This place is fantastic! Just bought my second car from them and it was a very pleasant experience. Scott is a miracle worker he literally moved heaven and earth to get a deal worked out when I had issues with my credit union. Got me into a beautiful car for an awesome deal. I would recommend Jenison Auto sales to everyone. Scott was wonderful and so helpful throughout the entire process keeping in contact the entire time. I would also like to say something about the negative reviews, used cars can very unpredictable and I would not place blame on these guys they're all great and super helpful.

I worked with guys from all of the dealerships in Jenison. Even made a stop in hudsonville and one stop in Grandville. But Scott at Jenison auto sales was the most honest and helpful at meeting the needs of my family . I recommend him to everyone.

Great place to buy a vehicle! I bought 2 vehicles from this place so far. I had great luck with the 1st one and just bought the second one. Great sales people who live by there motto " our word is our bond". They are not pushy and very nice.

I want to share my nightmarish experience with you, involving a 2015 Ford Taurus purchased from Scott at this dealership. Scott portrayed himself as a consummate professional who genuinely cared about his job. He assured me the car had been on the lot for less than a year, Scott offered this car at a "bargain" price because his brother was on vacation, and I, in desperate need of a vehicle, fell for it.I hastily took the car to a mechanic, only to discover a laundry list of issues. The brakes were shot, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. The A/C compressor was kaput, the drive belt was worn, front and rear stabilizers needed repairs, and control arms were in dire straits. Even the windshield fluid was non-operational! To add insult to injury, he handed me a security key that caps the car's speed at 60mph.When I contacted Scott about these problems, hoping for assistance or at least an explanation, his response was beyond disheartening. He callously stated, "I'm not a mechanic."Folks, let this serve as a cautionary tale AVOID this dealership at all costs. If you find yourself in a bind and must consider buying from them, err on the side of caution. Have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by a trusted mechanic before making a decision. Don't fall victim to this scam artist and his deceitful tactics. Your wallet and peace of mind depend on itPs - come to find out this car has been on the lot for three plus years once I looked into it days after finding out I was tricked into believing it was a good working car

Jenison auto has been incredible; specifically Gary, the owner. I purchased a car from him and he went above and beyond to help me with fixes and part replacements once my vehicle ended up needing a new transmission. He honored the 30 day warranty even after it was over by a few days! He cares deeply for his customers and wants to make anything right about the cars he sells to ensure his customers are happy and taken care of. I would 100% recommend this place to buy used cars from, there s a good variety AND the people who work there are incredible.

Scott was great to work with!! Bought a vehicle form him as is. When investigating work that I knew I needed to do, found the subframe was cracked. Scott didn t hesitate to refund my money when he legally did not have to. Very honest, would definitely work with him again.

Such a good experience while buying my first owned car with Scott! He was very helpful and flexible. Very nice owners and honest. He made buying my first car easy and relaxed. I would definitely choose them again for buying a car!

Bought a truck from Scott. Was a great guy to work with and gave me a deal on my truck and great experience purchasing; unfortunately for me it was sold as is and I didn't take it for a long enough test drive. Had I done that the engine would've been warm enough to code out the issues with the engine because the codes started the very next day after driving it for a while. Was a great experience working with Scott however I'm kicking myself because this great vehicle, and great experience, has turned into a learning lesson because the vehicle isn't worth the guaranteed fix to solve the issue. Haven't even received the title yet and been regretting this decision. Would've been 5 star rating except for the issues with this engine

Just bought a car from Gary over at Jenison Auto Sales and I have got to say, best customer service hands down. They really know how to make you feel welcome and make sure you get that car you want. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

A great small owned business, that had taken care of me. I am a graduate student who was looking for a more reliable used car, and purchased one here. The car had died 3 days after, and these gentleman walked with me through this time, and stood by me in the ways that they could and helped me fix what had been broken. They made it right, and took care of their customer. Cars that die are very difficult to predict, so it is not necessarily their fault. I would do business with them again considering how well they took care of me, and helped me, even though they had absolutely no obligation to do so.

