I rarely give 5 stars, this place deserves it. In regards to my first trip, I could tell during the initial call with the owner that he enjoys what he does.I brought him a car for basic work over a week I was to be out of town for work and he called me within a couple hours of drop-off with a thorough assessment of my initial reason, plus a few other things to look for as upcoming maintenance. None of the additional items he found were safety related and he didn't try to upsale anything, he just wanted to make sure I was aware. He called to confirm prices and timing the next day to keep me in the loop prior to beginning the repair. He was prompt and actually finished the work before I returned and ahead of schedule.I have used his garage again since the initial repairs and have had similar experiences. I will continue to use Xpert and definitely recommend giving them a call.

I have been going to Xpert Automotive for about 2 years now. They are great! I am very happy with their service and friendliness. I trust them to work on both of my vehicles. I highly recommend this business to those who are looking for knowledgeable mechanics to work on their vehicles.

After another mechanic wasn t able to find the issue I was having with my car, I was recommended to try Xpert Automotive. From the start, the communication was great. I appreciate the detailed explanation up front about the process, the explanation of the problem when found as well as the cost to repair. The repair was done quickly and all seems to be good with my car now.

Mike is always honest and trustworthy. I have a nice 2011 truck with a suspension lift. Went to Bel Tire for a quote for new shocks and Struts, they" no quoted me". So, I went to see Mike at Xpert Auto. He took the truck in for a full evaluation. he explained to me that he could do the job. He showed me that there was other idem that needed to be replaced along with the shocks and struts for safety reasons. He replaced everything in 2 days. Been going to Xpert for a few years now, have a "fleet" of a few minivans and trucks, a bus, and personal vehicles, and Mike and crew have been great working through any issues we have. 5/5 would recommend to anyone.

I was driving home to Chicago and got a flat 6 miles from this shop on a Sunday at 6pm. AAA towed me here and I called the shop right at 8am when they opened. The owner, Mike, answered and provided me clear, succinct, and very helpful service! He was able to find a used tire and wheel to get me on the road home same day. He did not try to and get me to buy 4 tires from him (I had a scheduled tire appt in Chicago Tuesday for new tires!!!) because the warranty wouldn t be useful so far away, so he had my best interest at the forefront vs his profit. I would absolutely recommend this shop! Very kind, thoughtful service! Also affordable!

My family and I have used Xpert auto for roughly 15 years wouldn t dream of going anywhere else. The guys there are always helpful and treat everyone with dignity and respect. They take pride in the work they do and do it at a fair price. My family and I were driving back on a long road trip when we hit a pot hole and heard some worrying noises from our wheels. We quickly searched for a repair shop to get it checked out and Expert Automotive was able to get it up on the lift and checked out as soon as we arrived. Phenomenal, responsible service! Mike has always been honest with what needs fixing on our vehicles. He contacts you to get your input on alternatives, if there are any. He also gets all the parts needed before the job and is able to send back unused parts if not needed. The crew at Xpert Automotive are fast and friendly. Every time I have brought my car in for repairs and maintenance(been going there for a couple years), they always give well informed advice and don't talk down to me. If you're looking for mechanics who know their stuff and are reliable, friendly, and educated go to Xpert.

Have been bringing my vehicles to Mike for a couple years now. He's done work on my Traverse, Acadia and F-150, very pleased with it all and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I took my Jeep to him because it was overheating and running rough. He had my vehicle a couple days. He told me he wouldn't fix it but charged me 125.00.That doesn't seem fair since I was willing to pay him to fix it. He could at least warn people that he may charge 125.00 even though he won't fix it. What he did is probably illegal.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is 1 of the few places I truly trust to do extensive diagnostic. We had an issue with our minivan continually losing power - I couldn't figure out if it was a fuel issue, electrical issue (such as the coil) or what. Tried another local mechanic who couldn't diagnose it - and even HE sent me to Xpert. He said it's who he uses when he runs into an issue he can't solve. Enough said!
