I recently visited Valvoline for an oil change, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Despite full bays, they were prompt in letting me know that my wait would be only 10 minutes. The staff was attentive to my specific requests, ensuring that I got the full synthetic oil I wanted and setting my tires to the desired psi based on my non-stock tires.As a woman, I appreciated that they didn't try to upsell me on an air filter replacement (I knew I had just replaced mine a month prior), and in fact, the staff member assured me that the filter was still in good condition. Devin was fantastic at explaining the recommended services for my vehicle's current mileage without being pushy. He was articulate and thorough in his explanations, which I found very helpful. He explained the entire process and all of my options very well.After the service, I was shown the oil level in my vehicle and offered a printed list of their services along with their prices and completion times. This level of transparency was refreshing, and I was able to get back on the road in a very timely manner.Overall, I was impressed by the professionalism, efficiency, and respect for my preferences at Valvoline. I recommend their services and will definitely be returning for future maintenance needs.

Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable staff. They are quick, reliable trustworthy and always forthcoming. They do excellent work and are always willing to answer any questions. Always willing to go above and beyond to provide any assistance necessary while remaining patient with even the least informed vehicle owner. Always persistent in giving you useful information and helping you solve your problems or directing you to someone that can. They don't pressure you to buy services you don't need and tend to stay focused more on the services they believe will benefit you most. Even willing to look for, inform you of, explain in great detail and take photos of any potential or obvious issues noticed while performing the service.

Caution! Please read this. Your sticker will say you need to have your oil changed in 3,000 miles even when they sell you the full synthetic oil rated to last 7,500 to 10,000 miles. You will spend in the neighborhood of 100.00 for the full synthetic and then in 3,000 miles you will look at your sticker and you will feel you are over the mileage for an oil change.I consider this a dishonest business practice. It is deceitful. People who are not aware or mechanical will pay for synthetic oil at a premium cost and they will change it way too soon.Check your manufacturers recommendations and you will see that full synthetic oil is good for 7,500 to 10,000 miles and you are wasting money to change it at 3,000 miles.If you like the quick, friendly, convenient service here, just be sure they set your window sticker at the same number of miles as the full synthetic is rated or go where they are more honest and forthright and don't do use shady, deceitful business practices.

Their ads seem true enough - quick and friendly service! What pushed me to leave a review, however, is that I needed to send over documentation of services I received to my dealership as they're going to be replacing something under warranty. Valvoline was courteous and able to look up my records quickly then emailed me the documents shortly after! I was very appreciative!

I always used to change oil myself. I just don't have the time for it anymore. These are the only guys I trust. Top quality product and service. These guys did my Silverado oil, transfer case, both differentials and my air filter in about 35 minutes. The crew is friendly and I would say they know their way around a truck better than most dealerships. Great value as well, thank you guys.

extremely helpful employees!1. the people who worked on my oil change were kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. took only about 10 minutes. 2. i had forgotten to apply a coupon at the time of my oil change. when i realized, i called back and got in touch with customer service, who was actually very receptive and cheerful. they were able to apply my coupon and refund the amount to my card (within 3 - 5 business days).would absolutely recommend!

I had a fairly decent experience but one of the employees was using very vulgar language out loud where the other customers could hear clearly. Every time I go to this specific location (W Michigan Ave in Jackson), I actually look forward to my oil change. They do a great job and I always leave with a smile on my face because the staff is kind, knowledgeable, and really fun! They're quick, great at communicating with me, and always provide quality service that I can trust.

Man, I've had my oil changed at a hundred different places through the years, but never have I been treated like such a "friendly neighbor", (best way to describe it), as I was here! These guys were professional and fast! They weren't pushy or try to oversell anything. I felt like my buddy was helping me change my oil! They even told me the best way to save money by bundling when I asked at the end! Great guys!

Went here for a oil and filter change and two days later my car started making a sound it never made before. It was a broken crankcase valve, which for my car is about a $2000 repair. I have a foreign car and their guys clearly didn't know what they were doing and was banging around trying to figure things out. I won't be going back.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I pulled up to the W Mich Ave location in Jackson Mi a little after 2pm on my lunch break for an oil change there was a car in both bays being serviced and one additional car waiting at one bay. I pulled up behind car being serviced. No one greeted me and I sat for at least 15 minutes without more than an occasional unfriendly glance from the employees. They were working at a snails pace. There wasn t the slightest bit of urgency on their part. I finally left and will get service elsewhere.

I usually go to my local Dodge dealership, but they were back logged. I had gone to this station before but after going the other day I forgot why I need to just come here. Of course they were polite and prompt, but i left feeling so much more informed about my car- how it is doing now and what is coming up as far as needed services. Not being a "car girl" it makes me feel more comfortable about my vehicle. Thanks!!!

Fantastic customer service. Tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything so that you knew exactly what you were getting. They even printed off a sheet that shows what the vehicles recommended upkeep (per manufacturer) should be. Would highly recommend.

The gentleman that changed the oil was very helpful. When other employees aren't busy they help the other technicians there working. When I was there they made it where I will always come back when I'm in Jackson. Big smiles and very friendly.

It feels weird to say "I had fun getting my oil changed," but I did! I came in one hour before close when is was SUPER HOT out, and the employees were still fast, efficient, kind, and cracking jokes with me and each other the whole time. Thanks for the great service! Thank you. Outstanding performance this time. Now I can tell my family and friends where to get there oil changed. The oil change itself was very good, and the technicians that changed my oil are great guys. However, with every job you need to clean up after yourself. Under the hood of my "new vehicle" had oil and handprints of oil in about four or five different spots and drips from when they removed the oil canister instead of putting a rag under it when they removed it. I was able to clean up the oil drops and wipe down the plastic, but----------Why did they not clean it up?