Bought an 11700.00 mustang from them and them found out it needed an oil change badly. I texted to ask if it was serviced and got no reply. Very disappointing to have s mechanic check out and he said air cleaner was filthy too. Buyer beware i am now

We purchased a van from Scott. They were very honest, genuine and non-pushy. We learned they are family owned for 3 generations (they have been in business in the same location for a long time and that says something). Scott did several small "extra mile" type things that we really appreciated. I would purchase from them again and/or send a friend or family member to them.

I bought my 2010 Ford Edge from Gary. He was great to deal with and so was Scott. They were amazing to work with and worked with me on the price. They went above and beyond even with the little things. I would definitely recommend!

Drove 2 hours because they said the car had no issues, great car, new tires. Bought car warranty for $600. Found out the new tires are the wrong size for the car. Their was rubbing in the front they said they think it is something with brakes and that is what we thought at first. Took to mechanic needs a new transmission which now the warranty won't even cover. Then we found out it was a flood car that was totaled but refurbished. To top everything else off the front end is missed up. We got sold a lemon. We are very disappointed with being lied too about this car being in great condition. We are now looking at another $5000 if not more to get it in GREAT CONDITION. Will never go back to this place again!! Did not want to put 1 star but I have too!

Bought a Ford Escape from Gary. Unfortunately, it had a transmission leak shortly after my purchase and I live out of town. Gary was extremely helpful and very responsive to the concern. He fully honored the 50/50 warranty that came with my purchase and allowed me to get the vehicle repaired out of town.

It is refreshing to work with good honest people when buying a big ticket item like a car and that s exactly what you get with Scott and Gary and Jenison Auto Sales . We were able to get mother in law into a low miles Pontiac G6 that she s now had for 8 years and is still running strong . We had a couple of questions after the car was already purchased and Scott was still just as responsive as before the sale. I d recommend Jenison Auto Sales to anyone .

My car unexpectedly broke down, but I found a Ford Escape from Jenison Auto Sales that I was interested in. Scott worked with me very quickly and within a week I had bought my first car on my own! They were very helpful and allowed me to drive the car to my mechanic to have it checked out before I purchased it. I am very happy with my Ford Escape!

A guy showed up said no we don't have the car you saw online and walked away. I guess they aren't into sales. Most vehicles look e d nice but not everything's listed online like scrapes and scratches so you should call ahead and ask.

Nice sales staff but when my wife and I bought a 2009 Ford Flex, 1 week later we had to get the all wheel drive transmission replaced. 1,700 later and let me just say this, they had to have known about this issue before they put a for sale sign on this car.

Tagged along with my sister to look at cars (she didn't know what she wanted not there fault). The salesmen did great at explaining the 4 cars she was looking at and talking things over. One of the cars was low on fuel and I think more information could be on them for late night shoppers. She was looking at cheaper cash cars so maybe that was it. Still a great experience.

Seemed good until I went to purchase the car I wanted. Could smell oil burning, and within a mile hear metal on metal grinding. He says he'll get his mechanic fixing it, um no.. no thank you. Looked nice, but for that kind of money I better get more than a lawn ornament! Then he proceeds to have me look at his other vehicles. One had no gas, he says oh well the gage works sometimes, and sometimes not. Next one had windows that didn't work, so on and so on. All these vehicles are above $5000 mind you. For broken vehicles. Best thing to do is find another dealership, one with an established reputation.

I had originally post 2 stars on accident when attempting to review another business.This lot has a nice selection of cars. All price ranges. Only reason for not 5 stars is I haven't actually purchased a car here or dealt with the employees yet.

I worked with Gary and he was very helpful and all the employees are very friendly. I purchased a GMC Acadia and had a very specific amount that I wanted to spend, they worked with me and got it as close as possible to that amount. I will definitely purchase from them again

We went here to buy my daughter a car just to get around town. The service was fast and friendly and they gave us a really good price for the car we got. My only dislike is a week after we got the car the exhaust went bad so we have to pay for repairs before we wanted to but other than that I'd shop here again I'd just not buy such an old car.
