhaust leak. Both times they repair was at or below estimate. And repaired in a timely fashion. One other perk is they offer a military/veteran discount on there Labor. This is an outstanding place of business.

I had taken my jeep somewhere else to get my brakes checked out, they quoted me well over $1,000 to replace pads, rotors and calipers...took it to Driven and was informed my brakes were fine. Appreciate the honesty and saving me lots of money. Any mechanical issues in the future I will DEFINITELY take it back to Driven.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I was there for a used car inspection and I am very pleased with the service I received. The technician was very thorough and explained his findings so that I understood what it would take to fix the problems found. I am not buying the car, Driven Automotive saved me thousands in repair costs.I definitely recommend their services!!

I own a moderately modified BMW. Prior to speaking with Driven I had contacted 5 other locations in the kzoo area and been turned away for an alignment. After a brief conversation with one of the shop leads and office manager they scheduled me for an appointment.My technician was professional, competent, and confident in dealing with what I asked done. I could not reccomend any dealer more than this one.My only complaint, is that my tech didn't "pin it to win it" when I told him to on the test drive.

Greg and Tom are the best technician's out there. Not only do they have master level experience in automotive repair and maintenance, they can be trusted to do a great job and thoroughly inspect a car to know exactly what it needs. Would highly recommend them for any Subaru, Volkswagen, or Japanese import service.

I was referred to this place by a friend who knows the owner. I brought my car in because I'd been ignoring a check engine light but was moving to California and needed it taken care of so as to avoid any incidents on my move.Problem 1: I was told after the diagnostic that the likely culprit was a map sensor, but instead of them replacing it they told me they needed to test to ensure it was actually faulty. I assumed that it was extremely expensive and that the $99 test would save me money if it turned out not to be the sensor. However, the sensor was $126 dollars to fix and the "likely" culprit so I'm pretty sure they just wanted to pad the bill. My fault for not asking what the sensor cost to replace, but shame on them for not giving me the full information to make that decision. Since it was a friend's referral I thought they'd be honest people.Problem 2: One month later I went to use my hazard lights but found them not working. During the repairs they had to enter my center console and had removed some of the dash paneling, during which the hazard switch had come loose. I replaced my own stereo so I knew how to take it off and went to investigate the switch. Sure enough it was disconnected, no big deal. What was a big deal was that they had broken the bottom part of my dash paneling and didn't tell me. Dishonest workers or dishonest shop policies. Who know's what else they break and don't tell their customers.

Driven Automotive is a great neighborhood auto repair shop that really extends their midwest hospitality, even to out of towners! Tom runs a tight ship and is extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to answer questions and talk through any issues. The ladies behind the desks also keep you informed, stay organized, and are extremely nice. The team here was able to get me in, checked out, and fixed in only a couple of hours after encountering an emergency on my drive from Chicago to Ann Arbor. I would recommend Driven Automotive for anything from general maintenance to emergency services!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

You will not find more qualified or honest techs if you have a Subaru or VW / Audi. Greg and Tom are both dealer trained and started out on their own by buying Halli s. They re perfectly qualified for all other makes and models as well. Have no worries you re being taken care of at this shop.

I have a 2004 Mazda 6. The engine light kept coming on every two weeks, but the dealer couldn't find out why. The dealer even replaced the plugs and wires in hopes that it would stop, but it didn't. After a couple of stalls and not starting, Halli's Auto Care identified a bad valve and replaced it. The car has been working just fine since. I will count on them for all my service, from now on.

Absolutely recommended. I'm very happy with the work done on my Camry and the friendliness of the folks there. Also great work on the Odyssey. Can't recommend them enough.

Horrible Service!I purchased a car that had been serviced by Halli's. The valve cover gaskets had been replaced. After only 2000 miles they were leaking again. I was told to bring it in to have it checked out. When I brought it in to have it checked out a little while later they said it was in fact the gaskets, but because so much time had passed they couldn't do anything but cover parts.When I said something must have been done incorrectly he said: "Nothing was done incorrectly, we used cheap gaskets" Even a cheap gasket should last more than 2000 miles if the job is done properly.Halli will not even work with me. I offered to pay half of the cost, we split it down the middle and he still said no.I would NEVER go to this place again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else!
