Wife brought our 17 Expedition on 1/25/24. She got home and said the vehicle was louder than normal. Go out to the garage and the splash shield is dragging and has been smashed up into the convertor as well. Called on 1/29/24 get told they have to check the cameras, they call back and say that yup they missed putting it back up properly. They will order a new shield and call me when it is. I have called 3 times to get an update and get told I will get a call back. Called today to talk to more than a store manager and got put on infinite hold. Poor customer service.

In todays fast paced world we don't seem to appreciate exceptional efforts, but today I will. I never imagined I could be so moved by something as trivial as and oil change....but wow was I impressed! This was just not an oil change; this was a masters class in customer service and precision operations. This team clearly is very well trained and dedicated to their job and it showed with flawless execution. Every business owner that has the general public as their customer, needs to take their managers to this location and see absolute perfection on how it should be done!The only problem was I left my service feeling a bit down because I realized how far away my own business and team is from this level of performance.Kudos to the Manager Mackenzie, would love to have 20 of him on my team!

Please save yourself the trouble, and just go anywhere else. I came in for an oil change and while there, they indicated that I needed a transmission flush. I reluctantly agreed, and they completed the service. Fast forward about three months later, and I was having my transmission lines serviced at a different and more honest and reputable place. They indicated that I should have the transmission flushed immediately, as it was black and not going to flow well through the new lines. When I followed back up here, the manager called me, indicated that he reviewed the video, and determined that the service was done. He basically said that if it was still black after they did the service that it wasn t their fault. So truly save yourself the time, money, and heartache and find a more reputable and honest service shop that stands behind the quality of their work.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They completely messed up my tire valve stem when putting air and now I have to pay 90 dollars to fix it otherwise my tire will deflate. All they said is we can t do anything about it well not even an apology or anything was giving to me. I never write bad reviews or complain but this is horrible service that cost me time, money, and stress. Many have warned me about valvoline but I never thought it would happen to me.

I got my oil change done here in August and they said they only do one type of service and it s $90. I asked if there were any cheaper options and they said no. They continued trying to sell me things even after I said that I couldn t afford any extras with a $90 oil change. I got my oil changed at a different place today and they said Did you get it done at Valvoline? They must ve been upset with you because they tore up your splash shield. I would never recommend going here.

I really like the Jenison team. They're pleasant, professional and efficient. I love that I can stop in before a road trip and have them do a quick check and top off if need be. They're always nice about it.

I ended up getting there about a half-hour before close, and they were still awesome and on-top of it. The vehichle was in need of some love and they got it back into much better shape. Even had a headlight for an older vehichle that I didn't assume they would have on hand or in stock. I love the consistency across Valvoline Instant Oil Change's, they do an excellent job and though they cost a little more I think it's worth it! Thank you for the smoothe and well done job, all of the employees were fantastic!

This location is ran very poorly, and the staff is extremely rude! I had been waiting for 45 minutes and they had me move to a different bay so someone who showed up after me could be seen first. Will not be going back!

I came here on Jun 27th, 2020, and Im sorry to say that this visit led to me having to purchase an entire new vehicle. The employee that changed my oil, filled the oil to high and it cause the dip stick to shoot out and soil the entire undercarriage of my vehicle. My car is a hybrid and the oil spilled onto my cables so now my car has been running poorly. I took the car to the shop and unfortunately, there's nothing they can do about the cables and engine being soiled with oil. This has been the worse experience by far, and the worst part about it was that they didn't even offer me any solution. they told me that they would review that cameras even though i had to pull in while they let some oil out because they agreed that it was too full.

Even though it was very busy the service workers keep things moving as fast but accurately as possible.Had them put new wipers on for winter and they seems very expensive so they better be great ones . They make several reccomendations for services based on mileage and the prices they quote seem very expensive but they are not pushy to do them if you decline which I really appreciate.

Had I not been out in Jenison showing houses when my Maintenance light went on I never would have stopped in to this location. Now I think I ll make the drive just to come to THIS Valvoline. Mac & Dillon are great examples of professionalism & courtesy and their customer service skills seem to come naturally to them.Side note: Having gone to high school in Jenison I never would have thought I d find such a diverse group of employees. In this crazy world I prefer to be around people that do not look like me and I prefer to support businesses that are inclusive & diverse. Well done!

