I went to the Jenison store on 2/24/24.The 2 gentleman and lady working were VERY helpful! Check engine light came on in my son's car. They checked the light, and it was the canister purge valve.Checked ytube, and it was a part that looked like I could replace myself. Went back to them, and they had the part. I was able to replaced it. Then I took the terminals off the battery to reset the check engine light, and the hot wire broke off in my hand it was so corroded.I was trying to unscrew the negative cable, and the nut broke off as I was turning it fromthe corrosion. I went back to O'Reilly, and they actually had the exact lead I needed. They were also able to match up the exact bolt and screw that broke off.I was able to replace the cables. Kudos to all three!!

Best customer service ever. I just purchased a new battery from the AutoZone down the road, only for them to tell me after they rang me up that they did not have enough staff to install it for me (there were two at the counter and no other customers). I was given a YouTube video and told if I couldn't do it, come back tomorrow at 7am and they MAY have time to help.So I drove down the road to O'Reilly, where they were so incredibly nice, and the guy working jumped right up and offered to put it in for free. Seriously made my day. Cannot recommend them enough.

Brake pads were in stock. They were a little pricey but just like everything else gas gone up in price. Friendly and knowledgeable employees.

I had an issue with my windshield wiper. And I was helped by the most professional young man that I have ever dealt with in my life.Peter is his name. His first priority was to help me out and that s what he did. His attitude was great and he made me feel appreciated to be a customer. The other young man working. Wes was also very professional. I would highly recommend going to this store. Great job guys you made my evening and thank you very much for your professional attitude and customer service. It is greatly appreciated. It made my day. Thank you again.

Casey just changed out my battery in 20 degree, snowy weather. It was on an old Lexus too so if you know what that entails, it's a pain. When I asked if I could give him my core return in cash for a tip they said "no worries, write a review if you'd like." I didn't have cash on me, but Casey derserved the $22 and more. Hope the owners take care of him. Definitely recommend

Today my fianc� needed a headlight replaced and we haven t had this truck too long and the process of changing the headlight was absolutely INSANE.! to say the least It was freezing cold and it was not easy, but 3 or 4 different workers worked really really hard on it and made it happen. Highly recommend this place the workers went above and beyond to help us today and it was not easy. Thanks again O Reilly guys you all ROCK!!

Took 4 brake rotors here to be turned down while doing a full break job. All 4 are junk as they admitted to installing them on the lath incorrectly. All they offered is the refund of turndown cost back. You get what you pay for - go elsewhere.

Thank you so much to the guys tonight (11/28) around 5:30pm for helping me with getting a new battery. They were extremely kind, patient, and helpful. They tried multiple things to ensure everything was right and then replaced the battery for me when that is what they believed the issue was. I would recommend stopping here for any car help you might need. Thanks again!!

I recommend this place instead of Autozone or Advance Auto because the employees they hire people who are car enthusiasts. Employees are knowledgeable. There are more part and tool rental varietied at O'Reilly's. Advance Auto needs to do a better job hiring employees. They dont need to be mechanics but at least have a passion for automobiles.

David and Ed hooked me up with the right parts at the best price to fix my blazer! I won't ever go anywhere else for any auto parts. Awesome customer service and they even put on a wiper blade in the pouring rain for me before! You guys are the best, thank you for your help.

The two men there were extremely knowledgeable about wondow tint, and helped us tremendously. Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Will be buying all my auto parts from this store/location from now on.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY PARTS! These people are the nicest and most helpful in comparison to any other auto parts store in the area. I had an exceptionally negative experience at Advanced Auto and I called O'Reilly and was helped by Walter and he did everything in his power to make my experience positive despite the fact that we are in a global pandemic of Covid19. I will be a customer for life.

I m new to the area and I work on cars quite often. I tried this store today instead of autozone or advance auto and it s my new favorite store. The two guys that were working today were awesome both times I went in. I usually don t expect good customer service at auto parts stores because that s not usually what you get at the other stores, but I foresee myself making a lot more in store purchases knowing that there is such a nice place to go with such a great staff!

Amazing service! We ran into major problems when replacing our car battery and they went above and beyond. They gave us a ride home because our car wouldn't start and they completely fixed the problem. The store manager was very nice and very professional. I highly recommend Jenison O'Reilly.

If I could give more starts I would. I went to auto zone and they didn t have the part I needed so I went to oriellys. Best decision, I walked in and Dustin and Ed greeted me with a smile, Dustin helped me with my car, I had no idea what the tube was called, and he went way out of his way to come look at it, figure out the part and even thought they didn t have the exact part, he went out of his way to find a part that would do the job. He even put the part in for me. The customer service was amazing. I ll definitely be going here from now on.

Ask for Walter he fixed my problem in less than 10 minutes. He is competent, helpful, and friendly. I did not have a great experience in another auto parts store so was especially appreciative of his time. The store was clean and organized.

Wouldn't change out battery for me.John said it may spark and cause problems. ITS A BATTERY . LAZY.gave me bad customer service 3 days prior on other part. 30 year customer of oriely's. I will not return to this location under current management. Advanced auto 2 blocks away sold me a new better quality battery and installed it with no problem .

The garage that we had our vehicle towed to wanted $220 for a battery without labor. Went to see Walter at Jenison O'Reilly and got a battery with the same cold cranking amps and warranty for half the price of the battery at the garage. Walter was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. We will definitely head back to Jenison O'Reilly Auto Parts for all of our automotive needs!!

Purchased an alternator for my 94 gm truck. Lowest price in town. Called 5 stores... The manager Walter even offered to instal it for me....great service. Done in 20 minutes...

Normally I love O'Reilly, however my experience 1/12/17 was very disappointing. I only need a couple things, knew exactly what I was looking for. One girl was on her cell phone and told me to wait for only other employee on staff who was on the phone. He was talking to another store. The customer service for this store was Appling. I spend a lot of money on auto parts. There are many other auto part stores in the area and I recommend that you go to one for better service.

In late February I purchased a engine from Orilies Auto Parts in Jenison, MI. After having the engine installed it failed in the first 50 miles, I called the store and they advised me they would order and replace the engine. After 2 weeks I went to the store and was informed they had forgot to order the engine but they would get me a new one in 2 days. 2 days later I went back to the store and was then told the order was canceled because they could not do 2 day shipping. So now I escalated the problem to the district manager as the store manager had been at fault in the first place. The district manager got me a new engine coming and advised it would be to me in a week. I called the store after a week and was told that I needed to speak to the store manager and he would call me back that same day. 4 days later I went to the store and inquired about the engine and was told that they had the engine but I needed to start a claim through Power Torque. Extremely frustrated I ended up filing a claim which took an additional 3 days only because I had to escalate the claim multiple times. My mechanic put in the new engine and poured in oil and called me telling me that the new engine was missing a seal. We called power torque and agreed my mechanic would do the job and be paid for parts and labor by power torque. He then took off the oil pan and called me again and told me the engine was full of metal shavings. Once again I called power torque and was told that the engine was no good and that we would have to start a new claim but because Orilies had not returned or called for pick up on my previous engine we would have to wain until that engine was received and processed before power torque would do anything for me. When I asked about a time line they told me generally it takes a week for shipping and 2 weeks for processing so I would likely be 3-5 weeks before I could get a replacement or a refund, but that oreilies could issue me a refund. So once again I called the store and was told that there was nothing they could do to assist me. So not I have been with out a car since Feb 2019 and no one can do anything.

Had an issue with wheel bearing being stuck. The crew here was of excellent. They helped us get it apart and on our way. Thanks for the great service. I recommend this location to anyone and everyone.