Have been going to this shop for 10 years now, and have observed that there has been quite a high turnover in staff over those years. My most recent experience was in getting my oil topped-off. This was for a used car I had just bought, and it was very unclear what type of oil I should use in it. It was in no way (to me) obvious, and there were no records with the car when I bought it. Manager "Mack" was extremely helpful in determining what my car required, and performed several other free Safety Checks as well. He also took a few extra minutes to tell me WHY he chose the oil he gave me, so for instance I can replace some on the road in the future - between Oil Changes. Very helpful, very polite, and the entire stop there only cost me 8 bucks. I will definitely return.Service: Oil change

The only place I get my oil changed. The staff are always friendly and efficient, and they warn you if there s a long wait when you arrive so you can decide if you want to wait or not. They offer many upsells on an oil change, but are never too pushy about it. Another great experience there today.

Very good experience. Had oil changed and tires rotated. Very professional service, crew was very knowledgeable, they all seem to work well together. Josh, who seemed like the manager was very helpful and very informative on all they were doing to our vehicle. Very good experience, will definitely recommend this shop to family and friends. And will return when our vehicle is in need of an oil change and tire rotation.

I have used valvoline in Jenison for about a year now and have always had good experiences. Recently, I had an issue with my skid plate and felt compelled to write a review. It started scraping the ground after my oil change while I was on the freeway and it was kind of scary! I reached back out to valvoline, and Mac was super helpful, prompt, and sincere when helping us reattach it after its removal during our service with them. He Dillon made sure it was secure, so I don t have to worry about what s going on under my car!! Much appreciative of their hospitality and great service.Service: Oil change

This oil change locations has a lot of nice features. It has cameras so that you can see them working in front and below your car. The technicians do a full system check, not just the oil change. And, they are open on Sunday, when many in the community are closed. Will was very friendly and helpful in choosing the right oil and getting my car taken care of. I would recommend this oil change to friends and family.

I stopped going to Valvoline years ago because they messed up and didn't put something on well enough. I had to go to Valvoline one day because by normal place your system was down. When I went back to my regular place to get my next oil change done Valvoline had put on my oil filter so tight they could not get it off. They spent an hour trying to get it off. We had to push it to a repair shop where they then spent another hour trying to get my oil filter off that Valvoline had put on way too tight. I have already paid the oil change place for my oil change they had already put a new oil everything they just couldn't get the oil filter off Valvoline said they would pay for my oil change but they're paying the repair shop not the oil change shop I tried to explain this to them and they still didn't get it I would never in a million years ever go back to Valvoline trying to explain this whole situation they couldn't even get what I was talking about

This place was great they do great. I say that because they go very throughly theough all there checks amd do a fabulous job at it. I loved the service as well. ALSO, Had great customers service during the whole time I was there and seemed to me the employee's took there job seriously and i find that quiet important manyve it was the boss or that crew but being as that was my first time ever there. The job was done with high quality and great workers and the great quality with the quality of time they making sure everything got done they did a good job and got me out in reasonable time. I believe it's the best fast drive up instant oil changebplace I've ever been to in my many years of driving. I'm 34 but sure have put many miles on lots of vehicles and changing your oil regularly and on time is very crucial to your vehicles and how long they will last. That means all maintenance that's important I keeping a vehicle running good for many miles and as many years as you can.

I brought my VW Touareg here for an oil change. Got it home had some oil in my garage called the location spoke with the second shift MGR Devin went back to the location the Mgr stayed past his time to make sure they found the issue. It was just residual coming off the frame. But MGR went above and beyond to make sure it taken care of. Will return

Great service! These guys were very professional and very informative about the maintenance on my vehicle and providing an excellent oil change!! They didn't try and push anything on me other than what I was there for! (unlike some places) They gave me a list of what they recommended and informed of the function of each different option and let me decide for myself! Good group of guys that take pride in what they do and take care of there customers! I will definitely be back!

The CSA JR is was vary rude too me on my visit today when I went to get my fluids and air filter checked. I was only trying to show one of the workers how the filter comes out bc he didn t know how it came out . Such a friendly staff! They are friendly and establish a relationship with you from the moment you drive up. No awkward waiting and you aren't uncertain as to what is happening to your vehicle, they explain everything to you. Pricing was low, they are upfront about the cost and what work needs to be done on your vehicle and provide you with knowledge on your own vehicle. Overall such a great experience and I will be taking my business here for the future.
